We first called in and asked how much for hair cuts for our 2 boys each, the lady said $ 15 each, so we told her great we will stop by now if that’s ok, «yes no problem»
Walked in and sat down, no one bothered to say hello or any sort of greeting, no problem… Then after sitting for a little over 5 minutes, one of the ladies cutting another persons hair says «oh hi are you waiting for someone» really??? No, I sat down in the shop, to sit down and fiddle my fingers… We told the woman/​man we called for our kids hair cuts, and one of the other ladies says we have no time.
Wow so you’re telling me your little dump salon (if you want to call it a salon) has no time to cut hair when we called 10 minutes ago and you said it’s no problem to come in…
First, if you want to be picky about your cliental, have an established clean, well looking shop before doing so.
Second, actually have clients booked.
A dump! Goes back to saying, you get what you pay for and not that the prices were any lower than other inexpensive salons.
Ended up going to another place down the street, paid $ 3 additional, and the salon was clean, well organized with friendly staff. Glad we did so.
Nasty nasty nasty… The staff and the shop.

Seema’s is great — I’ve been going to her for probably around 6 years now. She is so quick at body waxing and great at cleaning up brows. I live in the bay area now, and every time I go back to LA (which is about once a month), I get my eyebrows done by Seema. She started a new apprentice almost a year ago, at first I was hesitant to try anyone new, but I went to the new girl for the first time about a month ago and she does an excellent job as well.

This place is great! I got my chin and upper lip threaded and it did not even hurt! Walk ins are welcome so that we defiantly a positive. I will definitely be coming here again!

I LOVE SEEMA! I have been coming to Seema for over a decade! Most of her clients are long-​term. She is amazing. She has a few girls assisting her and they are great at cleaning up but I go to Seema for any shaping. Wont go anywhere else.

I’ve been coming here for a while only because my previous eye brow place closed. Seema always does a great job but there’s a younger girl who does my brows sometimes&never seems interested in her job at all. Sometimes she’ll say hi and other times she’ll just tell me to sit down and take my money after without even saying thank you. Also the young girl has made a gap in my eyebrow TWICE! She’s also missed hairs before& I’ve had to go home to go over her work with tweezers. Your brows will be fine if Seema herself does them but good luck with the other girl. I never know what to expect when she hands me the mirror.

Made the mistake of coming here today! She messed up the shape of my eyebrows! It was extremely painful! I usually go to a lady in LA but didn’t want to make the drive to downtown so I went here. She was also very rude. I walked to pay ($ 11), she swiped my card, gave it back and walked a ay immediately. She didn’t say thank you for coming, have a nice day.nothing. Did a horrible job that took less than 2 minutes, took my money and literally walked away. Bad business. Don’t come here. Last by not least, she cut off half of the end of my eyebrow!!!

The prices are right, Seema is extremely talented. Been going to her for 8+ years now. I’ve never done the facials there or gotten waxed but when getting my hair done or threaded, Seema actually listens to what I want. Try her out!

I was looking for a new place to get my threading done and read the reviews so I decided to give it a try. The first person did my eyebrows was the owner (two weeks ago) they came out AMAZING! Well it was time to do another threading and this time it was another Lady it was slow and painful and one side is a little thicker then the other.
Im going to add that over time my eyebrows became uneven and annoying unsightly. I decided to look for a new location to have them done and closer to home.

I’ve been here about three or four times for my eyebrows to be threaded. Nothing to amazing, the location of the place is a bit sketchy. But they do a decent job and it is only $ 7. Nothing to complain or rave about.

Seema & her entire crew are excellent! Tell them what shape you want and they make it happen. I have been Seema’s client for six years and have never been disappointed.

Went to get my brow and lip done which was fine. She handed me the mirror and I said it looks great, then she looks me up and down with contempt (weird!). Didn’t even hand me a tissue had to grab one myself. Then I said how much was it again? She said 10, so I gave her 10 plus tip and she held her hand out snatched the money and turned her back to me. So I said thank you and she ignored me and kept talking to the other woman who was sitting blabbering the whole time. So ridiculously rude, there’s been other times where she’s been doing my eyebrows while on the phone. Shit customer service, go somewhere else…

Seema knows how to do the eyebrows but when she did the whole face she missed some areas specially near the lip… She is okay and her price was great. I still will look for another place… Pay a little more for a detailed work…

Nothing fancy, but great for hair removal and eyebrow threading. Cheap and fast.

Love this salon! It used to be my 2^nd home! Its not too fancy but its cheap and it offers every service a girl could think of! Its kind of hidden from the street, but it does have a good parking area and the salon is pretty spacious. Ask for Seema for best beauty results!

I first met Seema (the owner) at another local (threading/​waxing) Salon.
When I went to the place she was first at, and found out she was gone –I wasn’t a happy camper.
Then one day, driving home from Pedro (that’s San Pedro for the non SouthBayers) on Western, I see this red sidewalk banner ‘SEEMA EYEBROW THREADING’. Before I knew it, I was whipping into the parking lot, jumping out my car while still turning the key… You would have thought I ran into my ex-​boyfriend, with my new eyecandy and supper dolled up. (in other words when I saw her — I had the biggest grin ever) I hugged her, and said how happy I was to find her.
Anyways, enough of the personal sidenote… Seema is great! I sit in her chair, lean back and let her do her magic. For those times, I stretch seeing her (eyebrow hairs grow too fast, and before I know it, me and my tweezers are busy at work) she knows exactly how I like them (thick/​thinness and shape).
I also love picking up earrings from her (I love accessories). And I love the music/​video she has playing.
Other services are offered, but I would be leading you into darkness if I commented on them. But hair styling, facials, cuts, are also available.

MUST READ TIPS: First time threading— I bet you’ll learn to love it over waxing or tweezing. I have sensitive skin, and have found this is the best method for me. (I also ask that they DON’T use that powder or any other product on me). Does it hurt? It’s not that painful but hairs are being tugged/​pulled so you are going to feel something (also experience threaders work faster which makes it not hurt so fast) (another note, watch if someone is slow — RUN the other way), but the more you get it the less you feel it. Read in a magazine, before you go, to take two Tylenol it will ease the discomfort. Hope this helps — now go on ahead and get those brows threaded. Oh and if you prefer a certain shape — let that be known early on.

I’ve been here once for eyebrow threading, from a referral from a friend. I was always on the hunt for cheap threading places locally, as I was tired of driving to Venice or Artesia to get them done.
Anyway, this salon is small and kind of hidden from street view. The lady that did my eyebrows was fine. But I thought they only charged $ 5 for threading, but I was charged $ 7 + tip. Maybe it was because I used a credit card? I don’t know if I’d come back here again…
