WORST PEDI EVER!!! First time I have gone for a pedi and my feet looked worse afterwards. My pedicurist was highly inexperienced, didn’t have the appropriate tools and I essentials went through 30 mins of torture before I asked her to clean me up so I could leave. Quite a shame since I moved into a condo right across from them and was looking forward to having them as my new nail technicians.

Do not recommend. Have tried a few times and each time a disappointment. So what disappointed me… First time there, made appt for a regular mani pedi — but charged me for a spa mani pedi. When I question them, they acted like they did understand. I explained, ended up paying for the spa, too many people in salon too get into it, cuz they surely did not get it or just played dumb.
I had made a reservation for 3 to have mani/​pedi and only had 2 nail techs available. Made my guest feel very uncomfortable. Again played dumb.
Called to see if they took the SpaFinder gift card… they confirmed. But when I went to pay, they said they did not. Again, her son plays dumb.
Now in total been there about 7 or 8 times.
Need to really up their game in service… plus they offered no discount due to their errors.

Very disappointing! Have two infections. One on my finger and one on my foot and yes I am a diabetic and I told the pedicure technician this and still ended up with a cut on my foot that is infected and they did not even have a bandaid for it. I wrote the owner but have not had the courtesy of a reply. Technician did Nothing to my toenails and started polishing nails. Had to repeatedly request she cut them which she refused. Filed a few. And yes I usually go to different salon and never had a problem. My fault for not making sure instruments came directly out of the sterilizer… don’t believe they did!

Good service nice people and good pricing. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been here about a handful of times and really like this small salon. They offer a number of services that aren’t only for hands and feet, like massages and waxing, but I only ever get a last minute mani-​pedi combo.
Their selection of nail polish is good. They have a lot of OPI and China Glaze options and a few others. They rotate a lot of the seasonal polishes, too.
I’m most impressed with how much time they take on the pampering aspect. The nail clean up and polish application isn’t always the best, but it’s, at the very least, acceptable and usually decent. They let you soak for a while and spend a lot of time on exfoliating, scrubbing and rubbing. How many places will give you a complimentary hot stone leg massage?
Be sure to grab one of their punch cards. If you purchase 9 manicures your 10^th is free! They are already affordable, so that’s the cherry on top!

If I could I would give this place 3 ½ stars. The technicians do an awesome pedicure with a great foot and leg massage including hot stones. It is very relaxing and not rushed. On the other hand the three times I’ve been there I’ve been charge different prices for a ped. They don’t have a price list on the wall and supposedly the prices change based on the season but it would be nice if they made it a little bit more clear upfront.

Very nice nail salon in downtown Lombard that is managed and run by hard working, professional, and very nice people. Highly recommend this place!

I used to love this plays but not sure what happened they must have switched owners… it is just another so so nail salon.

I am not the best judge of nail salons. I’ve gotten fewer than 10 manicures and pedicures combined in my whole life. I usually just paint my nails at home.
But, it was my post-​birthday «treat yoself» day, my feet were in sad shape from the winter, and I decided to go for it.
The space is clean and nicely decorated, and around 1 p.m. on a Monday I think I was the only customer (a few of the ladies seemed to be practicing on each other). Everyone was very friendly, although I never did catch the techs’ names.
They have super comfy massage chairs while you’re soaking and being scrubbed. That was no weenie massage, it really got in there. I could just go and sit in the massage chair for 15 minutes. Anyway, my nail tech really did the whole shebang — scrubbing, soaking, filing, moisturizing, etc, plus a lovely leg and foot massage. Then she carefully painted my toenails, put the sandals on me and helped me over to the hand station — even carried my shoes and purse for me!
The second tech also did a great job though she was pretty quiet — there wasn’t much conversation the whole time, so if you like to be chatty with your manicurist, you might end up doing most of the talking? The hands weren’t quite as extensive, but I did get a nice scrub, massage and hot towel. And she was very careful and thorough with the polish.
At the end, they even wrapped my toes in plastic wrap before putting my socks and shoes back on me! That was a new one to me, and definitely appreciated.
One thing to note: I ended up putting my tip on my credit card because they didn’t have change for a $ 20, but I got the feeling they would have preferred cash — so if I return, I’ll remember that.

I had a wonderful time here! They had a special where manicure/​pedicure was only $ 30 so I decided to try this place out. The shop is located in downtown Lombard and is VERY clean. They did a wonderful job with my nails. I was ashamed at how ugly my feet and hands were after this winter, but they did everything they could to bring them back to normal! You can tell they take pride in their work. If there was even a questionable smudge at all they would start over instantly. The massage chairs were fantastic. The lotion they used felt really nice! And it made me happy to see them clean everything right away. The second I got up from my pedicure, someone came over to disinfect the bowl.
This is one of the only places I’ve been to where they used cling wrap and wrapped my toes for me prior to putting my shoes back on. THEY put my shoes on for me. They put on my socks, shoes, and laced them. I felt so bad that they did! But the just said they wanted my nails to be perfect. Great customer service. Very professional.

Hit or miss. Place and atmosphere are great. Workers are nice. You get offered tea or water, when they are not busy. When they are good, they are great. BUT… If you call ahead for an appointment, there is a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance you will be bumped if the owner has friends/​group that arrive, and they will get preferential treatment. One day, you get a nice-​looking manicure, which includes a relaxing hand and arm massage. Other days, you will not get the massage if they are busy and backed up. If the owner works on you, because they are busy and understaffed, she will be distracted and the results will be sub par (uneven nail shape, sharp edges, one coat of polish, no massage, etc.). You call days or weeks ahead for an appointment; and, when you arrive on time, you see customers in EVERY chair (soaking and waiting) and 2 people working on 2 customers. Then the rush to get everyone out results in half-​completed services. When you call and ask for a particular person they will always tell you «yes» and «sure» — but when you arrive, the person you asked for may not have been scheduled. Too many negatives for the competitively higher prices. They can easily get 4 – 5 stars if they were honest with customers, organized in scheduling their staff and appointments, and treated every customer with the same respect.

A nice find! My daughter and I needed manicures and after calling the way too popular LA Nails in Glen Ellyn only to find that they did not have even one opening, we decided to branch out and try somewhere new. Heading east rather than west led us here, and we ended up very pleased. The space was super clean, the technicians professional and thorough, and the prices reasonable. It was 2 days before Christmas and we enjoyed the carols, decorations and the gift of a nice sized tube of body/​hand lotion that the manager passed out. We may have found a new «regular» nail salon!

Love this place! When I first moved to Lombard I was happy to find a salon so close that I could walk there. It is very clean and affordable; they always do a great job :)

BAD BUSINESS I will never visit this place again!!! After holding several meetings and referrals here, I was stunned by the owner. When I went to pay she asked me to pay extra because her employee 3 weeks prior undercharged me. She made a huge 10 minute scene in front of 12 women in a mom group trying to explain how much I owed her. I can’t believe she kept my receipt at the register that long and pointed me out. The place is clean but the polish chips off the next day.

I went to MGL for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised by everyone who was working there! From the moment we walked in, to the actual spa manicure treatment, everything was top notch. The nail technicians were friendly and professional. Ari and B were great. They both did a great job with the entire treatment, making sure they filed, cleaned, and polished the nails perfectly. The spa manicure was the best manicure I’ve ever had! Prices are comparable to other salons. I would highly recommend MGL if you’re near Lombard. This place is way better than many of the salons that I’ve been to in downtown Chicago. Can’t wait to go back!

I got my nails done on a Friday morning — red for a wedding I was standing up in the next day. I didn’t work — type — do dishes. Within 24 hours the manicure was badly chipping :(Didn’t last even 24 hours — disappointed to say the least. Hopefully the chips don’t show in the wedding pics!

I have been getting my nails done for 10 years– in the city of Chicago, Miami and various locations while traveling. I can say without a doubt that this is THE BEST nail salon I have ever been to. I will never go anywhere else again. They treat you like a millionaire and do a mani/​pedi to make you feel like one– without paying a fortune. I recommend this to all of my friends and family in the western suburbs. You will not be disappointed, and you will leave wishing you had tried this place out sooner!

I had an appointment with MGL Spa and Nail for a pedicure for my friend and I today. The salon is very pretty inside, super clean, and the staff is wonderful! We got great pedicures and a hot stone foot and leg massage was included. They do not do acrylic nails (purposely) so the salon smells good, not like acetone and chemicals. They offer coffee, tea or water, and you can even BYOB! It’d be fun to grab a bottle of wine and get mani/​pedis. :)
I’m so glad I learned about them from the Lombard Town Center Facebook page. I’d definitely go back, maybe to try one of their other services, like a facial or massage.
