Round Table Pizza

Had the worst service here. My parents ordered a couple pizzas and wings and didn’t get their order, by the time a young man brought the pizza out it was an hour and a half later. The young man would bring pizzas to our table that wasn’t ours. When my parents refused the pizza (having lost their appetite) they asked for a refund, to which the manager was in my fathers face and told him he was lying about waiting that long for a pizza– the receipt said different.

I’m actually a little surprised that the rating is so low. Ever since I’ve been getting pizza here it’s been decent. It is solid pizza and usually they have some deals. At full price it’s a bit expensive for what it is but that’s Round Table for ya. I’ve tried just about all the other pizza places in town and although I like to stick to small businesses, I like this pizza the best for my money. I’d like to give the pizza buffet during the week a try, when I do maybe I’ll update this review but for now, a solid 3 stars. ( Unilocal LA Challenge #4 of 100)

Lunch buffet is a good time to stop by! It’s super busy, but good selection. Good job Round table.

Horrible pizza the crust was so bad it hurt my gums. I will never go back. I paid $ 38.00 for a medium one topic pizza and a large Canadian bacon and pineapple. If the food is good I don’t care I can pay but pay so much for something I had to throw away is despicable

Lunch special is very bad now. No wonder only 3 customers inside.

I love RT Pizza and this place is no exception. Staff is friendly and one of the employees even gave my friend and I free ranch. Restaurant is relatively clean and the pizza is delicious. I can’t wait to come back!

Well we’ve been back a couple times since my first review… and it is excellent every time. I cannot get enough of the pepperoni, mushroom and black olives. On a thin crust, pretty please, it’s our favorite!

Hi all im back its Manny the food n service auditor.
This tym on my knife n fork report we decided on pizza. I always loved round table ever since they were in the Kmart shopping center a thousand years ago.
So we go inside and place our order. Really sweet gitl taking our order. A pizza sandwich and buffalo wings to share and 2 all you can eat salad bars. Plus drinks. Csme out to 30 bux. Ok not bad we always spend good cash to make a rounded decision and fair report to u.
1^st when we got to the salad bar it was bad. All the dressings had a skin on top. Dressing 101 every time u pass by a sauce or dressing especially when in the public eye stir it. 2^nd all the veggies looked old and wilted. The lettuce had a brown edge and some was soft not crunchy. Everything there was not good.
Now chicken wings wer not hot they were luke warm. The skin was not crispy it was soft. Not a good idea for chicken wings. We left went n got some bergers. It is sad. I luv round table and when we saw under new management we gave it a shot and a fair shake.

This pizza was awesome! The crust was thin and perfectly cooked and had tons of toppings. The location was clean and the staff was friendly. I’d deffinitely recommend this place!

First time eating here pizza dough completely under done which was extremely surprising considering the fact that the pizza dough is seriously a 16^th of an inch thick. Staff are huge morons cannot take simple directions, no marinara does not mean ranch… Pizza is extremely overpriced for what you are receiving, your best bet is to go over to pizza garden. Should I really be surprised? Almost all of the food in Lompoc tastes like dog excrement.

Read reviews how it was under new management. Me being the pizza lover I am said of course when The Man suggested it for lunch.
First thing noticed was it was not busy at lunch. The young man working was polite but seemed liked he wished he was anywhere but there just going through the motions.
The Pizza was good not too much sauce, and had plenty of toppings. This was a plus.
The salad bar– the lettuce was beginning to wilt and was getting crushed and bruised.
There were tomatoes and lettuce in the cottage cheese, pineapple in the potato salad miscellaneous food all around the salad bar area. Food bits dropped into the salad dressings. I know I’ve forgotten some of the food faux pax however that should give you an idea.
They had 1 I say 1 person working the entire front section!
The pizza was lacking variety (there were 2 pizzas out) There was no dessert pizza.
There were what I saw a total of 3 people working. The manager being very rude when I told him the salad bar was disgusting he had the nerve to tell me not to mention it in front of other customers– and bring it to him alone next time. (FYI I don’t believe there will be a next time unless there is new management) Hello I did tell him & well guess what?! I told him keep a clean salad bar and their won’t be a problem. Yep, I did! Yep, there was a customer there sorry not sorry.
Other customers were looking at the salad bar with disdain. They just didn’t say anything.
He then tried to tell me it was clean and they had been very busy. Sorry– not sorry no excuse! (when we were in it was Not busy) As the manager he should have called in extra help if they were so busy they couldn’t keep things tidy and refreshed.
Overall it was not that clean either. There was stuff on the floor as well. The flooring also looked dirty or at least in need of replacing.
The Man was just oh dear wife here she goes again! I just wanted a quiet lunch lol!

This place is very underrated. I feel strongly that the food here is one of the best stops for Lompoc. The pizza is delicious and I recommend their chicken sub! I love their appetizers and I think their environment is clean. It also has an arcade, so it is pretty lively and big enough to hide from the arcade so that you can eat in quiet.

New owner! What a huge, positive difference. Pizza (large pep) was excellent. Beer was ice cold. Restaurant (and bathrooms) were very clean. Staff was very nice.

Came in on 4^th of July at about 2… Too late for the lunch buffet but the manager welcomed us in and made pizza just for us. I know this isn’t usually the case for most pizza places but this place is spot on and I highly recommend this round table.

Usually, we love Round Table. But when our pizza came over an hour late, we called and were told the guy had left 15 minutes ago (we live a half mile away). When the pizza guy came he did not ring the doorbell, but instead heard talk inside, decided it was negative and left with our pizzas. When I called they admitted to leaving, so I said thanks for NOT delivering a pizza, and called the Pizza Garden for better service. Without any warning, 2 hours after I had ordered the pizza, we hear a loud knock on the door. They were delivering the pizzas (the same pizzas?) again. We told them we didnt want them and they dropped the pizzas on the doorstep. Another call to them let them know we were not going to eat them. They were still on the doorstep in the am. I Will have to return the untouched pizzas to get our money back. Very Poor Service and big waste of time.

I’ve been here few nights ago after couple years. I was very surprised with the changes that made the place very clean and pleasant. The new management did very well. Food is great, place is clean and the staff are nice and polite. What do I want more???

I’m giving this place three stars because of the dirty tables when I walked in. Also I had to wait a while for someone to take my order, there was only one person working from what I could see! The prices are fair there was a special I think it was $ 22 for a lg pizza and A pitcher of beer! Later I saw a second person working! The stuff was very nice just didn’t like seeing dirty tables I had to clean the table that I sat down in!

Run! Run far away! Walked in and saw lots of tables with dirty plates still sitting on them, without a customer or worker in sight. Waited around for a few minutes and left. It felt like the start of a zombie apocalypse!

Went here because my kid’s t-​ball team decided to celebrate their last game here. Checked in with Unilocal and got a 15% off deal. Overall, the meal was $ 26 for a large 2-​topping with some breadsticks… Don’t know if the buffet is worth it (it was after buffet hours when I went).
The pizza itself tasted decent, which surprised me. Lots of cheese, spicy sauce, and crispy crust with fresh mushrooms. Breadsticks were overpriced (over $ 6). The $ 20 pizza was overpriced by about $ 5 IMO. They have 6 beers on draft.
Now let’s talk about what knocked this place down from 3 to 2 stars. Dirty bathrooms. Also, the bathroom itself had one toilet and one urinal (broken). The broken theme was evident in the «game room», which I dub the worst game room in America. Half the games were broken, the claw machine wasn’t even stocked, and almost all games cost $ 1. That’s right. Highway robbery, my friends. These weren’t even new games (see pics). There was a kid’s birthday party going on and they all looked like they just got beat with a stick. No one was having fun.
They had 4 different types of «broken» signs for the machines, which leads me to believe that they all have been broken for quite some time (the store has gone through several iterations of the notice).
Neglect is the one word that comes to mind.

I have done Round Table in other locales, and I generally like the pizza. Went to the Lompoc location for lunch this week for my first visit.
PROS: pizza at RT is consistent – this location has the home office recipe down pat; I was greeted by at least 3 staff members, and they came across as genuinely friendly; salad bar was fresh and didn’t have that «day old» look
CONS: cleanliness. Looks like the person in charge of floors is too lazy to move tables and chairs; the booths need to be scrubbed with some soap and hot water. .. soon!
I was prepared to give RT a 3, mainly because of the friendly staff, and the fact that the pizza meets the RT standard; however, the cleanliness variable outweighed the others…
