Since I moved to the area 3 years ago I’ve been taking my car to Scott, the owner of Hank’s Auto and have always found him to be trustworthy, knowledgeable, honest and fair. I won’t take my car anywhere else for service. I always feel like my car is well taken care of and never feel like I’m trying to be upsold on unnecessary extras. Hank’s Auto is a terrific local business that everyone in the area is lucky to have around.

For about ten years now Scott has been taking care of my company trucks. He manages our fleet services, takes care of our personal vehicles and I have a dozen or more friends I’ve referred to him. Always a positive experience. Honest, fair, capable and accommodating.
Early on I towed my truck with a failed transmission to him and he figured out the power train on my Lincoln had a longer warranty then I thought. He sent me to the dealer and saved me about $ 5000 that I wouldn’t have known any better.

I called around to several different auto shops and they all quoted me outrageous prices. Scott took care of the fix and charged me at an extremely reasonable price. Most honest mechanic I’ve ever had! Not going anywhere else from now on!

I just took my 4Runner in to get the leaky power steering fixed. This was my second time taking my truck to Hank’s Auto. The first time went extremely well, and the pricing, quickness & expertise of the repair was as honest and professional as it gets. So, when my power steering started leaking to the tune of having to refill the reservoir every day, I HAD to take it in. My finances are, well, not good to put it mildly, but I knew this had to be taken care of, and I knew from my previous experience that Hank’s is an honest shop. Scott was kind enough to give me a ballpark estimate over the phone so I could gauge whether or not I could even afford it, and he didn’t sway from that quote once I got there to get it fixed. There’s no «upselling» done here; no «suggested repairs» that don’t really need to be done, and all that crap. This is an honest shop everyone, and believe me when I tell you that there aren’t a lot out there. If your car needs repair, take it to him. Scott and his staff are experts and you’ll get a rock-​solid repair job at a truly fair price.

I’ve been bringing our cars to Hank’s for over 10 years. Always great service at a fair price. Scott is a wizard at diagnosing problems, and with four older cars in the family, it really has been a blessing having a mechanic that we trust.
I think that trust is really the most important thing in my recommendation. We trust Hank’s Auto to treat us squarely, not rip us off, and keep our cars in good running order.
