Party City

I went in searching for some plastic tablecloths to do a DIY backdrop for a party. They were out of the colors I needed (black and gold) so I approached an associate to see if they could check other stores in the area (or in Colorado Springs) had it and he wasn’t allowed to check because his manager said «everywhere is out». I clarified by asking «You mean that every Party City in the state of Colorado is out of black plastic table cloths?» to which he responded yes and walked away.
I’m not upset that they were out, it’s very understandable. I’m upset that the associate refused to check. I work in retail management, I know how difficult retail can be sometimes. However, refusing to help out a customer is absolutely unacceptable. I was going to make a purchase with this store today, but chose to go elsewhere– in favor of a different store that would be willing to assist me when I have a question.

Great for Jell-​O shot gear. Also a great place for party cups for flip cup or any other drinking games. And kid stuff for days.

Looking for more costume stuff down just the things I need here this place it’s a definite come to you if you’re having a party of any sort

This review is more specific to the customer service I received.
I just finished placing an order with Miranda — over the phone. She is FANTASTIC! While I have placed other orders in store with them, or online, (all have gone well) I simply did not have time to place this order ahead of time. I called and asked if I was able to place my order over the phone for pick-​up later; she said yes (you just have to pay over the phone). Not only did she take my order, but she reviewed each item to make sure she pulled the item I requested. Then she went above and beyond by not only taking my balloon bouquet order, but then going through the store to grab a few other items I needed so that I could simply walk in and pick up my order when I arrived. I appreciated the time she took to ensure my order was placed correctly, as well as making the effort to get the extra items. THANKS!

This party city is just ok. I recieved great customer service over the phone. They are helpful, the store is slightly dirty, and all of the items are overpriced. I will come here if I need last minute party items as they do have a pretty broad selection. If you can plan ahead and get it from online I would do so…

I had an associate help me find what I was looking for, although she just pointed at the aisle where I found myself lost, yet again, haha. Party City stores just seem a bit… sad. I haven’t been to one in years. There was one section that I would definitely hit for a theme night; lots of cheap stuff (think goofy sunglasses, etc.) lines the entire back wall.

It’s convenient, fairly inexpensive and lots of selection. Nothing great or amazing, but I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve come here on a party supply mission.
Service is friendly, though never above and beyond.
Easy to find coupons too, just sign up on their website and they’ll email you one pretty quickly. Online store is pretty good too.

This is our go-​to place for any gathering and they usually have exactly what we need at reasonable prices.

At least 6 or 7 times a year I come here to pick up party supplies and they usually have everything needed to throw a kick butt party. The selection seems endless especially if you are throwing a fiesta, poker night or luau themed party. The themes for the children’s parties are the most current «it» characters and they have cups, plates, table covers and plastic ware in ever color imaginable. I like the new aisle they have with pick your own candy and toys to stuff goodie bags with.

I shop here for birthday parties, theme nights, Halloween, etc and they always have what I am looking for!
The serivce is always friendly too…
