This a five star for Logansport. If you are from a larger city with more choices of where to eat this is a 3 star. The beer selection is very diverse and the menu does a nice job of breaking the beers out into different categories so ordering is easier. The my also do a nice job of highlighting beers brewed in Indiana. The service is very friendly reflecting the Midwest nature of the state. The interior is very clean but a little dark. The radio noise is pretty loud even during the day when the place is not crowded. The interior is spacious. If you are meeting a group in town the old style definitely has the space to accommodate any size party. Plus the menu is pretty diverse so there is bound to be something that satisfies the hunger of everyone in your party. The 3 stars comes from the fact that the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes the food is satisfying and sometimes, like my most recent visit, the food leaves a lot to be desired. From terribly under cooked French fries to tenderloin and fish that both could have used more salt and pepper the lack of flavor was disappointing. Overall I think the old style inn is one of the better places to eat and drink in Logansport and the fact that they are non-smoking inside is a blessing from Heaven. Unfortunately it is not the kind of place you should go expecting a great meal.

Great looking place good food service is a little slow during lunch and dinner probably could use bigger kitchen not much cooking room for the amount of tables available. Menu is limited. Daily special for lunch and dinner adds a little to menu but like to see change up there menu. Place is very clean and staff is very friendly.

I grew up in Logansport and returned to see friends and attend a HS reunion. My culinary experiences in Logan since I left in ’87 have been limited to a quick B&K, Sycamore or Haps run, so reading all of the positive posts about the Old Style Inn lessened my skepticism to a degree, but it is still a bar and still in Logan – but… I was duly and totally impressed. Atmosphere: We were out on the patio for the dinner hour. What a great setting. One of the servers said there are plans in the works to enhance the space even more. The interior space looked pleasant and inviting too. I can’t wait to return as a ‘normal’ customer. Food: The kitchen had to have been slammed between the reunion class and the typical Friday night clientele, but they were up for the challenge and came through. I ordered the beef brisket basket and my companions had the pollock and prime rib respectively. Everything was delicious, hot and nicely prepared Service: Other reviews have commented on the servers. What a terrific group of ambassadors for the establishment and my home town. Kudos to team Old Style

Great food and a present place to dine and enjoy your favorite beverage. Great experience every time we choose the Old Style, and we do that very often.

Went there on a Thursday evening to meet up with family coming from different parts of the US. West coast to East coast and some midwest as well. Went there, not busy at all. Received a waiter that was very friendly and was actually training a new employee. ordered our drinks and then preceded to wait approx 15 minutes for our drinks. Forgot a drink, mixed up another drink order. No big deal, just took it as one of those things. Waiter was very apologetic, asked for another beer again waited. Received part of the dinners from the group. Still no additional drink. Another order was brought and this one had the order mixed up, then I decided to get up and go get the beer. A lemonade was order and a glass of water was brought out instead after asking about the lemonade. The last dinner was forgotten and then when brought out, it was also incorrect. One of the couples had ordered dessert and it was the Key Lime Cheesecake, they said it was good, but this was not homemade. One of the other family member decided to split one and when it came out it was not a Key Lime but more a peach type of cheesecake. When questioned the waiter, he took it very offensive and stated he was color blind and it was the Key Lime, which clearly was not. Another waitress brought out the correct one. The waiter basically stated it was very busy that night because of him having another party table of about 12. Well, thank goodness he didn’t have another table that night and he was ACTUALLY training another person. Wow, all I can say is UNBELIEVABLE. I just hope the trainee does not take after his style of service. Customer Service is definitely not top priority there. Probably will not go there again or recommend this to anyone. Best of luck to that waiter. BTW, food was just OK nothing to brag about except for their Fries. Nacho’s are made with homemade potato chips, not your typical Nachos. Beef Brisket was OK, but had no regular BBQ sauce. and more could be listed but why bother.

AMAZING food! I went there this past year and the food was the perfect midwestern food you want when you are visiting! I got the potato chips with cheese and bacon, can’t say no to these! The drinks were really tasty too. I loved how clean and sweet everyone was in there. The only thing I was a little sad about was the lack of dancing, but I think it is supposed to be more of a restaurant as opposed to a dancing bar, so it makes sense! Loved it and will be back soon!

My wife and I stopped in to watch the Colts in their final playoff game of the year(unfortunately). From the outside, the bar is a touch intimidating. On the inside, it is very welcoming. The bartenders were super friendly. Their beer selection was top notch. I even had a Three Floyd’s Zombie Dust(currently the #6 beer in the world according to BeerAdvocate) that is pretty tough to find. The interior looks to have been remodeled fairly recently. The fish tank behind the bar was super cute. We didn’t eat, but the menu looked pretty solid. Good work Old Style Inn.

Cheeseburgers worth the drive and a very cool old bar. The beer is kept in old coolers beneath the bar. As the previous reviewer notes the regulars/locals are quite friendly so don’t be afraid to stop in. I’ll certainly do so again… in fact I wish I lived a little closer.

This place was your natural home town bar. They have a dance floor, pool table, and a dart board. They have wood paneling on the wall and tons of bar space. It is defiantly a hometown crowd. Locals were very nice. The bar tender was friendly and very talkative. We were only passing through for the night and this was the type of place that I would have called home if I lived in this small town. They do serve food, but only if you want it fired or a burger.
