Recommendations: If you’re going to leave keys overnight, leave a note of what you want worked on, including phone number to call you at.
These guys kept my saturn running for 14 years, did a great job.

Having a broken car kind of really stinks. A few years ago, we brought my old car to Art’s because it was the first one I found in the phone book — AND within walking distance of my house. Having had bad experiences with mechanic shops in the past, yes, I should have done my homework, but if I had done more poking around, I don’t think I would have found Art’s.
I’ve since brought my car, past and current, in in total about half a dozen times.
The most recent was a couple of weeks ago when I was getting a weird noise under my front driver side and tire. I dropped it off at Art’s on my way to work and by the middle of the day, I knew what was wrong and how much it would cost. I’ve had cars sit for days at mechanics and not even be looked at so I was jumping for joy at having my car back in less than a day (and plus the husband’s cad didn’t have A/​C and it was 1,000 degrees outside so even better). The speed and communication have been the same through out whenever we bring a car to this shop and that is greatly appreciated.
Art may not be one of those cut rate folks and that is fine with me. I feel that the pricing is very fair and the work is done quickly and in a quality manner. It’s somewhere I will return to when or if I need a car to be repaired again. Highly recommended.
