If I can give 0 star I would. This is the worse BofA.
Sadly this is the closest to my home. ATM machines are always out of service. Save yourself the time and trouble travel that extra distance and go to another BofA.

There are more than 30 people in line and only TWO cashiers. I had enough time to get pissed off enough to download the Unilocal app and write this complaint. The person in front of me is handicapped is complaining about his back from standing so long. I have been here THIRTY minutes.
And still have people in front. Now we are down to one cashier.
This is totally UNACCEPTABLE.
**Update** Took me 45 minutes to get my check cashed. They have two parking lots, one with about 35 spaces and another across the alley with another approximately 40 spaces. The reason they need such a huge parking lot is because the frickin line inside is so damn long.
TURNOVER Bof A TURNOVER.
There is no excuse for having two telleers at 3pm, and then CLOSING DOWN ONE MORE TELLER. One teller to help thirty people.
When I asked the teller why the line was so long she said it was because it’s the first and people are cashing their checks. Uhhhh no it’s not, it’s the third and if you know you get more people because it’s the beginning of the month,
SCHEDULE MORE TELLERS.
The reason I see that they don’t have sufficient staff is because this is an immigrant neighborhood. When I go to the branch on Bellflower, there are usually more tellers than customers.
I have accounts at BofA and at Wells Fargo, I never have this problem at WF. NEVER.
Closing my accounts at B of A tomorrow, Wells Fargo is farther for me but I can drive there, stand in line, drive home and still spend less time than at B of A.
Bye Bank of America.

This place is soooo bad! I’d avoid if you can unless you like long lines and shitty results. They couldn’t verify a check from their own bank!

If there is zero star I’ll give to this bank. So slow, long lines not enough teller. All the negatives to have in one bank. they got it. I’m not going to this bank again.

This place is always SO slow! They usually only have 1 or 2 people working the counter and about 20 people in line. It’s a really dated building and not very clean inside. Parking is also a challenge. I would suggest goi g to a different location of possible.

Service was good once you were speaking to someone
During peak hours, it can take some time to get help
They have parking for 30min free which is ok as long as there are no lines in the bank
overall decent experience

So on a Tue at 2:00 you decide to have only one teller on really BofA really??? Why is it that every time I go into a bank of America branch it looks unorganized and folks look lost. I asked the gentleman why they had only one teller working, he said they are all at lunch. Anyway to say the least Kevin ended up helping me out. He was really helpful the only reason why I even gave them two stars. Thanks Kevin.

A lot is truly left to be stated when a bank closes up the ATM machines located upon their exterior adjacent front entry at dusk… and set their ATM prompts to begin relocating bank patrons across town to various other better suited locations.
Question: HOW IN THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH YOU HOLDING MY MONIES IF I CAN’T & DON’T DERIVE COMFORT WHILE WITHDRAWING IT???
Located on Cherry & Anaheim, this bank is the very reason why Vicodin was invented and while I live closer to the Belmont Shores location, like everyone else, every blue moon or so, on my forage up to Signal Hill for one reason or the next, I’ll find myself bypassing this place compelling me to stop off briefly and withdraw cash.
My most recent visit however, required me to actually go inside. For some odd reason, despite speaking w/​Customer Service 48 hours prior and «resolving things» with them for the better portion of 45 minutes over the phone, I woke up Saturday morning to make a deposit and noticed my account was CLOSED.
Stopped by here thinking I’d be in and out with, if anything, a credit to my account, for the inconvenience in mixing things up yet sadly, upon pulling up I noticed a DMV line had formed at a ¼ to 9am and the parking lot was already jammed.
Upon parking (and praying) patiently (from within my car) I waited for the place to open up only to be seen by a nice but inefficient bank teller who couldn’t offer assistance in resolving things. I was referred to a «banker» of Korean if not Filipino decent (whose initials are «N.M.» to further break things down), who reluctantly took me aside to her desk then proceeded in requesting my account information.
She then, went on to repeat said account information… and various other additional forms of my personal information back to me AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS as if she were competing within a vehement ventriloquism competition of some sort. By no means do I possess phonophobia but this broad may as well have grabbed a bullhorn!

Seriously. Was her goal to throw her voice from one wall to the next, further highlighting her deficiencies to each and every customer within the already jammed pack establishment??? Better yet, perhaps she just thought passersby would benefit from hearing my account balance… Is this cultural? Was she hearing impaired? WTF?
When I brought to her immediate attention just how damned LOUD she was bearing her access to ALL of my personal information in mind…, her response was that «she gets this type of reaction from people all of the time» and that she’d been in banking for several years and this was just how her voice was… she was naturally a loud person.
Uhm… Okay. So, would the bitch slap I was led to contemplate providing her be considered a «natural response» too then? — Just curious.
I mentioned to her that maybe… just maybe, customer service wasn’t her forté but not before she informed me that she was unable to offer assistance and AGAIN, I’d been misinformed as I’d need to contact the Customer Service Department by phone to adequately resolve things.
Bank of America GET IT TOGETHER! Smfh. I deem this to be a completely avoidable absolute waste of my time!
Word from the wise: If and when you find yourself in this nape of town… lock your doors and speed the hell up!
Fresh & Easy is right up the hill and you’ll be free to get cash back there simply from purchasing a Red Bull or pack of gum… in an area not requiring the need of a bulletproof vest and in this case… ear plugs.

As a former bank teller, I fully understand that the 1^st of every month is one of the busiest days… if not THE busiest day. What I don’t understand is why there are 15 windows and only 3 tellers working. This is completely unacceptable. I’m usually not one to bring up issues of social class, but I do feel that due to the demographic it probably has a higher volume of customers. Perhaps if this were a different location with the same volume, they would provide the necessary amount of tellers to handle the increase in transactions. I’m not familiar with BOA from an employee stand point, but I would assume that the company has floaters (tellers who float to different branches depending on the need). I have read the previous comments on this branch, and it is obvious that there is a problem with the long lines and tedious wait times. I really hope the branch manager or someone with power really addresses this matter in the near future.
Side note:
I want to commend the tellers for their great customer service, despite the shortage of help.

I have a business account with bofa and every time I come here the merchant line of 1 or 2 people ahead of me is always always slower than the filled up regular line. I’m sick of this. Step your game up bofa! I can deal with the parking but this makes me want to throw feces!

Closest to my house. Always packed and the lady told me there «never going to stop holding my money» for 7+ days. Wtf? I don’t even have bad credit. Hate this BofA

This BOA is the closest to my house. However; the service is super slow. I see there lots of windows but no one work. I suggest they put more workers at the end of the months, because most people will gonna come to deposit around those days or every two weeks. Right now I see they hire a parking assistance instead. Muhaha.

I wasn’t sure how to give this place 0 stars, so 1 star it is. This is the only BofA close to me, I don’t drive, AND I get off of work fairly late. It’s not on my way to work to it’s a struggle to go beforehand. If you were ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ then you’d fix your shitty ATMs. Thanks for the untold amount of late fees on my bills since I literally NEVER get to put my checks in. I don’t need your banking services, I need an ATM. May as well just take them out. I’ve also almost been hit by cars multiple times bc no one around here seem to have ever learned to read, or figure out their left from right. Shady people literally ALWAYS here, not even asking for change most of the time just straight harassing you because you’ve made better life choices than them. Shut this bank down and make it a food 4 less. Would be more appropriate.

Outside ATMs close at 6 pm. Also there is no drive through ATM. Maybe this is because all the tweaker’s standing at the ATM asking you for money. They’re fun at least.

Place is sh*t whole! Extremely understaffed and parking is insane. Took me 45 minutes just to get a temporary debit card. Never coming back!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Parking sucks here. I end up in an alley that my car barely fits down. ugh

Why doesn’t socal have any drive thru ATMs? Its the driving capital of the country. :-/

They need more staff here seriously. One person performed two jobs as teller and personal banker running in and out. If it wasn’t the only place available, I wouldn’t come to this location at all.

The tellers are nice but, parking is insane. There is nothing easy about getting to this bank. Not to mention also there is always a line inside and in from of the ATM. I am currently 30 + minutes in line now as we speak.
I go here often one time I left my sunglasses (that were really really expensive) at the teller window. I had to sit down and order a new debit card then I left. I called the bank back within 5 minutes of leaving and came back. No seemed to care or offer any sort of help on the situation.

I came here to make a check deposit via ATM. This branch seems hustling and bustling each time I have been here. For some reason, I don’t feel too safe coming here. Why? First of all, there’s a security guard standing behind me the whole time I made my deposit. Secondly, there are street vendors all over the sidewalk selling fruit, gifts, toys, etc. My feelings were quite guarded as I was there, so that’s probably the reason for the security around the ATMs.
The inside is always busy. There are people constantly going in and out the bank. It looks nice and clean inside… just like your typical bank. I get this awkward feeling that this place might get robbed anytime.
Anyhow, a bank is a bank. Just be careful as always, and be cautious and alert as you do your banking needs.
