The Sudsy Dog

Do not go here! There are plenty of other groomers in the Tri Valley area. My one year old Tea Cup Yorkie, Tito, has been going to Yvette for all of his grooming appointments since he was a puppy. The last time he went will be the last time. I dropped him off at 11am and asked if there was any way he could be done by 12:30pm (I had a AT&T appointment at 1:00pm), she said it wasn’t possible and he would be done by 3pm. It wasn’t ideal but I was willing to make it work. Out of the blue I received a phone call from her at 12:00pm that he was done! (Shocking because I was told there was NO way it would be possible) I unfortunately was in a hurry to get to my cable appointment and didn’t take a look at her work (she had done just fine in the past so I didn’t think it was necessary). I arrived home and was shocked at how terrible the hair cut was. I would have much rather waited until 3 to pick him up than this terrible cut. Very disappointing service!
On a side note… I was talking to some friends about my experience and if they had any recommendations for other groomers. As soon as I mentioned the companies name they all cringed, so I am not the only unhappy customer. Wish I would have asked sooner.

Thank You, Thank You to Vicki and April! I recently rescued an elderly blind, deaf mini poodle. I’ve had a difficult time finding anyone who would even give him a try. Vicki and April were wonderful! Vicki called me to keep me informed during his appointment and he was calm, clean & looking wonderful when I picked him up. I highly recommend them.

Very bad experience. kept the young dog from 9 to 5:30 and called us to let us know that the dog was too active and would not stay still for a trim.
They started the trim and the poor thing looked all chopped up like a lawn mower had gone over her. Terrible and we had to go to someone else to fix the awful look.
Do not use them if you have an active dog.

I was taking my dog here for years but the service has went down hill in the past year. Last time I took my dog in at 9 a.m. and finally went to get him at 5 p.m. although they did not call. He wasn’t even done all the way. I paid 50 for nothing and I don’t plan on going back again.

Very disappointed in this place. Nice older lady, but that’s it. She quoted me $ 40 – 50 for a Shih Tzu that only needed a normal grooming (no mats). I picked her up 6.5 hours later to find a horrible hair cut. I could and have, done better. Ears were whacked up, half a visor over eyes, and uneven ALL over. It was terrible. Then get charged $ 60 instead of what I was quoted. Dog is limping like either her nails were cut too short or something happened. Not happy with this grooming facility at all, would never recommend it to anyone. Sorry!
