Excellent vegetarian food. Pleasant staff. Excellent service. Clean. I will go again to this restaurant.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a recent Saturday and the food was good and service was even better. They have the usual Thai dishes (satay, curries, etc.) and they have a patio area in front that is kind of cool. Overall, the food is good and you will come away satisfied.

Hot Pot, energy platter, Tom Kha for the win!
The portions of different meat are amazing for the price. $ 3 extra for the Tom Kha but it’s honestly my favorite soup base so I order it anyways. Strangely it doesn’t come with rice and a very limited amount of napa cabbage. No other veggies included. That’s definitely my biggest gripes about this meal.

Out on the town with my wife and a friend to sample this new place I had been to before when they first opened. And to my delight, they expanded their menu with additional Thai dishes to complement their staple of Thai Hot Pot.
Interior is nice with a covered/​sort of open air seating area. Service is quick, very warm and aims to please.
The food, excellent. Whether it is the Thai Hot Pot, the Mango Salad, the Thai Basil Eggplant, Chicken Wontons, Thai Iced Tea.. .all are very good and I believe a good value for the price.
Suki Time is one I would put on my FAVORITES list.

Standard Thai food. Fast, friendly service and a clean environment. Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai lunch special. Good value. The meal came with salad and and egg roll. Not a wow but good for a work lunch. Will come again.

Never had Thai hot pot, but it was pretty good. If you can get past their décor and the grittiness of the place, it’s very delicious and fairly cheap and even more cheap with a
coupon. The hot pot soup is flavored with a fairly concentrated soup stock from your choice all the thai mother soup (tom yum, tom ka, etc). And to add even more flavor, you need to try one of their signature sauces you can get at a kiosk at the far end of the restaurant.
Great service from this family-​run place. We also had the papaya salad and pad siew. Both very good as well.

Solid spot. Came here for a Mother’s Day lunch/​dinner mini feast.
* Can split the soups in half.
* Tom yum soup base is good and if you need more soup base, they don’t just add water.
* Meat plate came with some veggies inside to make it look like it came with a ton of meat, but the amount was still okay. It was fresh and didn’t look like it had been frozen long.
* Drinks are super sweet.
* Veggies were fresh.
* We had to ask for chopsticks.

I’m really glad to have discovered this place. Their specialty is Thai hot pot. 3 people in our party shared a dinner combo for 2 and had plenty of food left over. They had ½ Tom Yum and ½ Herb soup. Both were flavorful and excellent… Didn’t taste any MSG at all!
Their sauce bar had some excellent sauces as well, it has both sweet and tangy sauces. The recipe tastes like something that’s been passed down through the generations or something…
One person got Pad See Ew and I got the spicy eggplant. Both were really good as well.
The service was excellent and very helpful. They gave each of us Thai Iced Tea on the house! Overall, the food takes a little while, but for the freshness of everything, I will gladly wait! Décor is pretty nice too, they did a good job with the space they have.

My bf, dad and I shared ½ Tom Kha and ½ Herb broth along with 2 large sides of the meat platter (beef and pork) and some veggies (napa, enoki mushrooms, pumpkin, and tofu). Broth was delicious, my favorite was the Tom Kha, but not spicy at all! We ordered SPICY :(
Sauce bar was meh, peanut was lacking flavor. Seafood and ponzu were my choice of dipping sauce.
Service was slow, came on a Friday night around 6:30. When we first got there, only 1 table was occupied. The restaurant slowly had more guests. It seemed like there was only one waitress. She was never to be seen though because she was running back and forth the entire time. She did apologize and said the restaurant was getting «busy». To me, it didn’t look busy. But I give her credit because she brought us everything we asked for and refilled our water.
Checked in and received a free Thai Tea and bought the Unilocal deal $ 25 for $ 30.
It worries me that the waitress along with others in the kitchen wore sandals, I wouldn’t want anyone to slip and fall while carrying hot soup.

Thai hot pot, just how delicious that sounds! We wanted some spicy soup for lunch, Unilocaled this place up. Cute little Thai restaurant in Lomita, the outdoor seatings were very relaxing and comfy.
Menu has regular Thai and Thai hot pot items, decent selections of soup base and very vegan /​vegetarian friendly. Had a tall Thai Chang beer to start, it was very tasty, I like Thai beers a lot, so we had another one later on. Shrimp rolls with veggie tempura as appetizer, they were fresh and delicious.
We chose two soup base, spicy with herbs and veggie soup. I loved it they used veggie broth for adding more soup, not just hot water like Chinese hot pot places. Soups were very flavorful and tasty, so good! Hubby had meat plate with beef and pork belly, also egg noodles as well, I had shrimps, fish filets, veggies and glass noodles. The portions were big, we wouldn’t have be able to finish all of them if we weren’t so hungry. The best was the sauce station, loved the seafood and tiger sauces, they were bomb!
A very comforting and relaxing lunch, servers were very friendly and attentive, they gave us some coupons for next visit, how nice! We will definitely come back real soon!

I came to this restaurant for my friend’s birthday, which happened to fall during our Spring break. Since we came from out of state, I wanted to scope out the place. So, I called the restaurant about two weeks before I went and it sounded really great. Surprisingly, when I got to the restaurant the waitress/​owner remembered that I called. That was pretty impressive! And she is so nice and personable.
This restaurant has some great Unilocal deals to take advantage of (during the time I went). There was a pay $ 25 to get $ 30 worth of food. And there is a check-​in deal for free thai iced tea. There was no hassle redeeming these (which is such a relief).
Now, on to the food (hotpot)! My friends and I loved the food. We opted to get the chicken broth and the herb broth. Both were good, but the herb broth was significantly more flavorful. So, I definitely recommend you shell out a few more dollars for it (and they help you to refill it when the soup evaporates). Since we were in a group, we ordered the different platters they had (seafood and meat). They had a decent amount on it. And every platter came with napa, so we did end up with quite a bit (jusy fyi). We also ordered the swai fish, which was so delicious and tender. Ordering individual plates alongside the platters is definitely worth it so that you can have more variety and food. The food quality is really nice and tastes awesome. The self-​serve sauces were all very tasty. Definitely try all of them and see which is your personal favorite. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say.
Our trip here was a wonderful experience and my friends still rave about the thai hotpot we had. Give it a shot, I hope you won’t be disappointed!

This review is for all the Shabu enthusiasts looking for a place to settle down and call home for maybe 45minutes-​an hour maybe. Suki Time is a great place that hits me right in the gut while I’m craving Thai tom yum (That’s my all time favorite broth by the way)
This business literally screamed at me when I searched on Unilocal and it kept a high standard of 4.5 stars for over a 100 reviews. Great consistency in the service and food quality I would say.
My wife and I started off with a Thai Iced tea and Coffee and it is a gorgeous presentation. As a Barista/​Chef I loved their attention to detail and flavors. We highly recommend pairing your meal with these teas and coffees.
Ling, one of the owners, gave us a quick rundown of the menu and it’s pricing. Pretty fair and competitive considering that they offer a USDA prime and USDA choice beef. The marbling of the meat is very beautiful and the cuts are traditionally thin. They also offer other Thai traditional broths besides Thai tom yum. I definitely would like to try the other two in the future on a return visit. Thank you, Ling, for your great hospitality.
The number one thing that you must try here as a Shabu enthusiast is the sauce bar. They have beautiful Thai inspired flavors and my wife truly enjoyed this part the most! I definitely agree with her and this will be our go to spot from now on for all our lunch breaks.
The combination of great food and great service is getting the guest what they want when they want it! I wanted an authentic Thai tom yum and this place delivered and exceeded all my expectations when I tasted Thailand in my soup!

I went here before they just open the restaurant. Now I have a chance to come back again with my friends. Their food is still good as usual. I strongly recommend the PokTak soup and tom Kha soup. I prefer Poktak but my friend like the creamy one instead.
Tips. if you are pork-​eater try pork belly !!!

I tried tom yum noodle soup because I was getting sick, and I wanted to get something refresh. It was raining, so I didn’t want to go out to get some food. I searched Unilocal and I found this Thai restaurant which can delivery! Yay!!! Minimum order was $ 15, so I ordered for my husband too.
When I taste the noodle soup, it reminded me of real authentic Thai food in Bangkok. The soup was fresh and I could tell it made from the scratch. The topping was well-​balanced with lemon grass, lime leaves, ground pork and shrimp.
I definitely will try their food next time :)

I was in the area for work and needed to eat lunch. I looked up food on Unilocal and found Suki Time! Sucky time!!! Lol! So a coworker and I went out to eat some Shabu. When you walk in, it’s really weird. Like the hostess is not at the entrance. You need to walk in, walk through a room of tables, which totally confuses you cause while your walking through the room of tables you can’t help but think «hmmm… I wonder if this is seat yourself. Or maybe you order at a counter and take the food to your table.» But no, you go to the second room and then you get greeted, lol. Totally threw me off. Then they brought out the lunch menu. I already knew I was going to order shabu. So we both got shabu with the prime beef. They had all the sauces lined up in the back of the room for you to get. They set up a small little burner and then start bringing everything out. The server was really nice but really weird. We wanted drinks and there was a small fridge right by us with drinks in it. We told her what we wanted and she never brought it to us. So I got up, opened their fridge and just our drinks ourselves, lol. It’s very awkward when you need to get up and go to the restaurants fridge. The meat was totally fresh, the ingredients were fresh. So we really enjoyed the food. My coworker has never had shabu before so it was a cool experience. We both thought the food was great, but service was ok.
If I’m in this area and in the mood for shabu again, I would come by here. If not, I don’t think I would go out of my way for this spot (sorry to say). I would recommend trying it though!

My sister had introduced us to this place last Friday and at first I was a bit skeptical. Not because of the place or the location, but because my sister is not a very liable source when it comes to «good food». But I was shocked when I got here, because first I remembered it being a KBBQ and I was a bit disappointed cause I did not like the service last time.
But last Friday, my first time here, and I LOVED IT. It was amazing, and as my friends and family knows I am very hard to please. I usually do not write a review unless I am either super pissed, or super happy, or unless there is a real purpose of why I should let people know my experience. You could see my other reviews and you can see that I am not easy to please.
I must admit as a person who is really picky, this place was AMAZING. The food was great and the service was on point. The server always checked up on us, and even made sure to be aware of our allergies. The Pad Thai and their hot pot was so amazing, we devoured it before I could even take a picture. That is how amazing their food is. I am not saying it because they had an awesome check in offer of free Thai tea, but the fact that there was offers and even though they lost some money by providing the free drink they were still nice about it. I wish they had more locations, but it’s okay I will still be coming back or sending someone to pick up.
If you guys come here, you MUST get the Pad Thai. It is literally out of this world with a kick of flavor that will make you craving for more.
This place is worth it, and it is actually pretty cheap.

I first visited with my bf mainly to try thai-​styled hot pot. We ordered hot pot with a tom kha soup base (coconut flavored soup) in addition to a meat lover plate and other veggies. Although it has a unique taste, I wasn’t a huge fan of the coconut flavor; however, my bf loved it. There’s a self-​served dipping sauce section with peanut sauce, ponzu sauce, etc! I kept coming back for the peanut sauce… didn’t know that it tasted amazing with everything!
In my second visit, I brought my family here and ordered a bit of everything. Their pad-​see-​ew is very flavorful and filling– the best I’ve had in a long time. Also ordered wonton soup, and panang curry (thai chili and lime paste + coconut milk, bell peppers, and sweet basil). Both were so good! Lastly, we ordered hot pot with a herb soup base in addition to the meat lover, seafood lover platter, tofu, enoki mushrooms, pumpkin, and some more. As you can see, we pigged out! For dessert, we ended with a tiramisu icecream cake, which was heavenly.
Service is super friendly and fast. There’s indoor and outdoor seating (with heating lamps). Very nice ambiance. ALSO — don’t forget to check in for your free thai tea!

Are you tired of the same old boring cook yourself shabu-​shabu or sukiyaki? Then try Suki-​Thai-​Time hot pot kitchen. It is amaaaaazing!
I had no idea there was Thai hot pot, but pretty much every Asian country has a hot pot variant that you cook yourself. The awesome thing, instead of hot water you can can choose Thai soup broth like Tom Kha or Tom Yum to cook your meat or veggies, or if you are vegan you can just cook them in water and spice em up with sauces from the Thai sauce bar. OMG Thai sauce bar, I think I just died and went to Phi Phi.
So Suki Thai time presents you with a menu matrix for family platters and meal sets. You have a choice of 6 soup bases, 5 of which are an up charge of $ 4, and different choices of meat, seafood, or veggies. They also have they typical things like egg rolls, thai style salads, and if you are not into the hot pot thing you can get other thai food items which are for your less adventurous friends who were spoiled as children. They also have brown rice if fiber is your thing.
Growing up in an Asian household, I was used to the whole cook-​it-​yourself thing, so I know that you should only cook certain items for a certain amount of time, which is the only drawback of any cook-​it-​yourself restaurant is that you can ruin your meal, but you can’t complain to the chef! So getting back to my review, we ordered the Suki Platter, that had a mix of beef, pork, seafood, and cabbage. This was easily shared for two people, but if you are a hearty eater, order a healthy platter along with it to get more veg. We also started off with some really hot egg rolls. Next time we will let them cool down.
So they first bring out a big metal bowl with the broth in it, which we ordered the tom kha (knowing we could drink it afterwards) which goes on a hot plate. they have either electric or propane hot plates. They turn on the hot plate and explain how to use it. Five minutes after hearing the meat slicer – yes, they slice all meat to order, eat your heart out Kosmo Kramer – they bring a nicely arranged platter of meat and seafood to your table.
It is counter intuitive, but the cabbage takes the longest to cook so through that in first. The beef takes a minute or less to cook, the pork about 2 minutes, squid takes about a minute, scallop (sadly only one) takes 20 to 30 seconds, shrimp 30 to 60 seconds, and the dumplings can sit in there all night. In addition to tongues they give you two ladles where one is like a mini colander. I advice you to cook the scallop (remember only one) and the shrimp cradled safely in the colander ladle of lose them in a lake of soup, only to find them later rubbery.
Service was great too! We had a very nice server from Thailand who was able to do a great job explaining everything to us.
The next time you are considering Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, or Chinese hot pot, ditch those places and try Suki Thai Time hot pot kitchen! There are also Unilocal check in an meal offers!

Not too far from my home is a new Thai place called Suki time. I’ve been wanting to try it and so tonight was the night!!!
They delivered in less than one hour and we ordered the works…

Suki Time Thai Kitchen is a brand new restaurant in Lomita offering up Thai hot pot!
I’m a fan of hot pot and when I heard about this place, i had to check it out. Their menu is not just hot pot however as they have several appetizers (fried wonton, crab rangoon, egg roll, satay etc)), salads (beef salad, papaya salad etc) and Thai single dishes (pad thai, noodles, curry, soups).
It was the Thai hot pot though that caught my attention here. I ordered a food set which comes with a bowl of vegetable, choice of rice, regular soup and choice of meat. Monday through Fridays the food set is $ 9.95. On weekends and dinner, the food set is $ 13.95. Patrons here also have the choice of doing a family style hot pot which comes in a larger bowl.
The food set is pretty good for a solo person and even for sharing (if you decide to order other menu items). They gave me a nice plater of white chicken breast, various veggies and mixed vegetable soup for my broth. The hot pot gets cooked at the table on a little oven top. I liked how easy it was to control the temperature.
On the side they have a sauce bar filled with different sauces for dipping of your hot pot meat. My favorite was the Thai peanut sauce!
At first taste of the hot pot, I was impressed with the good flavor of the broth. The mixed vegetable soup had just the right flavoring and was not salty. the veggies and meat was good too.
To accompany our hot pot, my friend and I ordered pad thai. The pad thai was ok but it was really the hot pot that was my favorite here.
I would definitely recommend trying the hot pot! I think coming at lunch time on weekdays is the best hot pot deal. My other tip is to check in on Unilocal because you will get a free Thai milk tea!
