Such a cool winery! I have to say I love how they serve the different wines in a wine holder rack. I love that their wine names are all named after the different locks in Lockport. It gives it a local hometown feel. You are able to choose from three different types of wine tastings. They have the signature(which I chose), a dry red collection and a sweet wine collection. Since they only have five wines they also sell other wines from various other wineries. The prices are good. Only $ 7 to wine taste the signature wines. If you want to pair it with cheese(which I did) or chocolate it’s an extra $ 7. I say go for it if you are in the mood to chat and drink wine. It enhances the experience and you are able to split on cheese or chocolate pairing. If you get the cheese pairing you will love the champagne cheddar! So good! I didn’t buy any wine since I’m already taking home three wines from other wine trips but I will be getting one next time I’m in town.

We stopped here while waiting for the Lockport Cave tour to start. The hubs and I shared their signature flight. We had never been there before so that seemed like the best place to start. We liked one of the wines but not the others. I was disappointed. We aren’t big white wine drinkers but can appreciate white wines. We did not like the wines. Normally we purchase a case of wine when we go to do a tasting. We didn’t even buy a bottle. I will say the building is a historical building, which is fun to look at. Their was also a nice selection of gift items and snacks.

Came to visit my mom and she brought me here for some wine. First we did a wine tasting(5 different types of wine) for $ 10! Not bad. The bartender that helped us was really sweet and nice, she substituted sweet wines for others since my mom and i don’t like sweet wine. A really cute place to stop by, parking on the side of the building and very relaxed!

Unknown, would have liked to have started our wine trail tour here, but was turned away at opening time and told to come back in 20. Returned to find a busload crowding the bar, and no way to check out the wines with our limited time. Going elsewhere.

I went here for a Unilocal event once, and it became my favorite winery instantly. I generally am pretty blasé about wine, but I was really impressed with this place. Wish it was closer though – I’m making a special detour on my way to Niagara Falls to pick some up.

Flight of Five is a hidden gem in historic Lockport, New York. My boyfriend and I found ourselves exploring the area after a wedding a few weekends ago, and stumbled across Flight of Five. The building is the Old Town Hall, and has beautiful, ornate design elements. He and I shared the wine and cheese pairing. The wines were arranged from sweet to dry, but I found all of them to be very sweet. If I were to do another tasting, I would have opted for the dry flight. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience — great find!

The prettiest winery in the area! The ceiling is old tin and it’s just gorgeous. The owners seem to know a lot about the building and it’s history which is interesting to hear. They have custom flights, a list of recommend ones if you have a sweeter taste or dry. I tried the one that just has their wines since I like all wine. I ended up enjoying Lock 71 the best. I think it was a Niagara? I’m not sure but it was sweet and refreshing.

Flights of Five do not have their own vineyard but they do produce their wines from locally sourced grapes courtesy of vineyards in Niagara and the Finger Lakes region. My husband and I shared the wine and cheese pairing: generous pours of their five signature wines and an equally generous sampling of local artisan cheeses with crackers, nuts and dried fruit. I’m normally not a fan of reds until the bottom of the bottle, but I enjoyed Lock 67 from the first sip. It promises(and delivers) a soft cherry and plum nose, similar to my favorite fragrances, with a red currant and spice finish. Paired with the sweetness of a maple bacon cheese, it becomes pretty much irresistible. Lock 68 is a white wine that tastes just like champagne, minus the bubbles, so if you like your bubbly without the bubbles, there’s that, I guess. Not bad. Just not my favorite. Lock 69 is described as a tropical white wine. It made me think of herb roasted turkey. Strangely savory. My husband really liked it. Lock 70 promised cherry, raspberry and red currant. It’s a wonderful rosé. We’ll be picking up a bottle for a holiday party next month(as well as some artisan cheeses.) Lock 71 was oddly earthy for a dessert wine. My husband loved it. The prices are very reasonable and the ambiance is unique. They have other flights, including wines from other wineries, and also offer a wine and chocolate bark pairing. Great place!

This is my new favorite winery in the Niagara Trail, USA. I visited their beautiful location in the Old Town Hall building during Hallowine. Besides the building being a beautifully preserved historic building it’s also located in the middle of Lockport and in the middle of the actual locks. All in all is a beautiful location. The wines are surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because I am not a big fan of overly sweet wines or fruit juices and I feel that this region specializes in those. Their wines had good body and were aged well. My favorite two were Lock 69 and Canawler Chardonnay.

What a neat place! It’s located in a historic building, «Old City Hall» and is across the street from the Lockport Locks. The building itself is awesome, elevated ceiling, hanging decorative lights, definitely a relaxing atmosphere. I like the choices of flights you can pick from, there’s three. The classic flight of five, a semi-sweet to dessert flight, and one more. The flights are served in these cool wine glass holders and could be split with another person. There’s also an option to pair with cheese. All the staff was friendly and there are table areas to relax and drink at your own pace. Cute place overall and can accommodate a group. Afterwards, I recommend watching the locks across the street, and stopping for ice cream at Lake Effect ice cream. :)

This is a wine retailer more than a winery. They have their own line of wine, but there was no evidence of growing or producing in the immediate area. They do have wines and other niche food items from nearby businesses. We had the dry flight, but I wouldn’t qualify any as dry. It might be the driest available there, but not«dry» by general standards. We didn’t buy any wine.

This was our favorite stop on the wine trail. We opted for the signature five. We really enjoyed every tasting and opted to purchase the lock 69. They had crackers for you to much on and everyone here was very friendly. There was plenty of street parking on a Saturday. Come and watch the locks in action and then taste some great wine!

Very good wines & unique setting in an old courthouse. Only place I know of around here that serves their own wines plus samples from other local wineries too.

Very nice winery. From the man and woman that were working to the wine tasting, it was a great experience. Very welcoming.
