Alexis Limousine & Sedan Service

Great customer service. We called to booked and they took care of us right away. All the drivers are always on time. Never had any issues. Definitely recommend them.

Alexis car services were excellent, from booking online to the end being dropped off. We did round trip car service from Orange County to LAX and back. JR was our driver, and he could not have been more attentive, on time, and helpful with our luggage. He was there to pick us up upon our return, and even though we were 30 minutes late clearing customs he was ready when we were ready to be picked up. Cars are very clean, professional, and comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend Alexis to all friends and family. They are now our choice of transportation.

I wish I could say this service was great. But I was left hanging by the driver after I waited 30 minutes for him to at least return my phone call before I had to get a taxi. Very disappointing, I never got left behind by any limo service except for this one. Maybe it was the driver, he needs to be fired. The company dispatcher couldn’t even reach the driver for me while I was stranded at a restaurant looking like a fool in front of my client.

Did not have a great experience. Had a reservation for a pick up from a hotel to dinner last Friday evening. Of course, trip prepaid. (Even had to fax them copy of credit card which is «old school.»)
I was there 3 minutes before the appointed time and texted them that I was waiting at the front door.
Driver ended up being 20 minutes late. As it turned out, they sent a substitute driver (who was great, by the way.)
However, from a customer service perspective, they get a «Poor-​Fair» rating.
Why?
1. No one reached out to me to advise that the driver was going to be late. They had texted me a few days earlier to confirm the pickup. They had easy contact information. In my view they should have reached out to me as soon as they knew no one was going to be there at the right time.
2. When I texted them they did respond and told me the driver was «stuck in traffic.» OK, I get «stuck in traffic» for taxi cabs but not for premium priced limo services where the idea is «I don’t have to worry about them being there on time.» Traffic in Long Beach on a Friday evening? How surprising could that be? Plan for it. That’s why I pay a premium price.
3. When they texted me (after I reached out to them first) they told me the driver would be 10 – 15 minutes. It was 20. Seem like a little thing? It isn’t. With GPS technology they should have known the exact time.
4. Turns out it wasn’t traffic at all. When the driver arrived he told me he was the substitute because «the first driver didn’t have the right directions?» What? Directions? This was from a Hilton hotel right in downtown Long Beach. Don’t all the drivers of high priced limo’s have GPS’s. So, they weren’t straight with me.
5. The worst part of all of this, from a customer service perspective? No follow up from them. No «we goofed but this happens only 1% of the time.» No offer of discount for the poor service. Not even a hand-​written note. Not even a text later.
Had they not already had their money I would have taken a different limo. There were plenty trolling around the hotel.

We used this service on both legs of a commute to a cruise out of Long Beach. With 4 women on a 1-​week cruise, we ordered an SUV at their suggestion. On both trips to & from the cruise terminal, the drivers popped open the back of the SUV from the inside of the cab instead of taking the time to walk around the back to open, causing some of our luggage to tumble out of the SUV and onto the ground. On the return trip, one of my bags that was hand-​carried off of the ship fell to the ground and as a result several of my ceramic souvenirs were shattered to pieces. The handle on one of my mom’s bags was also damaged a bit. I sent Alexis Limo an email & I was told that they are not responsible for luggage damaged during transit (even though they stacked it in their SUV) and that they would refund me the driver’s gratuity if I requested it. Instead of insuring me that the problem would be rectified for future customers, I was asked to make the decision to take money from the young driver that probably needs every cent he earns. I never asked for any refund to begin with, and they never took responsibility for their driver or his training. I got a phone call from one of their reps that made me feel even worse than their email response did! The drivers were punctual & friendly, but I cannot recommend this company due to their lackluster «post transit» customer service.
