This guy was a God-​send. The alarm on my Mom’s old car was giving her a lot of problems. It was a factory alarm that didn’t manufacture the key fob anymore. He gave me a great deal for a new alarm installed.

The service was top notch! Swift and professional! Prices fair! I got an amp and subwoofer installed in under an hour! I will be back!!!

I would highly recommend Jay for all your car stereo needs and whatever else he can do! A CD jammed up my car stereo with the eject button and all FM stations. Jay replaced the unit just fine and had me come back because he had to special order the (mounting?) kit since the car is a bit older. Poor Jay had to alter the kit for me to make it work, but was so dedicated to the job that he ordered another kit to try. It didn’t work but I really appreciated his efforts! And the new stereo is great!

My sound had been cutting out for months and driving me crazy, so I finally bit the bullet and brought my car in to see if someone could figure out what the problem was.
Jay estimated an hour to diagnose, but he found the problem within minutes. My expensive five-​channel amp was messed up and needed to be replaced… I winced because I remembered how expensive it was. He assured me that, since my car is small and I don’t blast my music, I don’t need that much power and recommended a more modest two-​channel amp. I took his advice, and he estimated an hour and a half for installation. He was done in less than an hour, and my bill was very small for how happy I am with the results! Very glad I found this place (thanks Unilocal) and brought my car in.

Needed to replace original stereo in 2001 Sequoia and antenna. Told the salesman exactly what we wanted but before we could say more, he wanted to check out antenna before replacing cuz he had a dealt with old Sequoias before. He quoted us a rate $ 40 less than what B**t B*y had just quoted us for the same stereo and labor. And we received a $ 10 discount on the stereo and he fix our antenna for free.

Some time ago (perhaps a couple years — gasp) I had a stereo put in my older Volvo and the windows tinted at the same time by Jay’s. Both have stood the test of time. I wanted to put up a good review at the time of the install, but failed to. I’m writing now because a friend asked for a referral to an installer and one truly impressive memory came back from my experience with Jay’s: I was quoted a price to do the work and agreed that it was OK. I subsequently received a phone call from the owner telling me that he had made a mistake on the pricing of one of the items and the new price was LOWER than the price that we had agreed upon. Now that’s honesty!

My son has a 1994 Ford and really needed a new stereo. I called ahead to Jay’s and he confirmed that he had everything in stock for an awesome stereo with Bluetooth capabilities and quoted a great price — under $ 200. I told him I’d come by that weekend. When I got there, Jay remembered our phone call, showed us the options and said it’d be an hour. We walked down the street to McDonalds, and came back in an hour. It was ready to go! The stereo looks and sounds awesome, and the bluetooth is a great added feature. I am thrilled with the price and the service at Jay’s.

I came in at 4:30 pm, not knowing they close at 5. However, Jay happily checked out my car to see what options I have for stereo replacement. I thought that my overly complicated German car would mean I’d have to wait for special parts but in exactly 30 minutes, Jay replaced my old 1998 Audi speaker with a new one. He was quick, friendly, and explained what he was doing. For $ 185 it was a great deal. This is my second time bringing a car here. I would recommend to friends and family.

My wife offered to buy me a new stereo for my car as my birthday, so after some careful research, I decided to get it installed at Jay’s. I called on a Saturday and he quoted me a very fair price over the phone, so I decided to get it installed on Monday.
I got there on Monday and he remembered me from the phone call! The price was the same as what he originally quoted me, and he got started immediately once I confirmed the radio was indeed the one I wanted. He got started on it and I think within 25 minutes or so, the radio had been installed. (I lost track of time because I was reading on my Kindle, but it couldn’t have been more than 25 minutes at most. Perhaps 20??)
He came back in and asked me where I would like the microphone for the Bluetooth phone calls installed. The fact that he wanted to make sure before installing it was really a big deal for me – I love when businesses do that for their customers. Once he installed it, he showed me the sound capabilities, and it sounded amazing. My CD with my stock radio now sounded like I had a brand new system, speakers and all, in my car!
The owner and his wife are very friendly. People came in and out and he seemed to know them all by name and face.
My car is almost 9 years old now so I’ll probably need another radio when I get a new car… I’m definitely coming back! Fair pricing and quick service!

I had never been to Jay’s before but looked at his ratings on Unilocal and decided to go see his shop. Jay had the exact radio I was looking for, his price was reasonable and his installation in my Porsche was very tidy and expertly done. If you are looking for an honest proprietor, reasonable prices and expert installation, go see Jay, he is awesome and he stands behind his work.

Jays the man! You can tell from the moment you meet him how genuine he is and that he is giving you a fair price. He was willing to help with whatever we needed and was always calm and kind about it. He finished the job beautifully and so quickly! Great family business in the South Bay.

I scheduled a time with Jay to install a dashboard cam in my car.
He quote $ 45 and he can finish the job in 30 – 40 minutes, which seemed fair to me.
I arrived on time and Jay was ready to go, completed the job perfectly in less than 30 minutes and showed me what he did before he closed up the panels under my steering wheel.
What more could I ask?

Been going to this tiny mom and pop shop for years! They’ve been around for 25 years plus which is a huge testament to the quality of work they do. Jay is probably one of the most honest and humble people you will find. If he can’t do it, he’ll recommend someone else. However, he is as talented as he is honest so I don’t think that happens often.
Every piece of work he’s done for my family, friends, and me have been flawless. From stereo installation, tinting, and minor repairs, if Jay puts his seal of approval on it, it’ll outlast the vehicle!
I have heard of loyal customers that continue to come from far away (like myself) and ones who were there when the doors opened for the first time and continue their patronage today. You don’t get this kind of following from poor or mediocre work. Actually, I don’t think it even comes from exceptional work. Throughout the years I have gotten to know Jay and his charming wife, Mia. They are tremendous people who you want to get to know and the fact that they care and take pride in their work shows. This has been proven to me time and time again.
Whether you live around the block or a hundred miles away, don’t look any further than this place. You’ll regret it if you do.
