Howard Lee DMD – Specialist in Orthodontics

Dr. Lee and everyone in the office is AMAZING and very friendly! From the initial consultation to removing my braces they provided me with excellent care! They were super flexible with my appointments and always within the reach when needed. They take their time when caring for patients so you won’t feel rushed. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing braces. Now my smile looks beautiful! Thank you Dr. Lee!

My10yr old daughter just started treatment at Dr. Lee’s office. The office staff are courteous and friendly, and made my daughter feel good and comfortable with her new braces. I am positive that the end results will be perfect.

My son is coming to the end of his braces and his teeth look amazing! I’m very happy with Dr. Lee’s treatment and how his office was able to work around his school and work schedule.

I’m nearing the end of my 1 ½ year Invisalign treatment. Dr. Lee and his staff have been very professional, efficient and friendly during this time. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to see the dr. I’ve had to change a few appt times without a problem. I would recomment Dr. Lee to others who are in need of orthodontia.

Dr. Lee is an awesome Orthodontist ! He is a fun loving and professional guy ! He does an excellent job on all the patients. I would recommend him for anybody who needs braces or Invisalign in the long beach area.

Let me preface by saying that this review is for my experience with the office person answering the phone when I called to schedule a consultation appointment. Unfortunately, she was so rude that I was never able to obtain an appointment to see the orthodontist, nor would I want to after this experience. I requested an appointment for my child and the woman on the phone (I didn’t get her name) asked if I wanted a morning or afternoon. I preferred afternoon, so she offered an appointment that was over two weeks away. I inquired if appointments were difficult to obtain because the appointment she gave me seemed so far away. She became irritated and said that the reason for the long wait was because I wanted an afternoon appt (I told her I preferred afternoon when she asked in the beginning of the conversation but she failed to mention there would be a longer wait). Then she arrogantly stated she could give me an earlier date if I wanted to come in morning. I felt as though she was doing me a favor offering me an appt. I told her I was not sure if the times she gave me would work considering they were weeks away so I would have to check my schedule and call back. She basically said” that’s fine” and abruptly hung up the phone. There was no «thank you for calling» or «we look forward to hearing from you». Orthodontia is such a long-​term option and this is one person I don’t want to frequent on a monthly basis. You can’t have a customer service related occupation and have this kind of attitude. When you choose an office, it’s not just about the doctor; it’s also about the staff who work there and who will have some impact on your treatment. With so many orthodontists in the area, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
As a side note, I contacted two other orthodontists recommended by our dentist for consultations and they both provided appts within a day or two so that is the reason I asked about the long wait.

We couldn’t be happier with Dr Lee. His entire team is so kind and gentle and made my 7 year old feel so comfortable. His work is stellar and my daughters teeth look beautiful. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Howard Lee to get my orthodontic care and so far, the service I’ve received have been great! I work M-​F 8 – 5 so it works out well for me that I can come get my monthly services late afternoon — thankfully I don’t have to use vacation or well time for this. If my appt is at 445, I get in at 440 and I’m seen within 5 mins; love that I don’t have to waste time sitting around to be seen. I make monthly payments using online bill pay and it works out so well for me. For referring someone for ortho care, they gave me a pair of movie tickets– score!

Dr. Lee and his staff are great. The billing and options were clearly explained and they are very flexible with scheduling. My son had an intense academic schedule and would head to the office after school. There were times when he was too exhausted or stressed to go and the staff was great about rescheduling him. I have often heard of the whole process of braces being stressful but thanks to Dr. Lee and his staff that was not our experience at all.

The office is super clean & nice hardwood floors with beautiful décor. The Dr. Is soo great and explains everything. The front desk clerk is also wonderful I would recommend anyone I know
