Though I did not revisit this location, I do have to give credit for Ron (the owner) reaching out to make amends. That certainly contributes to better customer service, so I think they get the extra star just for that!

I had been using a cheap «off the rack» frame for an important certificate of mine. My wife did a lot of time consuming research into custom framing and was going to have it framed for me as a surprise but decided it was best to include me in the decision. Based on reviews and a desire to support local business, we decided to check out the Hall of Frame instead of going to a well-​known and large frame store that has a bunch of locations.
I’ll cut to the chase: I am extremely pleased with the work and the product. I did not realize the importance of good craftsmanship with framing – I always thought a frame was a frame – until I saw the final product. Ron, the owner of Hall of Frame, is a true professional. My framed certificate looks beautiful hanging in my office.
There are four reasons to give business to the Hall of Frame: (1) the craftsmanship is top shelf, (2) Ron has a career’s-worth of knowledge and can recommend the best type of frame and materials to use based on the object being framed, (3) it is a local business that has been in the neighborhood for something like 30 – 40 years, and (4) the cost is very competitive.
Another bonus is that the frame was finished about two weeks before I expected it to be done.

I have been. To multiple framing stores by far this is the one. They have large collection of frames. And the employees do an amazing job getting it done quickly. Recently my boyfriend asked me to marry him. And. We had few pictures i wannted to get done before our engagement party and. They where done on time and was so beautiful

If I knew then what I know now, I would have driven past this shop and found another. Work wasn’t ready, was done poorly, and I was overcharged. It was insinuated I had a hand in it falling off of my wall as the hanging wire wasn’t replaced, nor recognized after the fact as a result. Even rectified, I now have a high gloss print hanging on my wall so shiny you can only look at it at night.

Highly recommend this place. I needed glass replaced on a large portrait which was cracked during a move. Ron was super helpful and knew what type of glass would be best for this particular piece. He got the job done super quick and the price was reasonable. He was also super upfront about cost when I asked about getting some other work done.

I am very appreciative of the quality work of this shop that Long Beach has relied on since 1979. Thanks Again, Ron!

Just picked up 3 numbered prints I had reframed by Ron at Hall of Frame. Like all the other reviewers mentioned, Ron helped me with my framing options by asking questions, looking at alternatives for style and cost, and being very entertaining in the process.
My pics look so much better than they did in the 30-​yr-​old frames I had them in! Gave them new life. Ron also introduced me to the no-​fade glass, to preserve the color from any further fading. Wonderful! Would definitely return to Hall of Frame for any further framing needs.

Great quality frames and the owner really knows what he’s doing. The owner is very honest and really helped me get the nicest frame for my budget. The turnaround time was quick, also. I’ll definitely come here again for all my picture framing. Thanks and I highly recommend.

I love when I can support local businesses who provide services with a sense of love and passion. This is what you’ll get when you bring your framing needs to Ron and Hall of Frame here in Long Beach. I’ve walked past and driven by this spot many times and when the time came to get my wife’s Christmas present framed, it was my go to place.
Ron (owner and framer with over 30 years of experience) greeted me with some questions about the color pallet of my home furnishings and wall color. I’m partly color blind so answering these key questions were a bit difficult on my end but he put together some sample framing and mate options, along with a quote.
Now I haven’t had anything framed for years; so seeing how much this custom frame job was going to be, I hesitated on the cost… asking if there were any cheaper options. Ron thought about it and pulled out a cost friendly alternative set up for my piece of art… a move that honestly ended up looking better than if I went with the more expensive option (it was a piece of art with many colors. Went with a fire-​orange metallic frame with no mating).
For the personal touch of having one-​on-​one customer service, with no rush to get your money and send you on your way, Hall of Frame is worth the little extra money for what you get when you bring your needs here. I might pay a little extra but I know that the attention to detail and personal passion Ron has for his art makes it all worth the while.
I will most definitely bring my framing needs to Ron in the future.

I was recommended by a friend to have a piece or art framed. I took my print over to Ron and he only had one rule: his work is limited by two things — his creativity and my pocketbook. He walked me through the framing styles I could chose from then demo’d a couple of ideas for me Two quotes were provided, both of which were respectable given the size of my print. He really knew how to please the customer.
I will be bringing my future art purchases there as well.

I needed a print framed, so I looked up picture framers on Unilocal… Hall of Frame showed up and was literally across the street from where I was eating. It had good reviews so I popped in to check it out. The owner, Ron, has 30+ years experience and was really friendly and knowledgable. He went out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, while giving me honest professional opinions and helpful advice without trying to sell me on something I didn’t need. I highly recommend you come here first if you need framing. I will be back here for sure.

If you have custom framing needs. This is the place. The owner Ron, has decades of experience and is a true craftsman at his trade. You rarely find depth of knowledge and pride of workmanship anywhere anymore. You find it here in spades.

Education, on how pictures and prints fade…
I had all my pictures and posters of special significance put into custom made frames with TruGuard UV Protection (special glass used) therefore the pictures /​prints will be preserved for years to come.
The owner Ron is a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. He really seemed to care about giving you a nice product. If you want to take care of your stuff go here and you will get top quality framing.
