99 Cent Only Store

Went to the store to buy 2 four packs of cream soda and a few other items. The cashier named Daniel scanned each can causing me to be over charged by 6 four packs. I asked why was he scanning each can. His reply was that each can cost 20 cents. I told him that no one else scanned each can as each four pack is 99 cents plus crv and tax. He said it doesn’t work that way. I gave up and told him to continue. I could not see the manger because I had to park in a no parking area as the lot was full. After arriving home I looked up the customer service number online. I called and spoke with Carla and explained what happened. She told me to take the sodas back with my receipt for a refund. Luckily I got a disabled parking spot in front of the store. I explained what happened to the store manager who told me that Daniel was new. I got a refund for 6 four packs. I told the manager that I hoped this doesn’t happen to anyone else. The new cashiers need better training is what I said before leaving.

This is a nice store. 99 cent stores seem to be getting better quality.

I have an ex-​wife and an ex-​girlfriend who both love the 99 Cent Only Store, and when I say love that’s no exaguration. Being they are both exes, I haven’t been there in ages. I drove by there the other day and decided to stop. I’m glad I did. They have a lot more fresh foods and produce now. It aint Pavilions, but it’s relatively cheap and so am I.

Some of my favorite finds for a broke girl who enjoys a healthy meal.
1) Large bag of baby spinach. yum!
2)a huge bag of yams!
3) pacifc foods vegetable broth
4) thai kitchen rice noodle bowls mmmmm!
5) brown basmati rice
6) whole wheat tortillas
7) 6 kiwi for 99 cents!
I am always careful to check expiration dates though and have trouble trusting the dairy section because I had a bad experience with a cheese I bought there (it was a brand i had never heard of though) All the things I mentioned above though were great.
*They don’t always carry the same thing and are always getting new products so if there is something you really like I suggest you go back and stock up a bit.
Well… my cupboards are bare so guess where I’m going tomorrow?
