I really wanted this place to be great so I could have a new salon closer to home but unfortunately this is not that place for me. The lady who did my pedi rushed through it (they didn’t appear busy, no one was waiting or walked in during the time I was there) and was a bit sloppy. My polish was not clean around the cuticles and some of my nails were filed uneven and crooked. I have no interest in returning.

I enjoy coming here because of Nancy and her staff. They are so nice and welcoming. However, I can not give them 5 stars until, they actually come through with the bottoms of my feet being not as rough and a couple of times worse then when I have come in. I always pay extra for calluse remover but when it come to this part, I have never walked out a happy customer. But, out of all the nail shops around here they honestly are a gem. Everything wlse is excellent and THAT is why I continously come back.

I haven’t had acrylics in years! So I was a little nervous getting them, because my last experience getting acrylics at another salon was a bad one. But the ladies here know what they’re doing. My nails didn’t hurt at all. After a couple days, they still felt and looked good. I was actually comfortable wearing them. I will definitely come again.

So, I really wanted to like this place. I live right across the street and would have loved to have a go-​to spot that I could literally walk to. This is not that place. I don’t know if I came in on an off day for this specific tech or what, the other reviews for this place are so good. I don’t know what happened.
My sister and I came in around 5. There were two other ladies in chairs, both finishing up. I was getting a pedi and a full set of white tips, and my sister was getting a plain full set. They took me first and started my pedi. The water was cold. The pedi lady asked if the water was okay and I said it was a bit cold but she either didn’t hear me or didn’t care. She did a great job on the rest of my pedi though, even though she only did one coat of polish.
My acrylics are a different story. I’ve had acrylics a few dozen times in my life, so I know how it’s supposed to go. Firstly, she didn’t even use the file/​drill/​bit thing on my nails before she put the tips on. She barely went over the surface of my nails with a regular stick file. She didn’t trim my nails or anything. The tips are CROOKED. like, my fingers are a little crooked like anyone else and I know they’re not going to be perfect. She hassles me about the length, too, she got impatient with me when trying to figure out how far I wanted the white tips on my nails. The acrylic stuff was put on WAY too thick and terribly uneven. There are gobs and gobs of this stuff under my nails, caked in and gross. Then she used the drill ON TOP of the smooth acrylic. So the surface is all bumpy and uneven and she didn’t even flatten the thick gobs of acrylic. Basically just made it worse. I made a comment or two («that’s thicker acrylic than I’m used to» and «can you fix these two?») and she didn’t hear me.
She never even went near my cuticles, manicure-​wise. The only thing that touched my cuticles was the drill bit. And it just made them even worse than when I went in.
They’re cheaper than anyone in the area, and I should have known better. But the worst part is this: I got out of the salon at 6:15. It’s now 9:00 and one of my nails is already lifting. I didn’t pick, didn’t poke, none of that. But now I have crooked, thick, uneven nails that aren’t even staying on.
To top it off, my sister said that her tech tried to charge her an extra five dollars for her full set because her nail beds were so long. What? They’re not that long and I’ve never heard of anything like that. They’re not nearly as long as she wanted them because the lady said she’d have to charge more if my sister wanted more than like ¹⁄₃ inch past her natural nail bed. What? She didn’t even want them that much longer.
I’m calling tomorrow to get my money back. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I’m going back tomorrow morning to see Michelle who has agreed to come in on her only day off to wax my brows and add lash extensions. #WhoDoesThatTheseDays I’m very impressed!!!

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and finally made it in today for a mani-​pedi and eyebrow wax. It’s nice and clean, they don’t try to up-​sell you for every little thing, and the prices were reasonable. They did a great job on my nails and eyebrows and I’m thrilled to have finally found a new go-​to salon.

All these reviews are what motivated me to go to this Nail salon & they were all right! First, it is so easy to get in & out and there are plenty of parking spaces even some parking spaces in from of the shop are shaded with trees (bonus). Next, the nail salon is very clean and I even saw that the nail technicians used sanitized tools to work on my hands and feet! Lastly, they have a wide variety of nail polishes but I do wish they had more colors. I did notice they have a wide variety of gel polishes. I was lucky to have 2 nail techs working on me since I was the only one there. I was able to get in and out of my nails in exactly one hour which is great! Loved that it was peaceful and that I was able to relax without annoying chit chats (that I have had to endure at other salons).
–As of today they are still doing the Spa Manicure and Pedicure for $ 25.
–Make sure you call and make an appointment, but walk in’s are always welcomed!
–They accept credit cards & you can even put the tip on there! ($ 1 charge for cards)
–Make sure you spend enough time in the dryer for your nails I was let out too early and smudged a nail in my car :(
–Hot towels are included in the $ 25 spa mani & pedi.

So I was looking for a good nail salon that wouldn’t be busy on the weekends and didn’t require reservations. In my search, I found Nancy Nails & Spa! When I first arrived, I was a little skeptical because there wasn’t a single person at this place on a weekend… which can be a little alarming because nail salons do so well on the weekends. However, this is my cup of tea because I hate waiting and I loved that the salon was peaceful. Yes, they don’t have too large of a selection of colors, but they had all the colors I needed, the nail ladies weren’t gossiping at all (you know what I mean), it was quiet, relaxing, and I honestly love the results of my nails. They dont’ necessarily give the best massages, or have any of those additional add-​ons (paraffin masks, callous remover, etc.), but if you’re looking to just go get your nails done, quickly and efficiently, I would come here. I got a gel-​mani and pedi for $ 40, which in my opinion is reasonable in comparison to other places in the South Bay.

First visit to Nancy Nail Salon during a business trip
Well pleased, I am. Superb service and atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Lisa did an outstanding and timely service with my mani/pedi…were I to be in the area again, I’d revisit this salon.

Went today (a Friday afternoon) for the first time and it was a pleasant experience. I got a full set of acrylics ($ 20), & my friend got gels ($ 25).
The polish selection was great, with a LOT of OPIs and essies. The gel polish selection wasn’t as big, but it was ok. The place itself is small, minimal in frills, but very clean and well maintained.
When I got there, it appeared that only three women were working. The woman doing my nails was polite, and paid close attention to detail when it came to shaping the acrylics and adjusting their length. I did get about 2 little «cuts» but I feel like that happens anywhere/​anytime I get acrylics don’t because they’re just hard to do.
I’m removing one star for a few reasons:
While I WAS a walk in, several times while doing my nails the lady got up to help others/​answer the phone/​etc. She was polite about it, but still made me feel like it was taking longer than necessary. Second, I feel like I was a little rushed. As my friend and I got our nails done, many others walked in and were asked to wait. So when she was done painting my nails, I was sitting for about 5 minutes in front of the fan before I was told the top was dry so I was good to go. Unfortunately they WEREN’T dry, and I ended up messing up my thumb nail and a few others as soon as I got in my car. I was hesitant to go back in since it already took a while to get them done in the first place so I just ended up leaving. And lastly, the paint was done with sufficient coats, but it wasn’t the neatest job I’ve had done before.
Overall, the place was good. It definitely had more goods than bads, and I’d recommend it. Just try to make sure to go when it’s not busy because they’re really understaffed.

Always love coming here. They always fit me in, always aim for the highest quality and at whatever convenience of time you have.
It is a great quiet spot to relax in the massage chairs and feel a little pampered with the Mani/​Pedi mini massage/​lotion/​hot towels (which btw, comes included in the $ 25 great price tag). I live in RPV, travel around a lot, and I still hold off on getting a mani/​pedi just to come to this location.
Everyone there is just the sweetest, down to earth and caring individuals.

Personal experience:
I’ve been here multiple times and can’t brag enough about it. Last time I was here, I made an appointment; I was running late so I called to reschedule. When I got there for my new appointment time, they were already assisting other ladies. I waited for about 15minutes and they kept apologizing for being preoccupied (I didn’t mind, I was about to offer to come back later due to other appointments). They said not to worry tha they would both be assisting me to get the job done faster. After one was finished, one started on my pedicure. Then after the second woman was finished, she came to do my manicure. Very efficient and super helpful. Love this place! Never enough good things to say about these lovely ladies.

No frills mani pedi. The ladies are nice. I called to see if I could get in for a last minute appointment (if I come in 5 minutes can I get in? They said 10 would be better) So ten minutes later I arrived they sat me down and took care of me right away. Three ladies were working then one left (it was kind of nearing the end of the day) slowly but surely one person after another came in asking for either a mani or pedi. The techs said there was a wait each lady said ok and sat down and waited. Soon enough there were 5 women waiting. they did not rush the services (or rush me out of the chair as my nails dried) I felt like it was the perfectly appropriate speed given the waiting customers. I would go back in a pinch but this spot wouldn’t be my go to. By all means it wasn’t a bad experience the ladies were nice professional and did a good job. I just prefer cleaner and a little more than what I got.

I absolutely had the best experience at Nancy Nails… It was my first time there and Tracy and Lisa really made me feel comfortable on top of doing an awesome job on my feet and nails… I moved to Lomita about a year ago and I found myself driving 12 miles to get my nails and feet done. I have been going to Sandy Nails for almost 17 years but the drive was getting unbearable, so I decided yesterday to try someone different and I was soooooo impressed!!! Thanks for the best service ever!!!

I love it here! First time here and I’m already so impressed. First of all I’m not the type of girl who spends a lot on nails and all this stuff. I’m logical. I think about the groceries I can buy with this money. But today I wanted to relax at least and get my nails fixed because they previously looked so neglected. Came here for their mani pedi promo for $ 25 and then I opted for gel so that’s + $ 15 more. I gravitate towards nude and simpler colors so this one here is my champagne color pick. Very simple but it was SOOOO well done! I didn’t have any problems she covered all my finger nails and walked me through the whole process! She gave me one free silk wrap cus my fingernail broke from bowling :(ugh and the spa massage for my feet and legs. The hot oil for both hands and feet, and ugh their massage chair! All for $ 40 ! I’ve been here an hour and happy as a clam… Sigh wish I can do this every week lol come here! They’ll take care of you! Michelle took such good care of me. Sweet lady!

Came in before work to get a mani and pedi for my weekend getaway. It was not the best I have had here, but it was still good n relaxing. I like getting my mani massage before the gel is applied and this time it was done after. Either way still another good experience.

This place is amazing! Great service! Our nails looked so beautiful! And great staff! I will be back for sure! I have never loved my nails more!!!

This place is hidden inside a beautiful plaza surrounded by lots of trees. It has been over a few weeks since I was serviced here, so I am writing based upon my memory. There is usually no wait here since it is located in a quiet area.
I loved the atmosphere and the nail technicians are definitely experienced. They use quality supplies. I know this because my nail polish shined and lasted for a long time compared to other nail salons I’ve gone to. Also, prices are pretty decent.
I enjoyed chatting with the owner as well, she is a very lovely person. I will definitely come back to this salon when I am around the area. :)

This place is great! I came in without an appointment and I was seated within 10 minutes. It’s clean, the lady that did my pedicure was nice (no name tags!) great price. I will be coming back.
Pedicure comes with a 5 ish minute massage, I don’t know if you’re able to pay for more time or not. Great work. A lot of colors available; OPI, China glaze, and some I hadn’t heard of before but they looked great.
Massage chairs are great and they encourage you to use them! I’m sitting here waiting for my toes to dry and they are not trying to rush me out, so that’s really nice.
There is a $ 1.00 charge for using credit (Visa or MasterCard) so you can be prepared.
