After getting terrible manicures a day prior, my mother and I came to Elite to get them fixed. We got gel manicures that were without a doubt the best nail service we’ve ever received. The shop is both clean and comfortable and everyone there was so kind. I’m shocked that it wasn’t busier! Can’t wait to return.

It was my first time at the salon and I have to say I was very happy with the service. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and was seen within 10 minutes even though everyone was busy with other customers. There were 3 employees 2 men and 1 woman and you can tell they all take pride in their work. They were taking their time to make sure they got it right. It was worth the time I was there. The salon was very clean and had no smells of harsh chemicals or products. The parking isn’t the best I can only imagine if I went in on a Saturday how much parking would be a pain.

I would have previously given them 5 stars, but I can’t recommend going if they are busy. Today, I went in, and rather than recommending I come back, they took me. The whole time, the guy who was doing my mani/pedis was constantly looking at the next customer coming in. By the time he got to my nails, he cut one of my cuticles and didn’t give me a hand massage at all. Consequently, I left with dry hands a dried blood on my nail bed. Not the relaxing experience I was looking for.

I cannot say enough good things about this salon! I came down to Long Beach to accompany my husband on a work thing. I decided to get a pedicure in a whim and found this little gem on Unilocal.I really liked that it was a chemical free salon but I was worried about what the quality would be like… and how long it would last. I really didn’t need to worry but I’ll get back to that. I called to make sure they could fit me in that day and sure enough they could so I caught a Lyft over to the salon. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and a gentleman directed me to pick my color and directed me to a comfy chair. The vibe was so relaxing that I immediately felt at ease. I noticed it smelled lovely in there, without the chemical smell you get in other nail salons. The pedicure was awesome! I got the one with the hot stone massage. Best leg massage I’ve ever had! I’m pretty sure I fell asleep. Ha! But my technician was so professional and friendly… he stopped talking when he saw I needed a rest. As for the duration of my pedicure. It’s been almost two weeks and my polish still looks amazing and my feet are still very soft. I’m very active and hard on my pedicures so this is a huge plus for me! I wish I had a nail salon this awesome in my hometown. I’d get pedicures more often!

I came here for the first time this passed weekend. I made an appointment and was taken on time. Cute salon in nice area. I got a $ 45 pedicure, which included callus scrub mask 15 min massage and hot stone . Where do I start … The tech was training a woman while he was working on me which was fine because he was very good at multitasking and speaking very low in Vietnamese about what he was doing . Another client walks in so the new tech starts … IDK what was going on but he stopped working on me for about 10 or 15 minutes to take over for the new tech. I was still OK .I get it small staff busy salon… Next thing I know I get a different tech to finish my massage and polish. I got bout a 5 – 7 minute massage when it said it was 15 and the hot stones were not even hot or warm and I got it rubbed on one leg only … The other clients were loud and talking to each other across the salon so I didn’t relax. I felt like I wasted my money and time on a half ass expensive pedicure did not get to relax wasn’t offered a beverage wasn’t asked if it was OK to switch technicians nothing like I wasn’t there… I am a nail technician myself which I didn’t mention I never do … Maybe I have high standards for a nail salon… but atleast start with making the new client feel relaxed and like they are getting their money’s worth … I will not return here

I really like coming here. Less chemicals better ingredients. Location is good and right across from yummy from coffee shop. The nail techs are really nice. I only get pedicures and my only complaint is my polish chips and seems to thin out at the top of the nail after a couple of days. I do a lot of yoga but that’s never really affected my pedis. Maybe I should bring my own polish, I just can’t figure it out. Maybe it’s just me because I mentioned it to them and they said they’d never had a problem with that before.(I even get glitter on top which typically stays in place even longer.) They did say I could come back and get it fixed if it started to chip which is super sweet. Unfortunately, I’m not the kind of person that would do that.

Friendliest professional staff, was 10 minutes from closing and willing to accept me. Took their time to insure that I felt taken cared of. Excellent hospitality, offering cold refreshments and tea. Will definitely be returning again. If you are in the Belmont Heights area please do not hesitate to see them. Extremely satisfied!

Courteous and attention to detail! My mom and I went for pedicures and a facial. The technicians paid great attention to detail and made sure to look over their work. It was a nice and very relaxing time. We will definitely be returning!

Great experience with a gel mani pedi. They had a wide variety of colors– organic! — and were both efficient and friendly. And they were kind to my crazy Mamasaur who kept falling asleep through the relaxation of it all. I’m very happy with my nails!

I love this place. I’ve been here a couple times now and have never been to a more pleasant, affordable, and high quality salon. The people are amazing, they work hard, and they are honest. I will come back here always.

I was very pleased to snag a last minute appointment at Elite Organic Nail & Spa on a recent trip to Long Beach. The staff are very friendly and do an excellent job. The overstuffed chairs are quite comfortable for a manicure or pedicure — which come with a beverage. I can recommend the special pedicure. You’ll definitely leave feeling pampered!

On NYE, we made an appointment for the last minute hand and feet treatment along with gel mani & pedi, as well as waxing, the experience was absolutely amazing. Beautiful and upscale looking salon, they use organic chemical free stuffs, we didn’t smell harsh chemicals in there like other nail salons. They said they have lots of pregnant women coming in and baby showers all the time, that’s very interesting. Glad we went in at a perfect time, they were so busy before and got busy again while we were getting our services done. Both hubby and I were very satisfied with our treatments, loved the scrub and mask they used on our hands and feet. My silver glittering gel was perfect for NYE party. My waxing was great too, very gentle and detailed. This place is not far from us, think we might come here from time to time, the services were great, everybody was so friendly, one of the top nail salons I have ever been to!

This place was an interesting spot overall. I’ll just break down my thoughts into pros and cons. Pros: — AMAZING massage treatment. As another reviewer said, having men do it might be the trick. If you like firm massages this is your spot. — everyone was super nice and attentive. — good color selection and decent pricing for what you get. — they get serious about callus treatments. Cons: — the exfoliating scrub advertised for my service was more of an application of scrub. No actual rubbing occurred. — no music? This may have just been a fluke but it was bizarrely quiet during my session. — my gel manicure turned out looking a bit blobby. Overall I would probably be back for a mani or a pedi and just save the gel detail for another spot.

CONS: — No hours of operation on their Facebook, Unilocal, brochure, nor web page. Had to call. — Prices are confusing. Discounts offered if you like their salon on Facebook, but not redeemable in person because«the prices are already discounted from the brochure.» Maybe take off that offer if it’s no longer current? — My massage chair didn’t work. I’m petite so had to sit with my legs somewhat hyper-extended because they couldn’t bring the chair closer to the foot rest. — First gal spent 50 minutes on my feet and hurt me because she was filing into my skin – ouch! All she did was clean my cuticles, cut/file my toe nails. She seemed like she was straight out of cosmetology school. — For an Elite Mani/Pedi, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes! — The Exfoliating Sugar Scrub was simply placed on my arm for 2 minutes, then wiped off with a warm towel. Not sure you can exfoliate unless there’s some rubbing involved unless this was a rub-free exfoliant. PROS: — After I complained about how the(inexperienced) gal was taking too long and no one had even started with the mani(50 minutes into it), another woman with more experience, Phun, took over and salvaged the situation. She redid the entire cut/file(nails were uneven), cuticle, etc. MUCH better. Also someone else started on my mani. I know part of this had to do with the fact that they were busy when I walked in. BUT don’t let a newbie provide a $ 48 treatment. — The Hot Stone massage was pretty amazing. — Better nail polish application I’ve had in a while, as the polish met my cuticles. A cheaper salon that I’ve patronized seems to always end just before the cuticle. — Owner/Manager is friendly and the salon is clean. — They use Zoya, non-toxic, ‘natural’ nail polish with an assortment of colors. OVERALL: Will I return? Maybe in several months when they have worked out the kinks, but it would only be for a basic pedi. Didn’t think that the service provided for the Elite Mani/Pedi was worth it.

One of the best experiences I have ever had at a nail salon! Normally when I get my nails done I feel awkward. But here all of the workers(all of them male when I was there) were super friendly! I got a mani/pedi(regular) and it was only around $ 30 — very reasonably priced! The mani/pedi included a short massage for both arms and legs, and it was by far the best massage I’ve ever had while getting my nails done! At the end the guys gave me tips on how to keep my nails nice — it was a great experience and I will definitely come back here.
