Belly Up Spa

My wife and I went to Belly Up for our gender reveal ultrasound. The first time (at 16 weeks) was a bit early for the 3D ultrasound to really be worth it. The owner was nice enough to let us come back a few weeks later and do the 3D session again.
They were fantastic and really accommodating to our entire family (we had a big crowd for the first visit.) The second time, we had a different ultrasound tech that was even better (in my wife’s opinion) than the first. To clarify, there was nothing «wrong» with the first tech, just a different feel and technique from one person to the next.
We got some really great pictures from the ultrasound and my wife even went back for a massage on a separate visit.
I would highly recommend Belly Up to anyone wanting to do a gender reveal ultrasound. Well worth the price and for us, being first time parents, the experience was fantastic!

After my review back in March, Rhonda invited me back in and was very apologetic and sympathetic to what happened. I thought it was really kind and generous of her to reach out and offer me another spa day.
I came back in on October 10^th and I was scheduled with Natalie for a massage and facial. Prior to my massage, Natalie asked what areas I wanted to focus on and what pressure I liked. I told her I liked firm pressure and she was AMAZING!!! She’s very attentive, consistent with the firm pressure for the entire session and definitely made my list of Top 3 for best masseuse. Natalie also did my facial and I would say that I would have preferred to have a seasoned/​experienced esthetician. We didn’t really chat too much about my skin concerns and she didn’t really make recommendations or asked what my daily/​nightly skincare routine is.
I was scheduled with Alex again for my mani and pedi and she seemed to be more comfortable and took her time. I decided last-​minute to do a shellac mani since I was going on vacation and it should have only taken an additional 15 minutes or so (what she quoted) but she ended up going over by 45 minutes so my mani and pedi took almost three hours to complete. My mani chipped within the first two days (before I went on vacation) but overall, the mani/​pedi still looks great.
I’m glad I was able to come back in and have a ‘do-​over’ because it was a much more positive/​relaxing experience. Thanks again Rhonda!

I like the idea of this spa. It has a great atmosphere, and it’s clean. It is nice to have a spa dedicated to your pregnancy when you’re pregnant. However, I’m thinking I maybe just had 2 off experiences.
The first time I went in for a massage and a 2D ultrasound. At the last minute, I was changed from one masseuse to another. It was my first time, so I didn’t have a preference. I enjoyed my massage, however, when I came out to wait on my ultrasound, the owner (I think) asked me several odd questions about my experience. On my second time, I realized my masseuse was actually the receptionist. I didn’t have a bad experience, but I am worried that the person who administered my massage may not have been licensed. That was scary. The ultrasound was good, though I felt like the technician felt a bit rushed. She was lovely though.
On my second time, I scheduled a 3D scan and a massage. They didn’t ask me how far along I was which I realized is necessary info. The technician even thought that was weird, but luckily we got to see the baby. This time around, they had a training technician administer my $ 119 ultrasound. She did fine, and the other main technician watched her. However, I don’t know why I was the chosen client here again. The next two people after me weren’t trained on. So, anyways, that was fine, but then I went and waited on my massage. I was scheduled for 11:20am. Though the receptionist (my massage therapist the first time!) was very nice and tried apparently slipping a note under the door and offering to let me lay down in the room, at 11:45am when I finally met the therapist, I realized I’d be rushed and decided to forgo the massage.
I wasn’t charged for the massage, which the receptionist mentioned oddly (like, seriously, who would have charged for that?!) and I wasn’t angry. However, I don’t expect that I will be going back anytime soon.

Absolutely love this place!!! Everyone on the staff is super nice and welcoming. The owner is super sweet as well. I am starting to get addicted to this place since they have everything you expect from a spa under one roof. I have tried many of their services and have not been dissatisfied with any of them so far! Highly recommend this place especially if your pregnant, but im sure theyl be just as amazing post pregnancy.

Went to Belly Up for a prenatal pedicure and facial. Veey clean and friendly staff. The pedicure and facial were nice and the facility was very clean. Beautiful artwork inside from Contemporary Expressions Photography studio. Rhonda, the owner, introduced herself and made a point to chat for a few minutes. Conveniently located in Lone Tree. Great place for pregnant women to go for spa services without excessive exposure to spa fumes.

First and foremost, the pedicure and massage were fabulous. The people who work at this place really make pregnant women feel special and understand the aches and pains that come with pregnancy. I was blown away by how incredibly nice everyone was.
Secondly, I had a pedicure first and the masseuse let me know while I was having my pedicure done she was running late and asked if that was ok and assured me I would still get my full time with her. I said it was fine (it was Saturday so I was not in a hurry plus now I had time to let my pedicure dry). At the time my massage was supposed to start the owner and office manager (I believe this is who they were) apologized profusely. Again I knew she was running late so I wasn’t upset. They ended up comping ALL my services which was totally unnecessary and totally unexpected. My massage started 15 minutes late and the girl was amazing she actually did a deep massage which is unusual when you are pregnant. She also went over a little in time because I was her last client and she felt bad for starting late. I get the impression she runs over a lot because she really cares about the women she is working with.
Overall, all I can say is WOW customer service like this is uncommon and hard to find. This place is amazing I not only recommend it but I will be back after this pregnancy!

this was my first visit at Belly Up and all I can say is… WE NEED MORE PLACES LIKE THIS WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MIAMI, FL!!! These ladies are amazing! Claudia was so helpful and awesome! I totally recommend this spot for any occasion from mommy’s to be… to girls spa day! Best part they have wine! BRAVO LADIES! KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!!!

My infant, two toddlers, husband, mother, father, good friend, and myself all see the chiropractors and massage therapists here as well as nails. They are friendly, courteous and awesome. They do follow ups to make sire all is well. Always feel welcome here

My wife goes to Belly Up at least 1 a month. She loves it there and I love that she loves it there. She comes home with a smile on her face and tells me the staff and service there are incredible. Highly recommend this place to all the husband’s out there that want happy wives.

Had a great couples massage with my husband for our anniversary. Both of our therapists were great. We brought our one month old hoping that he would sleep, but when he decided to be awake the staff helped watch him so we could relax! Where else can you get that kind of service?!!

I had been to Belly Up Spa before for a baby shower and had a wonderful experience — the customer service here is truly white glove and second to none!
Today’s review is of their ultrasound services as I’m currently expecting my third little one. I took my sister-​in-​law who does not have children of her own and had never seen an ultrasound before. It was truly a bonding experience for us! The ultrasound room is amazing — you could have a party in there if you wanted! The bed for mom-​to-​be is so comfortable, the lighting is relaxing, and there’s a large screen for the «audience» to watch the little one kicking around.
The tech was great — she was giggling along with us about how cute the baby is and all the cute things she was doing. It was definitely warm and welcoming and made me feel like me and my baby are special. The pictures themselves are amazing — it’s mind blowing how much we can see of her features already — and how much she looks like her big brothers. We also got a DVD that I was able to bring home and watch everything again with my husband who loved it as well.
The whole experience made us even more excited to meet our sweet little girl in 2 months. Thank you so much, Belly Up Spa for another amazing experience!!!

I came in for a pregnancy massage and it was great! They don’t have a changing room with lockers, robes, sandals, and showers but they do have great massages!

I always leave Belly Up smiling ear to ear! I started going for prenatal massages and have now been seeing Dr. Victoria for chiropractic care. I always feel welcome when I walk in the door. Rhonda, the owner, is usually up front and is always friendly and accommodating.
Before each prenatal massage you have a foot soak which I always found relaxing in itself. Each of the massage therapists I saw were extremely professional and friendly. The massages have always left me feeling relaxed physically and mentally.
By far my favorite service has been the chiropractic care. After one of my prenatal massages Rhonda told me they were getting a new chiropractor and explained some of the benefits of prenatal chiropractic care. I saw Dr. Victoria the following week and have felt better ever since. She is so thorough and personable. The back pain I had been experiencing has been alleviated leading to much more comfortable days and much more restful nights. I’m able to get out of a chair after sitting for a while and walk normally instead of shuffling my feet from being so stiff and uncomfortable. I can’t speak to how the care will impact my delivery at this point but I’m hoping by opening up my pelvis more for baby to fit through I will have a pleasant delivery with little to no medical intervention. I will be continuing my weekly appointments until baby arrives and most likely after. My only regret is I didn’t start doing this earlier in my pregnancy!

I came in for a gender determination with my family and friends and they didn’t give me my heartbeat keepsake when I paid at the end. When I got home I realized that my bag did not contain the heart beat keepsake… just a few so so quality photos and some business cards. I called to find out what happened when I got home and they said they had been trying to call me because the ultrasound tech had it at the front desk and forgot to give it to me. Never got a missed call or voicemail from the spa that day. The owner then told me 2 weeks ago that she would mail it to me as I had not received it at my appointment. I contacted the owner yesterday to see what happened and she never mailed it like she said she would…2 weeks ago. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me ! I should have just waited until my 20 week ultrasound at University of Colorado Hospital… they offer 3D/​4D ultrasounds that I don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for! She dropped the heartbeat at my door today after several emails back and forth. Nice place but I won’t go back for sure… it wasn’t really worth it to me.

This place is great! My wife and some other family member spent the afternoon there today. The facility was beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We had 4-​d ultrasound there and I was blown away by the images produced. On top of all that, it’s a very warm, comfortable environment. You’ll love it!

Can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my visit to Belly Up. Rhonda (the owner) was at the front when I arrived ready to help me have a great experience and Bonnie did an incredible prenatal massage. The place is clean, price is affordable and the staff clearly cares.

First off let me say that I NEVER write reviews for anything. However Belly Up Spa was so amazing that I had to share this wonderful place with all moms out there!!!
I went here today to get an ultrasound and was greeted by the owner of the spa who was nothing short of delightful. She was so sweet and kind, making me instantly feel comfortable. Within minutes I was asked if I wanted anything to drink and felt like I had really entered a spa environment.
Ashlen was my ultrasound tech and she was very professional, warm, and so sweet taking her time to make sure I felt comfortable. She took me into the ultrasound room which was very calming with a large, high tech screen for my viewing pleasure. Luckily my little guy was ready for his close up because Ashlen got some amazing shots of his sweet little face. She took her time in making sure she could get all the right angles and took a precious picture of his hands and feet. Overall, Ashlen made my experience one I will never forget and I would highly recommend going to see her as she went above and beyond my expectations for the appointment.
The owner of Belly Up Spa was still there as I was finished with the ultrasound. She took her time in talking with me and was really very personal. I will definitely be recommending this spa to all of my mom friends as they do just about everything to make moms feel special. Next time I plan on getting a mani/​pedi and a prenatal massage! They even have a certified baby sitter in case you need to bring your little ones with you while you get pampered! Thanks Belly Up Spa! I can’t wait to return!!!

I went here yesterday for an ultrasound, very beautiful place, nice staff.
The room for ultra sounds is great, calming, room for the family, big screen to view the ultra sound.
Unfortunately, baby was not cooperative and we only got a very small view of her. She told us she’d reschedule for no cost, we go back Tuesday.
I’m impressed they did that. They have no control over what the baby does and can easily say, oh well, sorry, but they didn’t.
Also, the manager worked with us to customize the package, we wanted more time, but no dvd and it wasn’t a problem.
Hopefully baby is more cooperative next time, but will return and am interested in trying other services.
So I am updating this review, we went back a second time for another ultra sound, still nothing. Boo. But, the tech told me that the owner would give me a free massage since they couldn’t get any pictures of the baby!
I went for my massage yesterday, it was fabulous! I love the chic décor of the spa, they do a detox foot soak before massages, and Bonnie the therapist was one of the best I’ve had in a while. I like a firm pressure and she was perfect! I was very happy. I would have been happy had I paid full price, but even happier since I didn’t :)
Will absolutely return!

I had two prenatal massages and attended two prenatal yoga classes at this spa. It is a little bit pricey compared to the competition, but I really enjoyed my massages and yoga classes. The team working at the spa is very friendly and the customer service is great!

The owner did refund the money I paid for the ultrasound and I truly appreciate that. I never expected to receive that service for free, but once promised it was quite a disappointment when they called to charge me. So, thank you. Thank you also for looking into my other concerns. I understand build-​out is too large a change to make so early.
I’m left with a much better taste in my mouth, but I haven’t updated the number of stars because a spa is supposed to be a very calming and relaxing experience. When I go to Avalon Salon and Day Spa I leave feeling like a million bucks. I’m happy to shell out lots of money to feel pampered and well taken care of. The thought of going back to Belly Up just causes me stress. Honestly, I doubt most customers will have the experience I did and many of you will be very happy there. I wanted to share my experience so that you can decide for yourself.
