Description

Specialties

Café Piccolo is Long Beach’s finest Italian restaurant, providing a most intimate dining experience. We were voted as the most romantic restaurant in Long Beach.

Our beautiful décor and warm setting are the perfect environment for anything from a romantic meal for two, to a large personal or professional gathering such as weddings, wedding rehearsals, birthdays, graduations, retirement parties and any other occasion.

The setting is a wonderful start, but the food must touch your tongue before your mind will believe. Our signature fresh, hot bread brings our guests back time & again. Each dish is individually prepared to your request.

We are also known for our reasonably priced wine list and our wine tasting dinners.

History

Established in 1985.

Café Piccolo opened in August of 1985. In the last two and a half decades, it has consistently established itself as one of Long Beach’s most intimate, popular and romantic restaurants.

Tony, a trained Italian chef, was responsible for the eclectic Italian menu. Moe was in charge of hospitality and ensuring that each guest was a friend who was treated as though they were expected all day.

Café Piccolo has enjoyed the overwhelming support of the gay & lesbian community, as well as deep loyalty from countless neighborhood clients.

The restaurant has been written up by Elmer Dills and several other high profile publications, such as LA and Orange County magazines, and enjoys not only local support, but frequent visitors willing to drive all the way down from LA, Hollywood and south Orange county as well.
