I bought two pair of black uniform pants from this place, one was Dickies and the other was the«Boyle Heights Supply Company» brand. Within one week of wearing the Dickies pants I discovered a hole in the crotch area right under the zipper(very visible I might add)! Not like a regular hole as if the pants were too small and I ripped them but a hole as if the threading was shoddy and coming apart. So I ditched the Dickies and pulled out the back-up pants, the«Boyle Heights». To my surprise, those pants have a hole too! Right in the zipper! The zipper zips as normal but the hole is on the side of the zipper giving the illusion that my pants aren’t zipped and I’m intentionally showing my underwear to the world. Again, the threading is loose and doesn’t look well made. I know they don’t make the pants at the store but I’m starting to question the quality of the merchandise or maybe I can’t wear pants right. I don’t know. I don’t know if I’ll get my pants here again.

They always have all sizes in stock, I like dickies because they last for a long time. They even carry bag packs, belts and everything you need for uniform wear.

I went looking for uniforms for a ¾ year old. If you have a child that wears a size 6 or smaller, you’ll find a very very limited selection. The smallest size they carry in kids is a 4/XS and mainly carry it in dark blue, white, & sky blue. This place would fit in perfectly in downtown LA garment district. The workers act like they are doing you a favor and don’t acknowledge you. The guy working the floor helped when asked. You’d think he just woke up though. The lady behind the register doesn’t say much. She only told me my total and bagged my clothes. So yeah, a 1 star for location & decent store, 1 star for having something I could buy, and 1 more generous star for a no hassle experience.

If it is a Dickies clothing you are looking for this is the place, all the sizes and colors you can thing of. There is not a wide assortment of styles, and what they do have is plain, but if you are looking for a particular color in a particular size this is the place and you can get it at a great price. Ideal for school uniforms, they have all the sizes in all of the color almost anytime of the year. The only downsides are they don’t take returns, the fitting room just have sheets as a privacy curtain and if you there with someone there is no place to sit down. This is not a place to shop but it is the place to buy clothes.

Great selection here! I looked all over town for a certain brand and color of a shirt, and this is the only store that had it! Being a screen printer, it’s rough when I mess up a shirt and have to drive all the way to my supplier in L.A. to replace it. Having a supplier right here in Long Beach with such a huge selection is great, and I will return many times. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because they do not give price breaks when you order in dozens(while most places do). But when you need one or two replacement shirts… come to BJ Clothes on the corner of 7th and PCH.

Buyer beware! No refunds… only exchanges. Bought a pair of Dickies as a present and went back to exchange them for a different size and style. The new pair was $ 3 less and they would only give me a friggin’ credit. I’ll never shop there again and I wouldn’t recommend buying anything as a gift at this store either!!!

Halloween 2009. No costume ideas at all come to mind. Then it hits me, the BJ Clothes Dickies outlet has everything I need to make this Halloween a success!(I got some neon green scrubs and went as a doctor!) When it comes to a Dickies outlet, this is my trusted source. When I’m in a jam and need some crisp, clean undershirts — this is the place to go. The staff are generally friendly(although they follow you around watching to see what you steal). They have everything from t-shirts in ALL sizes and colors, to jackets, scrubs, boxers, wallets, school uniforms, and even socks. Prices are very reasonable, and they’re open til 8pm on most days. Not bad, huh?

This place rocks! I can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed it yet. This has been the ‘go to’ place for my boyfriend and me for years. When he needs a last minute t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt in XXL or XXXL, we know we can count on this place to have it in just the color he needs — and at the right price — and with a matching letter belt and shoelaces! Like Amy K. said, they have a good selection of Dickies, too.

I would second so much of Amy P.‘s review that mine is almost not worth writing, but, uh, my fans need it, Yes, fans… well, Amy didn’t mention that the sign now says Pacific Coast Clothing. Their receipts still say BJ, though. This is a 5-for-$ 10 t-shirt store, and I love those. That price actually refers to kids’ shirts(some even have Jesus logos), but adult shirts are only $ 5 each in plain colors, and there are a lot of colors to choose from. Sizes run from S-5X. I got a kids’ XL shirt(no design on it) ’cause I haven’t grown since sixth grade, and it was a measly $ 2.29, which is totally worth it if you need a shirt to cut up or decorate for roller derby(or whatever), because who cares if you ruin it and need another? This is also a Dickies/school uniform dealer, and you can get any style of Dickies you could possibly want, and I think it went up to size 48 waist. I saw some fun ones in hot pink with stripes for little girls, but alas, not for big girls(my ass has grown since sixth grade). There are also tons of polo shirts, and on top of that, sweats, b-ball shorts, hoodies, tank tops, and even packages of socks and underwear. Plus men’s jackets, scrubs, and sweatshirts. AND shoelaces, in many colors, to match your new shirt. Now I want more shirts.
