A & A Towing

Very prompt! I called them because someone was parked in my parking space. The guy told me 15 minutes or less and a friendly man arrived 15 minutes later. Quick and painless… and now I have MY spot back.

My car decided to die on me on my way back from a buddy’s house. Didn’t think I was going to be able to get home, but I called A & A towing and they took me all the way back down to San Diego at a pretty solid price. The truck driver was respectful and made the ride rather enjoyable, even tho my car was still broken down. Dropped my car and I off at the shop in the afternoon and I got my problem fixed in a mater of hours. Beautiful job done by A & A Towing

Had to leave a review cause I have never deal with a more professional company before. While on holiday, my family and I got a flat in out rental car. With in 15 minutes of calling the driver was there and changed the tire in no time. Being I explained to the very nice dispatcher that it was a rental, they contacted avis and the bill was taken care of… Awesome service

I came to Long Beach from Connecticut to buy a car and visit my cousin. I purchased a car that required some mechanical work and called around for a tow truck. These guys really helped me out. Dependable and great guys!

A great company that takes advantage of towing cars in parking lots that have signs containing veiled language regarding the enforcement of particular parking lots. If I was lazy and didn’t want to contribute in a meaningful way to society I would be president of A&A Towing.

My car broke down on a busy street in the middle of the night a few nights ago. The guy showed up almost immediately and was such a great help. He moved my car out of the street to check it out, then towed it to my destination. He was really funny and friendly the entire ride and offered to drop me off at another location. We had no issues and he actually made my crappy situation a little better. Much better than many of my über drivers. haha

wow what a company i hope they go out of business !! i just spoke to «Sunny «and he was so rude i was trying to tell him there is a car behind mine in the alley and he kept saying he needs the manager from my building to call, she has nothing to do with that parking lot space at all. He left me on hold while he answered another call just left me on the phone and didn’t even say give me a second or please hold. Who’s the owner of this business where are the customer service? and if he couldn’t help me he should be nice enough to at least hear me out or maybe directed me to someone who could. Im an insurance broker and i will never work with this company nor send them my customers !!!

I managed to leave my dome light on and killed my battery over the Christmas holiday. I have an electric car so I had to have my car towed to the dealer to reset the battery. A & A came quick even during a busy holiday weekend and kept me abreast of their time of arrival. I live in a high rise and our garage is difficult to handle just driving, let alone trying to tow a car. The driver was simply expert, I truly was amazed at his ability to navigate the sharp turns, low ceiling (6’6″) and other parked cars. Towing your car sucks, but they got me to the dealer when 2 other companies could not handle the job and really made the best of a crappy situation. I would use them again if I ever found myself in the same situation.

I called for a tow, they said it would be 50 minutes. A little under 2 hours later, still a no show. I ended up cancelling.

They towed my brand new 2015 a4 when I parked at Vons overnight. They wrote on the invoice that there were scratches all over 90% of the car. These guys have no integrity they were just covering their ass my car was brand new and recently waxed there are no scratches dents nothing…

My encounter with this business began sorely, but the GM promptly went to work on resolving the issue, representing a good business practice.

Felt like an idiot when this happened, but I locked my keys in my car while it was running. Don’t have AAA, but thank God for A & A, these guys showed up within minutes and unlocked my vehicle for me. If it weren’t for them, I probably would have broken my car window. Very pleased with their service overall.

What a great experience! i was broke down in Long Beach and needed help getting my car to the mechanic to fix it. I wasn’t sure if it would move to even get towed.
i called A & A towing and a nice voice answered the phone and put my anxiety to rest right away. They knew right where i was and had a truck to me pretty quickly.
The Tow truck guy was so nice and actually took the time to calm me down as he could probably tell i was nervous being out there on the street.
Long story short my car made it to the mechanic and i made it home safe and sound. best part it didn’t cost that much either!
I highly recommend this company!

I was reading through the reviews and there seems to be a common thread. Most people with negative complaints, didn’t pay attention to the posted signs or knew they were illegally parked. Nearly all of them have a story, «I was only there for 3 minutes,» I didn’t read the signs,” or «they should have seen that I was helping a handicapped person across the street» (from where they were illegally parked). Which part of the sign did these people not understand?
My own personal experiences are…
Towing with A&A, becomes problematic at night. Dispatch frequently drops the ball. Dispatch doesn’t know who has an account or who doesn’t. They don’t know the difference between a fire lane on private property or the difference between private and public property.
When busy, they advise you to call the city’s tow service. THE CITY DOESN’T TOW FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY, THAT’S WHY WE HAVE YOU!!!

I would give 5 stars but you know, you guys towed my SUV!!! I parked in someone else’s space and was gone for 60 minutes. I couldn’t believe I got towed. That’s never happened before and I do that all the time. Not really a lesson learned except don’t do it in Long Beach. But the good news, working with AA Towing was a blessing. They were extremely helpful with me being from out of town and they made a miserable experience one that was bearable. I appreciate a business who cares about there customers no matter how they get them lol.

Scratched my brand new 2014 terrain. Had a handicap plate card up in rite aid parking lot and they are a horrible company

I don’t know about all these bad reviews that’s y I was hesitant on calling them at first but they were great! Polite and helpful over the phone and very prompt. Kilo I believe answered the phone and gave me a flat rate of $ 60 to get my car out the police impound. I had a different towing service at first (Johnny’s towing) rude and gave me the run around I don’t know how his Unilocal stayed at such a good rating. Anyways My driver bravo was really nice and helpful. This company derserves more stars! I would definitely call them again when I need help.

UPDATE: When I picked my car up, I noticed damage to the front bumper. I made sure to take pictures BEFORE driving off the lot. The picture had clear markings from the cross shaped tow thing where it accidentally dug into my bumper. After 5 moths of pursuit (incident happened in April and got final word today, November), I am told they are not liable since it looks more like curb damage and the guy who towed the car is no longer with the Company. WHAT BS?!! I blame Camden Harbor View for all this non sense as they should have mediated my complaints since they work with these guys and I am a tenant there.
Bottom line is this. Make sure you video record everything you say and do since these folks are just liars and cheats. They bribe and swindle because they can. Take pictures and CAREFULLY inspect your car before driving off the lot even if its late at night and the tow guy says he can’t get the light to work… which is BS.
