This place is a little burger stand in the near the California Heights area of Long Beach, most locals have either gone there to eat at least once in their life or at least driven by there. Their business hours are mostly during the day and closed at night and closed on Sundays. You’re probablly asking.“ok get to the point what about the food?” the reason I gave you the above info is because I want to make sure that you catch them open! because their burgers are the beezomb!!! for you that do not understand that expression, the burgers are great!!! the Turkey burger is my favorite, healthy and very fulfilling!!! They have this interesting burger called the Cubby burger it has sausage links on top of a juicy hamburger patty, one day if I am really starving I am going to try it(this baby is about 8 $bucks). Most of the burgetrs are about 5 bucks with 7 bucks you can get a tasty burger with a drink maybe, so make sure you take some extra change, its a little in the pricy side but once you take a bite you’ll forget all about how much money you just spent… well well worth it… oh my goodness… oh my goodness

Awesome burgers!!! Enough said… The burgers are juicy and fantastic also. I usually go to their location off Alantic but this place will do just fine :) they also serve fries at this location!

Many of these reviews are spot on in that Brandy’s is NOT the same as it was before. But it’s still good. The ingredients are fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The burgers are really tasty, and they’re happy to to tweak things for you(no onions, please). The fries are yummy, crisp, and plentiful. And the basic combo — a Brandyburger(no cheese), fries, and a drink — is right around $ 5.00 after tax. Even when it gets busy at lunch, they crank the food out pretty quickly. This place is absolutely worth the money. Even if it does leave you dreaming of how things were back in the day, try to enjoy the present.

Food was good. Service was fast. Have no real complaints except the burger was a bit too wet and dripped a little much for me. Otherwise taste was spot on. Fed my little family of 3 for $ 13 including a shake. Happy with the price. I’ll go again. And thought the fries were super yummy!

Oh man I just found my favorite burger. And it’s in a little hole in the wall joint. Tucked away in the corner of a parking lot sits Brandy’s burgers. The burgers are big and juicy. I’m talking napkin killing run down your arm juicy. And the seasoning is so spot on. With grilled onions It’s has to be the best burger in Long Beach. And the best part is it’s around the corner from my pad. Oh Brandy’s burgers I love you.

Our favorite burger stand, hands-down. If we’re going to eat a burger, this is the only place to go.

Wow! I worked at the lucky’s back in 1998, this is the only place I’ve ever eaten that has better french fries than Mcdonalds, if you like mcdonalds fries you would understand… I have my lady stop by and grab some fries from time to time for a snack. Very cute asian girls working here also and really Nice… thanks for bringing back the brandy’s shack

I remember this place in the mid 90’s being the best burger joint in the bixby knolls area. Since it’s now a new management, the burger & fries I got today wasn’t all that! The burger had no flavor and the fries were skinny. I was disappointed and should of known since it was empty during lunch. Just go to Fantastic Burgers instead to get your money’s worth.

Don’t know if anyone else noticed this but, the old amazing, mouth watering Brandy burger is not the same anymore! Not to mention that the new place added an «s» to the name which wasn’t there before. I have eaten there twice now since it’s been called«Brandy’s» burger and it’s not that bad but it’s not the same either. If your lookin for a just«ok» burger and don’t want to drive to in&out it’s not bad. The fries were good I though.

Wow, Brandy’s is back! After being closed for God-knows-how-long, Brandy’s is back. You want a burger, hot dog, patty melt, turkey burger, fries, ice cream, shakes or floats, this is the place. Enjoying a patty melt a few days ago brings back memories of CCD classes at St. Barnabas church and shopping at Lucky’s(before that damnable 99-cent store). Menu is pretty much like I described; burgers and a couple hot dog items. One, I think, is called the Cubby; it looks like a basic burger with a couple butterflied hot dogs. So, if you can’t decide between a hot dog or burger, get this. I had the patty melt which I felt had it’s good and could-be-better points. Grilled onions, check. Cheese, check. Two patties, yummy double-check. Rye bread, check, but could’ve been grilled rather than lightly toasted. Take a place like Dave’s on Wardlow/Atlantic and Tiffany grills hers, but you only get one patty, but Brandy’s still serves up a nice patty melt. I had my order for here, so I can enjoy the mid afternoon traffic on Orange while sitting on a prefabricated wooden park bench(even still had the lumber stamps on it and no paint or finish). My order came out on a couple sheets of burger-paper on a plastic tray. Looks like none of the fancy paper-wrapped stuff like from Mr. Pete’s just down the street. If you don’t want to order a la carte, get a combo(that’s what I did). Patty melt, shoestring fries and a Coke was $ 7.40. Their order window is really small, so the gal had to lean at a funny angle to take my order. Nothing really wrong with that, but it did provide me with a eye full of cleavage which was, er, uhm, nice.(ok ok, I’m a bastard!!) I’d give Brandy’s 4-stars, but I had to doc one for no Mountain Dew. Next time I might get a shake or a double turkey burger and see if that’ll bump ‘em up one star. Oh, snap! They’re open Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm, Sundays from 11am to 3pm and closed on major holidays. Someone finally got it right and put a nice map on the back of the menu(I like nice, accurate maps). No debit/credit accepted… cough up with legal U.S. tender.

In the mid 80’s, I used to go to Brandy’s 2 or 3 times a week, since it was down the street from my job. The burgers were the best I ever tasted! I went there two weeks ago, and was sadly dissapointed. The fries were decent, but the burgers had no taste at all! An alarm should have went off in my head when I didn’t see any people there. Oh well…

Getting closer to the best burger in Long Beach, Brandy’s Burger is the best CHARHUT type burger I have found. — «Brandy Burger» — Two burger patties with cheese and a middle bun. Genius. Burger comes with pickles, lettuce, tomato and dressing. The fries were fantasticly salty. The coke? Oh you bet it was good. All this from a crummy looking little shack. Next time you want a burger for lunch, get the Brandy.

When I was young, I can remember going to Brandy’s all the time after school and enjoy either a small bag of fries, or a nice, big, juicy Brandy Burger. A while back, I also enjoyed their breakfast burritos. However, attaining the all-mighty breakfast burrito was quite difficult considering they refuse to make them after 11am, and not a minute later. However, these are past memories. As of late, the quality of food at Brandy’s has declined. Now, the fries aren’t as good, and the breakfast burritos just leave you with a greasy mess. I admit, I still order food from them every so often, but only out of convenience since it’s close to where I am at most times. It used to be a great little burger place I could always rely on. However, the keywords there are«used to be». UPDATE10/11/2008: Despite the absolute AMAZINGNESS of this place, they have closed due to their lease being increased too much. Despite the fact this place should have been named a historic landmark by now, it is now closed, never to serve me a yummy Brandy Burger ever again.

This place has some of the best burgers in town. The large portions of flavor-filled food is what draws most people in. It is a tiny little burger stand that is easily overlooked, but this little stand packs a large punch of american goodness. They close early, and sometimes it’s hard to get a meal here because of their hours, but when you do, it’s like taking a bite out of fast food heaven

OG big time! Want something that is NOT Mickey Dees, Burger King or nasty-ass Rally Burger? This is the joint. A straight up old style burger spot that is still privately owned and slingin’ grease. This spot has been here for years and serves up a delicious pastrami and the chilidogs are good too. You just walk up to the window nd order. There are a few tables with umbrellas to eat on site or get it to go and gooble it down in your ride. Aaaah…it’ll bring back those back-in-the-day memories — straight OG food wrapped in goldenrod paper, soaked in grease while rolling in a 1960 Falcon. Good times.
