History

Established in 1994.

Dr. Michaels attended the University of Iowa for both her Bachelor’s and Dental degrees. After completing Dental school in 1991, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA. At the completion of her three year orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh, she earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s degree.

Dr. Michaels is committed to providing quality orthodontic treatment in a relaxed, friendly environment. She feels it is important that each patient be treated as an individual.

Dr. Michaels is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the Midwest Society of Orthodontics. She also belongs and participates in the Contemporary Dental Forum, a branch of the Seattle Study Club. This is a group of dentists and dental specialists who meet monthly to discuss current trends in their field as well as present difficult or unusual cases for discussion.

In her spare time, Dr. Michaels enjoys the outdoors with her husband and three children.
