History

Established in 2003.

Dr. Larsson has had this optometry office since Sept 2003. The optical department under the name, Holden Optical, has been in business over 40 years.

Kathryn L.

Business Owner

Education: After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class in Auburn, CA, Dr. Larsson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the UC Davis. In May 1989, she received her doctorate from the Univ. of Houston College of Optometry. She had an externship at Castle AFB in Atwater, CA where she received vast experience in patient care. After graduation, she traveled to Mombasa, Kenya where she volunteered at the Lighthouse for Christ Eye Centre for one year. Here, Dr. Larsson developed a passion for international eyecare for the poor. Professional: Dr. Larsson’s interests are comprehensive primary care, including difficult contact lens fits, binocular vision, LASIK co-​management, dry eyes, eye diseases, ocular infections, foreign body removals, diabetic retinal exams and glaucoma management.

Community: She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists International and enjoys using her skills to help the poor with their vision overseas.
