I thought I would try a new location than my usual. Good service and good food and beer as my usual locaton. Clean but a bit small. Depending where you park the parking can be pricy. When im out this way and in the mood I will come back to this location and I will reccomend this place to family and friends …

With good service, a fine beer selection and eclectic but delicious food, Congregation is definitely worth a visit!

Usually have an awesome beer list. Food is not bad. Service is really good sometimes but can be really bad at times too. Awesome trivia at 3pm every Sunday.

The inside of here reminded me of The Dubliner :)
When you go in, you have to go to the counter where they take your order & pay. They do bring your order to your table though and come around asking you if you need anything constantly.
We ordered the Nachos, Carnitas Pizza, Tater Tots, & the Portobello Fries.
The Nachos were really tasty and the Carnitas Pizza too. I’m not a big meat person, so to me it seemed like there was a lot of meat on both the Nachos & the Pizza. Everything had a really great flavor. When you order the Tater Tots, they have an assortment of sauces that you can order. I really like mushrooms, but I personally did not like the Portobello Mushroom fries.
They have a huge selection of beers & drinks! I tried the Mexican Mule, which is a Moscow Mule, but with Tequila, and YUM! It was so good. I also had a beer float with Lambic Raspberry Beer, which was an amazing dessert :)

I had pretzel and spinach salad with chicken… The perfect bar treat! I wish I had a beer because they have every single type you’d ever want but I had a Moscow mule instead and it was ok.
Pretty tight quarters but we snagged a corner table and it was so nice.

Came here for food and drinks with a group of friends on a Saturday night. Surprisingly it wasn’t super packed and we were lucky to find a table for the six of us. I ordered the bacon ranch chicken salad and it okay. The tater tots were fried nicely and there are a lot of dipping sauces to try from! Some dipping sauces I tried with the tater tots are the curry ketchup, rosemary garlic aioli, sweet chili and sour cream sauce, cheese and beer fondue sauce and they were all good. It’s a nice place to hang out with friends even though it’s a bit loud and kind of hard to hear each other. For my drink I got the sierra nevada otra vez which had a interesting tart finish probably from the grapefruit and cactus.

First stop to my adventurous night. I was originally drawn to this location because of the finger foods I saw on Unilocal and decided I was going to try it myself.
I really enjoyed the selection of beers and the Carnitas Pizza although wasn’t given an option for any larger portion for the pizza.
Their tater tots taste like tots are supposed to taste and their nachos are pretty great!

I ordered my fav liquor on the rocks and was shocked to see one of the shortest pours in SoCal. Pretty chinsy for the price. My date had a cappuccino that took 10 mins and wasn’t hot. The server/​bartender who poured my little baby drink brought her cream (why?) but no sugar. I had to flag down another server for that.
Ordered a pizza, ribeye burger and the soft pretzel. Underwhelming all around but not really bad.
Might go back, probably not though. Too many other places in the area.

I’ve been here 3 times and each time the staff are over the top hospitable. They’re patient and give recommendations for their favorite things and seem genuinely happy to be there.
Their tater tots are great and you have a long list of creative dipping sauces to pick from (like sweet chili cream cheese or sriracha ketchup)
They can get pretty packed on fri/​sat nights, but if you come on an off night it’s super casual. Sometimes the lot across from them is closed for private events so you can either pay $ 5 for one of the parking structures or look for street/​metered parking. Great drinks, snacks, and ambiance! Trendy but not in an annoying way. Love this place!

We came here back in september for my wife’s birthday. We came around 2−3pm and we stopped in after a paint event. The place always has a great selection of drinks and food. But I distinctly remember it being scorching hot that day and this place only had a few fans running no AC. So everyone was just dying. I remember ordering a burger, fries and a beer. The cool think about the bar here is that they have areas on the bar that are marked and keep your drink cool. I just wished that they turned up the AC in this place on a hot day. But definitely a good hang out spot for friends and drinks.

Lately I’ve been re-​evaluating how often I give out five star Unilocal reviews and I think I might be a little too generous, but Congregation definitely deserves all five.
I really dig the theme and concept of the place. It’s got religious elements to it, but to me it feels more MMORPG-​ish, haha.
Initially I was worried about how expensive the food was going to be because of what I skimmed on Unilocal.I personally thought the prices were extremely reasonable and the portions weren’t generous, but they weren’t small either. The staff was friendly from the servers to the bartenders.
I hope I wasn’t the only one who did this stupid mistake. I basically ordered two hot dogs when I thought it was just one. I thought you picked whatever sausage you wanted and beneath those were different sets of toppings. In reality, they are two entirely different hot dogs!!! I ended up getting an spicy italian dog and a rapture dog. Both were really good, but I really didn’t need that much food!
If I didn’t live so far from Long Beach I would stop by more frequently, but now I definitely have a reason to go to Long Beach at least.

If it’s beer you are looking for, look no further… they have tons! The beer selection changes as do the seasons, but you will find something. They offer wine, liquor, and some strong house cocktails. The food is good, and made fresh. They get pretty busy so it’s hit or miss when looking for a place to sit, but if you get there early or go during the day you’ll be ok. Then again on nice warm days they get crowded. The staff are helpful when they aren’t busy, but you better know what you want when they ask you because if they are busy then you’ll be waiting a while for them to come back around. They can do a little better with organization on who runs what. The place is clean and offers something for every drinker. I am a fan and I recommend it to anyone.

It’s a pretty popular hangout spot on a Friday night. The outdoor covered patio area was packed since it’s so nice to sit outdoors during a ‘cool’ SoCal evening. There’s probably 4 large bench tables in the patio area and kits more seating indoors. Loved that the patio is dog-​friendly. My friend’s puppy sure got lots of attention.
The ribeye cheeseburger ‘Angeleno style’ was very good. The portobello salad didn’t look appetizing. Very extensive beer selection.

Just dropped in to get a couple beers and man was it a busy Friday night! There was a bit of a line to order drinks but it went by fairly quickly. There is a very large craft beer list … Soooo many options! I love having options. I didn’t get a chance to try any of the food but everything I saw coming out looked so good!
The service was great and everyone was so friendly.
I’ll definitely be back!

Cool atmosphere with more of a bar than brewery feel. Significant number of guest taps and a few house brews as well. Nothing exceptional on the tap list — other than a few good new SD breweriea. Mediocre mass belgians and some average lagers were dominant while I was there.
I had the zwolf weizenbock and it was ok. Flavors were a bit off — I think the yeast fairy may have flown over the batch and tossed in some funky dust. Also had the pretzel — dissapointing. More like dominos cheesy bread than a pretzel.
Not worth seeking out. But if you pass by pop in for a pint. See what they have.

This place always sets the bar high when I come here. The atmosphere is always chill and relaxing. The customer service is always on point. And their damn tasty appetizers and small bites always satisfy to the fullest. On the contrary, I don’t come here for drinks, although they look to have an awesome selection of beers.
I ordered their carnitas nachos. SUPER delicious! I felt as if the tortilla chips made the nachos much more flavorful. They seemed to have a homemade crisp and salty taste to them. Only thing is I wish they had served salsa instead of sour cream on the side.

Looking at my review a year ago, when I was highly addicted to salt, and a n00b to brews, this update is necessary…

Today we were in Long Beach so we decided to grab a drink at the place. It was my 3^rd time visiting here so I was familiar with the menu and everything.
I got my favorite LINDMAN FRAM ($ 9.00) which is a raspberry beer and my husband got the TADDY PORTAR ($ 8.00). I have always enjoyed fruity beers so ofcourse I would love a raspberry beer.
Why did I give 3 stars??? There are 2 reasons:
FIRST, there is no AC at this bar… It was so hot inside the restaurant… I felt bad for the employees that have to work in the kitchen…
SECOND, there are only 2 restrooms in the «Sisters» restroom and one of them was broken, which means that there was only one bathroom for the whole bar… This is not acceptable!
I really was miserable while I was there for half an hour… I doubt I will be back… I can go to somewhere and spend the same amount of money but enjoy my drink while the AC is working!

Buen sitio, barato, un montón de cervezas para probar. Pedimos unas hamburguesas para acompañar la cerveza y aunque parecen un poco pequeñas están muy ricas y la cantidad perfecta. Seguro que repito

Had this place bookmarked for the longest time since my friend Dora recommended to me, what convinced me to come here? Thanks to Joe p .
We were on the middle of deciding and we were going to go to Rock bottom but after reading friends reviews we changed our mind .
Sometimes you have to go to the place to be the judge but we were not in the mood for that .
Anyways we ordered the Ribeye burger which it was small very good the flavor was great, loaded tots i think thats what the girl said that was called haaa ! And yeah they were great with the spicy mayo and pesto ranch, rapture dog was very tasty and the wings were good but wayy too spicy for me :(.
We took 1 star because everything was very well from the very beggining til my husband went to close the bill and asked for a box but one of the bartender had an attitude who knows maybe the guy was having a bad night but everything else was awesome.
We will come back :)
