Inexperienced tow truck driver damaged my bumper by over tightening the tow hook. Owner not only refusing to accept responsibilities of his employee but was aggressively rude and accuses me of trying to get him to repair my bumper. Will be filing a case with the Better Business Bureau.

Due to a problem with my radiator and thermostat I needed another tow (different car). Got really quick and great service from Alex. Under the circumstances, I felt great and at ease just by talking with Alex. No need to keep looking elsewhere, if you need a tow just call A&J Towing. Great people, friendly and professional. Thanks compa.

Step one: Just call this place. Don’t look anywhere else. They are awesome and their rates are extremely reasonable.
Step two: If he is available, ask for Alex. If your car needs a tow, there is nobody better. He is down to earth, funny as hell, and super friendly. Just an overall awesome dude who will make you forget the disappointment of needing a tow.
Step three: rinse and repeat as necessary when you have car trouble.

Hands down THE best customer service! My boyfriend and I had problems with our car (fuckin tire flew right off the car) and the driver got there within 10 – 15 minutes! When he got there he checked out the car and damage… Told us what happened and why it happened. Took us to the shop where we wanted but we decided to take the car to the bfs house! he was really patient with us… Very easy going!

The worst tow company! Towed my car to the wrong location, had my mechanic not called to find out the status on my car I would not have known my car had not been taken to them. Called A&j Towing and the person I spoke to said the driver had dropped off the car to the location I told her it had not, she then called the driver and he told her he dropped off the car at the wrong location. Then Andy gets on the phone and is rude and yelling at me. I asked him what he was going to do to compensate for the vehicle being delivered to the wrong location, had my service location not called I would have not known and he said we will pick up the vehicle and deliver it to the correct location. We will not compensate you and then proceeded to be rude and yell at me the customer even though his driver delivered my car to the wrong location. He is rude and has no customer service experience to talk to customers. After his driver delivered my car to the wrong location. NEVER USE THIS TOW COMPANY!!!

A&J was awesome. My truck had a bad fuel pump and didn’t want to crank on. They sent a tow truck to pick my truck up and took it to their shop and got it fixed within 3 hours. They only charged me $ 25 dollars for the tow and was very reasonable on the price to fix my fuel pump. At least $ 200 cheaper than other places. Highly recommend you check this place out. I’m referring to the Mechanic shop and not the towing service. I think they work together.

Alex came out today and helped me when my parking brake was stuck. He was able to release the brake and I didn’t need to be towed which saved me a lot of money. Thank you!

My car overheated and when everything seemed to go wrong I found Andy here on Unilocal and he came to rescue me in less than 20min. Being from San Diego and having ur car break down in a unfamiliar area of LA can be a little scary so I was very happy his truck showed up right away. We took my car to his partner’s shop and then he gave a ride back to my friends house saving me a taxi, which was really nice of him. My experience with his mechanic wasn’t the best but when I called Andy to complain about it he was so attentive and caring that he himself went to the mechanic to test drive my car and hand it to me when it was ready. Thank you so much Andy!!!

Andy was fast and helped me out, pretty much saved my vacation and life.

So I called AAA they told me my estimated time was 30 minutes I was stranded in Gardena then they called me back told me California towing was going to be here in 15 minutes they never showed up so i decided to go on Unilocal found A&J towing they showed up in 15 minutes. Andy the driver showed and was very polite and professional. He Towed to my mechanic in no time A+++++++ service. I’d recommend A&J towing to anyone.

Horrible service. Very rude. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to use a&j towing. Never again high prices and rude people.

We hired A&J towing to transport our vehicle from their storage facility to the mechanic. They instead drove to the wrong address and decided the mechanic must be closed. They did not call me. They did not call the mechanic. Instead, they returned my vehicle to their facility, and charged me for 2 extra days of storage.
I have confirmed that the mechanic was open and staffed when they say they showed up — I had spoken with them myself that same day. I also would not have approved even one extra day of storage, but was only informed of the issue two days after the fact.
When I called A&J to try and resolve the matter, the receptionist/​dispatcher (Reina) screamed at me, called me profanities, and indicated that she would «fuck me like a bitch.» Unilocalers, I assure you that, though I was upset, I did not insult her. Her explosive defensiveness was awfully suspicious, as if she know they tried to cheat me, and was upset I found out.
This is criminal, and A&J Towing is currently the subject of an investigation by my insurance company. In the meantime, I implore you, reader, to find another towing company. We simply can’t abide this sort of behavior.
