4th Street Vine

the waitress is very bad servece ！ i ask for napkin at least 3 times， she never give to me！ and i ask for water she never give to me ！ it’s awful ！！

This airport bar has a cool firepit outside, but it is very hard to get service outside especially if it is cold out. I’ve stopped here between flights multiple times and on ²⁄₂ it was a cool/​cold evening but patrons were perched around the fire pit so I thought I’d get quick service. Unfortunately it took 10 minutes to get a menu, another 10 minutes to get my glass of wine and then the server never came back during the next 25 minutes. I walked inside to ask for the check and saw the server having a good conversation with her co-​worker while other patrons also got up to come inside to pay their bills. Sorry, at an airport bar you must be quick and efficient. This place is hit or miss and at least tonight was a big miss.
Most 6 oz. pours are $ 9-​$ 14 and beer is available but pricing was unclear. Their menu had about 5 wines crossed off as unavailable.

GREAT venue, came here because of the reviews. Prices are decent for drinks. Ordered a chicken panini and an hour later was told they didn’t have any left… Would have been nice if they told me sooner (or compensated me in some way for waiting this long for NO food). Disappointed. Great for delays but expect slow, slow service. My wine alone took about half an hour.

Best airport bar I’ve been to… and I’ve tried a lot. It’s in front of terminal 5. Decent local craft beer selection, full bar, and lots of wine. Decent cheese plate. It gets my 5 stars because of the easy access to electricity ports at the bar.

This time I waited 20 minutes for service, it was raining but we still sat outside. I was very crowded inside but many empty outside seats. Waiter finally comes out I say I’ve waited 20 minutes already so I’m in a hurry now can I order drinks right away? Drinks NOT food. He says how long do you have…20 minutes. He says no way my bartender can get your wine and beer by then. So I say let me get this straight. An AIRPORT bar that supposed to understand people are traveling and may have only a limited time and sell only a limited selection of beer and wine can’t get me two drinks in 20 minutes??? Yup. Ok so I didn’t get a drink business lost $ 20+. 3 other tables overheard me and reiterated they had same experience. Patio fill w/​customers huddled under umbrella out of rain but can’t get a drink. I’ve been to many airports in my life and stood 4 deep at a bar and still had a drink in my hand in 5 minutes. Disappointed to say the least. Bartender was busy as jet blue had a cancelled flight and delayed flight in same area but still were not talking mixed drinks, beer and wine should be fast. Weather was bad so people were stressed, nervous about flying, and others annoyed, all the more reason for a beer or glass of wine. Guess not getting to drink beer I paid for is worse than not getting it so waiter gets a star for heads up. BUT if he waited on me when I sat down it would have been 40 minutes…
The have a monopoly though so sure like it or not I will return and so will others even if disappointed.

Place has great view and atmosphere. Service is terrible. Staff is clueless and overwhelmed. Have tried the place multiple times. If there are more than 5 customers at a time try somewhere else or expect bad service and a long wait.

Great place to chill before a flight! Super nice patio and good selection of drinks. Servers were attentive which is important when ordering food and/​or drinks before a flight. Loved the relaxes atmosphere and little patio to enjoy the beach breeze and plan trees nearby. This is a rare find at an airport!
Oh and I ordered the French 75 which was delicious! Didn’t even feel like I was at an airport ordering my favorite cocktail.

This place makes me look forward to layovers. We spent our layover relaxing on a lovely patio, chatting with the servers, drinking cocktails, and watching the planes take off while the sun set. It felt like we were already on vacation.

I haven’t been to the 4^th Street Vine on 4^th Street, and now I won’t bother. Come to the airport instead! They have ALL OF THE BOOZE here, so you can get nice and doped up before you sit in a cramped metal tube for a few hours.
The service here is GREAT, too. They were so observant — like when I was struggling to balance my wine and a few other things, they brought out a little folding table before I even had to ask. So nice!
I’m going to kick myself for saying this, but I almost can’t wait to go back to the airport!

This airport lounge/​bar has good service and makes good cocktails. I had the French 75 — being my favorite cocktail and I must say they did a great job crafting it. This was great way to spend pre-​boarding time.

Flight delayed on my birthday. Wife and I grabbed seat in the very comfortable patio. Orded a bottle of (extremely good for the price) wine. Sat in the sun. Kasey was so nice and fast. We kind of wanted the plane to be delayed even longer. Wouldn’t have been the worst way to spend a birthday. Thanks guys!

This place is a really nice spot to relax before catching a flight. Have a good beer or cocktail and enjoy the cheese plate. The plate was not huge, but enough to fill you up while you wait for a flight. I had a hanger double IPA and my gf had a grapefruit añejo tequila old fashion (very stiff). It was a nice way to get ready for a flight especially now that they only serve you peanuts. I saw other patrons ordering food which looked better than anything you can buy on a plane, so I suggest stopping by here before taking your flight.

Best place to wait for a delayed flight. The Long Beach airport has undergone a remodel and 4^th Street Vine is the best addition. My return flight home was delayed by an hour on a Sunday night and I noticed a fire pit that looked very welcoming outside. I grabbed a seat and a waitress helped me right away. They have an extensive wine list viewed via and iPad. I asked for a glass of sparkling and within minutes I was presented with a nice glass of bubbly.
They had a food menu that looked equally delicious but I wasn’t that hungry so skipped it. They had a big screen tv where I could watch the news or just enjoy the fire. The prices were very comparable to what you would pay at other wine bars outside of airports. The cozy atmosphere, excellent wine and great service almost made me glad my flight was delayed.

A great place to wait for the plane! Not a bad beer selection either. Sit in the open-​air area if you can — we got a great breeze and were very pleased when they lit a nice warm fire. =)

Totally Posh Prices… Its an Airport? Don’t get me wrong, The I-​pad menu was intriguing, and the décor was hip, but really? guess I don’t get it?

LGB has become such a boutique-​y airport. How did this happen?! I haven’t flown out of here in years, but based on my last experience, I will try to fly from here exclusively. 4^th Street Vine is such a cute place to lounge while you are waiting for your flight. There is lovely outdoor furniture, and they have firepits. When I was there, they had Old Rasputin on tap. I’m not sure if they rotate their draft selections, but Old Raspy is such a classic, I wouldn’t mind if that’s what they always had. When you come in, they give you the menu on an iPad. And the bartender was so friendly and delightful. I wish this place was open to the public!

Malbec and spanish cheese plate– cant be beat

Was so excited to see the renovations to the LGB. Flight to LV was delayed, so I had a chance to sit for a drink. Tried their sparkling Moscato (a lil bubbly for my bday!) and it was really good and not overpriced. I saw a display with desserts that looked really good, but I didn’t indulge. Maybe on the next trip?
Also, I noticed that they have outlets at the bar, which is always a good thing when you’re traveling.

Based on only one experience.
Great wine, great space, decent pricing.

The Long Beach Airport has long been the butt of all airport jokes. Really… there were bungalows as gates. It was ghetto beyond ghetto. I flew into Long Beach this past weekend and color me shocked. This place had a huge makeover. In fact, the airport is now so fancy that it has it’s own wine bar — 4^th Street Vine.
I was tempted to sit down for a glass of wine upon arrival but knew that I shouldn’t as I had a half marathon to run. Best believe that I took full advantage of the wine bar at my departure tho!
The bartender was super sweet and attentive but also let me do my own thing on my iPad. I went with the riesling and it was sweet as juice– just how I like it. I was impressed that there were outlets at the bar and the outdoor seating was so inviting.
I’ll be looking forward to paying 4^th Street Vine a visit every time I fly into Long Beach.
