Waxing the City

I came here for the first time and had a great experience. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and made for a good first impression. Alexandra did my eyebrows and they look fantastic. She was sociable and made the experience a warm and friendly one. The price was a bit more than I’m used to ($ 21 before a tip) but luckily your first visit is 50% off. Plus, they give you a cute goodie bag once you’re done with your services. I will very likely return.

Alexandria is fantastic. Friendly And efficient– relatively painless. ;-) She is wonderful– makes you feel so comfortable! The reception is very welcoming and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

I went to see Jennifer for the first time on 1÷31÷16 for an eyebrow and modified bikini wax and I could not be happier with my experience! I dread getting waxed but Jennifer made sure my experience was as pain free as possible. She was professional, offered suggestions and visited. I did not feel uncomfortable at all.
From the moment I walked in until I left, both Jennifer and the receptionist were very friendly and made my experience an amazing one!

I am super picky with who does my eyebrows. I see Alli at WTC and will never see anyone else if I can help it. She is very personable and always does a great job. The wax always seems to last at least a month till I need to come back and the shape is always on point.

I’ve been going to Waxing the City at Park Meadows since it opened. Everyone is great here. They are friendly and professional. Emily S is the bomb!

I had a bad experience here. I went in for a Brazilian & upper leg wax. She did the Brazilian wax and then started on the upper leg. The first few ones were pretty painful and then she did one that was excruciating. When I looked at my leg I had a huge bruise on it where she ripped the paper off. She said that she thought the wax temperature wasn’t hot enough. I told her just to stop that I was done with this. Then, in the room while I was changing and I looked at the job she did on the Brazilian and it’s like she did nothing at all. She was very apologetic and did discount my services; but I will probably not return here again.

Alexandria is fantastic. She is the first technician that I have made sure to remember her name and always schedule her for my visits. She’s fast, confident and a perfectionist. I’ve always been happy with my experience with her and schedule my next visit before leaving the building. I’ve been getting my waves from her for about 4 months now and I will continue to do so.
They’re automated system is great about reminding me with an email a few days before and when I’ve needed to reschedule, it’s been really easy.

I came here for a wax, I usually go to European wax ctr. The front looked great and the tech was very friendly, and so I left a good tip. When I got home I noticed a lot of missed areas. so I had the joy of driving there to get waxed then coming home to wax again myself. I paid for Double torture. Won’t go there again.

The waxing service was fine, good even. But they sent a post card thanking me and looking forward to my next appointment in the mail… Good intentions I guess, but I think a total invasion of privacy. Very off putting!

Excellent follow up from the manager and an offer for a free service to try them again. I’ll trust my lady bits somewhere else but definitely appreciate the follow up!

My mom, my daughter and went for Mother’s Day this year. Everyone was so professional and we were in and out in 15 mins.

Awesome, fast, friendly, and as painless as painless can get doing the Brazilian. The stress balls helped!

Ok, this was totally going to be a 5 star review, until they did my eyebrows. About 6 weeks before a beach vacation I decided to try getting a bikini and leg wax for the first time. I was super apprehensive but Emily was fun and made the experience easy and virtually painless (for the uninitiated, the lower leg wax actually hurt compared to the bikini which was much easier).
I then scheduled a follow up for a few days before my vacation as I was so please with the results of my bikini wax. The leg wax, not so impressed– it grew back faster than I expected and never felt 100% smooth. So, I decided to have my eyebrows waxed instead on this second visit. Again Emily did both waxes. Again, I loved my bikini wax, but on my eyebrows she went in way too far from center, like a full 1−2mm compared to the other. I hate when they show you a mirror and ask you how it is– once they take too much, the damage is done, so what do you say? I had her clean up a little around my arch and left. Only when I got home did I realize how pronounced the overwaxing on that brow was– almost embarrassing.
None of this means I won’t come back, which is why I’m still giving them 4 stars instead of less, but next time I will start with my telling her my bad experience to hopefully prevent it from being repeated. The other reason for 4 stars vs less is that it’s super easy to schedule online or over the phone, the facility is immaculately clean and bright, and so far the ladies I’m met who work there are all wonderful people. I’m chalking it up to a bad one-​time occurrence. And I will update accordingly after future experiences.

The most painless wax I’ve ever had. Not painless of course… but not as painful as virtually every other place I’ve been. Shelby was great and easy to talk to. I love that the price includes gratuity!

I fell in love with WTC back at their DTC location and was jumping for joy when they opened the Lone Tree spot — much closer to my home.
Not only is the location killer, but the staff is amazing! I was greeted promptly by a bubbly receptionist, followed by a Brazilian with Mirena — absolutely love her! She was very patient with me as I am pregnant — which was comforting! Honestly, the pain factor was minor and she is very thorough and detailed.
