Budget Inn of Lodi

Sam, you are a wonder! You and your family have made us so very comfortable, and welcomed.
For those of you who are not aware of this gem, Cherokee Lane can be a little noisy, the neighbors a bit rowdy, but this is an oasis. Surprisingly demure, elegant in it’s own way. If you happen to be in this area, this is definitely a fine choice! You will be taken care of, here.

The management here is incredibly nice. We bought some wine but didn’t have a corkscrew. So we asked the management if we could borrow one and they lent us one, and they also lent us two nice wine glasses to use for the night. The wine glasses were cleaner than the ones I have at home!
These folks should be supported.

very clean rooms and very quite. the managers are very nice and very reasonable rates. i would highly recommend this budget suites in lodi. this is my second stay here.

Clean, sweet manager. We had the battery go out on our smoke alarm which created an aggravating chirping sound. Hotel management came in right away and fixed the problem. We had a peaceful night and woke up well rested!

It was super clean and quiet. The bed was pretty comfortable too. I enjoyed my stay. My review is 5 stars but there was one thing I didn’t like. I asked the guy at the front to look at the toilet because it was acting funny (too much water filled the bowl). The guy asked me if I wanted to borrow a plunger… I said no and asked if he could take care of it. You should really not ask guests to plunge toilets… Nonetheless, I loved how comfy and clean the room was. That was most important to me :) I’ll let the plunger incident slide.

Thank you to the Unilocalers whose reviews led me here. My room is attractive, clean, comfortable, and quiet enough (I can hear cars on the nearby street, but the sound is mild). The bed was comfortable; good quality flat screen tv with cable; best of all, for me, is having a writing table, desk lamp, and comfortable chair. A business traveler would be pleased. I also very much appreciate having a fridge in the room. Thank you, Sam, and other staff I haven’t met who make this an inexpensive and welcoming refuge for tired travelers!

Sometimes in this world you stumble upon little gems hidden away. This was such a gem. I was here unfortunately here due to the Butte fire and couldn’t afford to stay at the places charging 3 times more. Meeting the owner Sam upon arrival, he had a pleasant smile and mindful ear to listen to why I was there and the situation that brought me to his abode. Not expecting much for the price of the room ($ 71), I was shocked to see how clean and well cared for the room was. Not the biggest of rooms, but cozy as they come. Shower was great with plenty of hot water and high pressure. Room smelled clean. Actually clean not chemically induced aromas. Checked out in the morning after sleeping great. 100% I would recommend this place to anyone that has a high standard but a smaller pocketbook! Thank you for doing good business.

The facilities for this place are kind of small, but inside of the rooms they are roomy and very comfy! I had the absolute best service from the family here and if I ever come back to Lodi, CA I will definitely be staying here. They were the most helpful and kind people I’ve ever met in California and if I didn’t live in Texas I would want to come back and see them more often! I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

I have to stay on a budget when traveling for work, so this place was a great deal. I give this place 4 stars because of the value and the kind owner/​operator. Room, bed, and bathroom were clean, and the fridge, microwave, iron, and coffee maker were a nice bonus. I stayed on a Monday, and it was very quiet. Sam, the owner took good care of me and was very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in far worse conditions for way more money. Overall, a good choice if you are on a budget. I would absolutely stay again.
