omg!!! i wished i had payed attention to the reviews before moving here! i moved in april 2015. at first i was in love with it. until, the truth unfold!!! the management team sucks, they purposely be rude! i hate the team so much! never prompt but prompt to ask for their $money$.
and the roaches is out of control! with the money i pay for rent and on time the roaches is a no, no… but the team always apologies but never take the responsibility for their lack of action!!! today, i received a phone call for the first time, about the lease renewal. this chick says it is my responsibility to contact them, and if i choose to vacant i will have to pay the interest fee because we are already 6 days out! that was done on purpose! as i try to explain, this was my first contact from the office. she hits me with «i have over 500 leases, that are up for renewal, i apologize if you fell through the cracks»
wow!!! i hung up the phone!!!
they knew it, but because so many ppl are leaving thats a tactic they’re using to keep ppl!!!
i hate it here

HOLY TERRIBLE. I have seen more cops at that place arresting people than I have in any other complex I have ever lived in. A neighbor on the first floor had someone standing outside her room every night, went to management about it, and they told her it wasn’t their job to keep their tenants safe despite all of the theft etc., that goes on there. Nola is a disaster– she needs help. she has no idea what customer service is or how to treat people. I’m not sure what happened to her but it’s unreal how she treats people. Expect everything to look ok on the surface (during september/​august is there big turnover move in time, so they’ll clean up all the gang graffiti (latin king killers, etc.), but once youre in and have signed a lease, they wont clean that stuff up rather just continue to let gangs live there… everything is just a cover up of something terrible… water leaking, ac doesn’t work, etc. go elsewhere

Steer clear. And if you’re a current resident… when you move out take pictures and document EVERYTHING.
The first year here was okay. Didn’t really have any issues, and when i told them a lock was broken, it got fixed pretty quickly. Neighbors were okay. Parking was typical, that if you got there after 1030/​11, you might had to park at a building over.
My second year here… the quality of people here went down. They put some more speedbumps in, my poor car took a beating daily from those. The office staff was extremely rude and maintenance took FOREVER. They had 48 hours to fix things and usually waited to 46 hours.
I just moved out in August, had my place professionally cleaned and I took pictures of it when i left. I received my statement and was being charged $ 20 for a dirty kitchen floor. They sent me a random picture with no time or date and expected me to believe that was my kitchen. I sent them back my picture that had time/​date and I was told I would receive my $ 20 in a separate check.
I also asked about receiving a print out of my ledger showing my billing and payments and they refused. If you do decide to live here, take note of everything. You will get the run around.
The raise in my rent was getting ridiculous, on top of the maintenance, rude staff, and bad neighbors… i was getting out of there.
There are pros and cons of every place but believe the reviews that this apartment is going down hill.

The staff here is ridiculously rude and acts like the issues and concerns their renters have dig into their time. No issues get resolved and they have the worst of attitudes. While they’re renovating apartments that renters are moving out of, they’re charging the other renters with low grade appliances: fixtures the same amount of rent. The complex is a scam, steer clear! Oh and not to mention the crazy amount of money you pay for water/​sewer. Or the fact there is NO parking after 10 o’clock!

Do not live here!!! Disgusting grounds, unruly neighbors and worst of all the unprofessional office staff. There are many other places that are ten times better and safer.

Steer clear from here.
I cannot stress that enough.
Not finding a suitable house, and a few rough patches with work, caused us to extend our stay there longer than originally planned. And I must say that now we are gone, we couldn’t be happier.
Elevators stop working almost weekly.
Repairs are slow to be completed.
Staff is unprofessional and incompetent.
Storage units are small and constantly broken into or vandalized (there are still used condoms all over in the 3^rd floor units of 880)
Ownership has changed 3 times in the past 5 years (which Im assuming is done for liability reasons and loopholes)
Leasing staff changes yearly. Its not uncommon to tour the grounds and maybe apply, and then sign with a different person because the other person you were dealing with suddenly «doesnt work here anymore»
And the way they figure out your water/​sewer bill is a joke.
Layers upon layers of paint over not even cleaned walls. You can see the grease in the kitchens and «private» hairs in the bathroom walls.
There were 2 tennis courts that were in bad shape. They half fixed one, and the other they turned into a «doggy park». Yet the playground is still in disrepair (jagged metal bars).
They would sell the idea of an «updated» unit with hardwood floors and actual granite countertops, nothing more than Pergo flooring and «granite looking» laminate tops.
They wanted to raise our rent on our 2 bedroom apartment over $ 150 one year. It was cheaper to move to a 3 bedroom.
Being a loyal and good tenant means nothing to them. They wont step up and say «we are sorry, we messed up» when something goes wrong.
I am still on the fence about including the fact that some of the other tenants also make this place a less than stellar place to live. Common courtesy and social contracts (like cleaning up after your dogs and throwing away your trash) seems lost on about 60% of them.
And yearly they reseal the parking lots and restripe the spots (which they make smaller each year). Section by section, but parking gets all screwed up. And when things are behind schedule, your car will be towed because they didnt put out a notice that today is now the day you need to move your car.
The best things I guess was the low security deposit and in-​unit washer and dryers, but that doesnt change the fact that Clover Creek is a turd wrapped in gold foil blanket. My advice, and take it for what its worth as its just a review on Unilocal,is to save up a extra couple hundred and find an apartment where there is a better community, better units and better staff. You might pay an extra hundred or so a month, but you will be much happier.
sidenote: if you decide not to heed my warnings and still want to live there. If you have kids, check which school they would go to based on the buildings. There are 2 different elementary schools that service that complex. Not sure about middle and high school.

These apt are just turning to the dumps. The buildings keep getting sold year after year with new management. The people in the office are just unprofessional and lazy.
Maintenance people could never fix anything right the 1^st two time. The office takes forever to get work orders approved.
They spent more money on a new caged dog park instead of fixing up the kids playground.
The 1^st floors are constantly flooding once a month especially the end units. The main door locks is broken every week because they refuse to fix them the right way.
They will send you to collection if you short pay them by a $ 1.00 by mistake instead of it carting over to the next month.
They bring in a cleaning crew once a week to clean all the building is a plus, but the remainder of the times the hallways are mess from people just not caring anymore from the lack of trust and anger with management and employees.
PS: parking is horrible, if you get home late night and live in building 850 or 860 you most likely have to park by the leasing office in the frigid cold winter or rainy nights.

I love my new home! Clean, quiet, and friendly apartment. My application process and move in was sooo much easier with the help of the front office workers Michelle and Wendy.

When I stayed there about 3 years ago, they were very good. Some things that were annoying were that many residents had dogs and that regularly scared the hell out of my kids (as they would ride in the elevators with us).
Aside from that, they were very nice and very understanding of some difficult situations we had with renewing our lease.
