Peggy’s Grooming

We are very Particular about who works on our dogs. Been going to Peggy’s for years and she is very good. She is very personable as well. I would highly recommend her.

My parents took their cavi-​poo in today. In several of their previous visits, they have had to wait HOURS for him to be finished, even with appointments. Today, with an appointment, he was kept at the groomer over 7 hours. When they brought him home, his hair was not cut at all like they had asked (even though he has been cut correctly before). When they took him back and explained how they wanted the horrible cut corrected on his face, they slaughtered him even worse. When my mother called and asked what happened, she was treated rudely on the phone and blatantly lied to. They will definitely be finding a new groomer who can understand how to cut a dog right without leaving him in a kennel all day or being rude to customers. Not worth the $ 40 to wait 6 – 8 weeks for her mistakes to grow out.

Been to Peggy’s a few times in Lodi and I just want to say that they do a real good job! I have been to a few other grooming places, however, here at Peggy’s they cut my dog’s hair the best so it is worth a drive from Stockton. I pay $ 40 for my pomeranian and that includes basic grooming and hair cut.
I took him this morning and when I left, I noticed a small cut underneath his arm. She told me to come back and took a look at it for me and assured me not to worry and she was extremely understanding and knowledgeable and rubbed some Neosporin on him. She gave us a free cut for our next service and even offered to pay a vet bill if I was worried about it enough to take him to the vet. I couldn’t thank her enough and told her a trip to the vet wouldn’t be necessary. Very nice about the situation. Extremely great service and I will definitely keep recommending everyone to choose Peggy’s!

Took our Yorkie puppy here for the first time and they did a great job. For a bath, grooming and nail clipping it was $ 40 which I thought was pretty fair. The girl at the front counter was also verry nice and I don’t think they were kicking my puppy around like a soccer ball… hey, you never know.

I noticed this cute little grooming shop on the way to my local BBQ joint and decided to bring my puppy in. I’ve tried trimming my dogs hair a few times myself and it was a nightmare because he was squirming all over the place and flipping out. I know is was probably a difficult task for Peggy’s grooming to wash, cut and trim his nails and when I arrived to pick him up and they brought him out he was so gorgeous. I asked them to cut his hair a little shorter and she did exactly what I wanted. She told me when she went to grab him out of the kennel that he began to jump back and forth trying to play with her which made me smile because he doesn’t usually adjust well to going anywhere without freaking out. He was very happy prancing around with his new haircut. She did such a fabulous job and I will definitely be returning here regularly with all of my pups.

I have to say Peggy’s Grooming is wonderful. Peggy knows her stuff. Very reasonably priced. Very experienced.

Peggy is just amazing with the pups. I take my english bulldog Elvis over there for a grooming and he always comes back looking and smelling fabulous even for a bulldog :) My grams has a little doggie named Chewy and weve been taking him there to get groomed once a month for many years now. Couldn’t ask for a nicer fun loving person to care for your dogs make sure you check it out great service and reasonable prices :)

Peggy’s grooming is great! I would highly recommend it! The shop is a laid back, open work environment so you can see everything going on — nothing is «hidden». They don’t use drugs or muzzles and they pull ear hair, cut nails and express anal glands. She specializes in poodles and schnauzers but she’s great at variations, if desired. My mini-​schnauzer always comes home smelling wonderful with a pretty ribbon around her neck and she’s never had clipper rash or any cuts. Peggy’s is wonderful!
