Never really stepped in a comic book store and just happened to pass by this gem! Got some posters, pop figures and a manga book. Will come back for some of the comics that they have, the manager or owner was hella nice too!

Great spot — this place is PACKED with comics, toys, etc. Conveniently in the heart of Downtown Livermore too.
The used comics actually sell for $ 2 (which is higher than the cover price) so I am not a fan of that but if you are trying to find an issue to finish out a book they will probably have it.
They do have a dollar section but they are packed so tight into boxes you cannot search through them with ease without taking a stack out and making a mess. (maybe loosen them up by adding one more box and redistributing?)
The owner is super nice. Fun store.

This place is easily one of the best places for any comic or collector toy goods in the bay area. From Funko Pop figures to old Star Wars toys and Gundam models, this place has got it all. The place is a tiny bit cluttered with toys being splayed all over the place, but messiness is somewhat expected at comic places. Even so, this shop has the newest comics and the oldest collectables youll find in the area. 10⁄10 You could spend an hour here just examining all the stuff.

San Francisco Bay Area, CA
I’ve been coming here since circa 1999 and this place always has what I’m looking for at a fair price. If you need variants, this is the spot. Most of my Skottie Youngs have been purchased here and, more often than not, they go for cover price.
Back issues for days, busts, toys, shirts, shelves of trades… if you want it, he probably has it. You’ll have to see it to believe it.
It’s a little cluttered, but most of the worthwhile shops are. I usually go in with my hit-​list in mind and, after about an hour, I happily walk out only to feel buyer’s remorse later. He has all the stuff you didn’t know you wanted.
And all the reviews about Bob bashing? What’s that about? He’s always been a super helpful, knowledgeable, and solid dude.
Definitely worth the trip.

This is definitely the best comic book shop in the area.
They have everything from current issues of all the modern comics, to endless back issues of older tittles to tons of bound collections. It’s like wonderland for comic book fans like my family.

This is by far one of the best comic shops I’ve been to. Such a wide variety of comics and action figures! I’ve seen so many cool things in this store and I love their location. My husband and I come here a lot with our kids. There’s something for everyone. The owner sometimes appears busy but if you strike up conversation, he’s a friendly guy and quite knowledgable on the comics as well. 5 stars.

Heading back to L.A. from San Francisco, we stopped in Livermore to grab some lunch, and just stumbled upon this place. Talk about a hidden gem, this place is great. Tons of comics, especially graphic novel collections. Shirts, a lot of figures, cards, games, etc. If you’re into a particular show or character, there’s probably something here for you. The small comic shop is a dying breed so I was happy to see there were a lot of customers coming in and out.

I love it here! They have all kinds of books, cards, and figurines for all kinds of geekery. It really is a neat place. I like looking at anything related to Doctor Who personally, and have found some really awesome graphic novels and comic books. They have toys (POP figurines and stuffies) as well, so you can really find anything you need for a gift or yourself!

My favorite place for comics and cards in the Tri-​valley area. Owner is informed, engaged, and always willing to assist. It is a small, one-​man shop, so don’t expect mega-​store prices or speed of service, but it’s competitive and personalized. Because it’s a one man show, shelves are a bit crowded at times, but spend some time looking; it’s worth it! I’ve found many rare books here and stop in every time I’m back in town. Highly recommend!

This is the coolest store in downtown Livermore, and it’s good for all ages. There’s really something for everyone here, and if you look hard enough you’ll find some pretty retro knick-​knacks here. Fantasy, Books & Games is a typical comic book store that caters to the inner nerds of Livermore folk, and thank goodness we have it!
I always end up buying more than I need to here, but their Pokemon and Yugioh cards are super cheap. I got a pretty fat stack of Yugioh cards (don’t judge) for like $ 3 and I walked out of there feeling so stoked about my new cards lol.
They have posters, cards, comics, animé/​manga, toys, games, books, shirts, action figures, etc. The list could go on for days; and you really can’t go wrong with anything here. They have high quality stuff.
Prices can get pretty high, but overall I’d say your best bet is buying some of the used stuff; it’s a great deal! I love this store!

Fantasy Books & Games is pretty much what comes to mind when you envision a comic book store: trading cards, manga, action figures, comic books, etc. They also have a number of t-​shirts and board games, and various other ephemera.
I must say that they have a pretty good collection of manga titles.
I don’t often buy things here because the prices are SO expensive. However, sometimes they do huge sales on the sidewalk and the deals are fantastic. They also have a clearance section in the store that’s more than decent — and of course, let’s not forget Free Comicbook Day!

I love this place!
I hardly come here as it’s so far away from me, but I recently went on a hunt looking for a particular statue and I decided to make my way here.
This is one of the largest comic book stores in the Bay Area and it’s in the middle of some prime real estate of downtown Livermore. The owner is a nice guy and is often found at the counter, so if you have any questions head for the cash register as he’ll most likely be there.
This place has a lot of comics. Mostly trades and newer stuff, but they do have a decent size back issue selection, but almost no silver age stuff. So if you’re looking for some classic Lee/​Kirby comics, look elsewhere.
Still, I love the location and wish I could find more excuses to come here, but alas, it’s not always meant to be. Still, it’s a treat when I do come to visit.

Great comic book store. It’s a little cramped but only because they have a plethora of items at great prices. I would have to say the only criticism is it’s disorganization but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they don’t rip you off for variant cover books or autograph/​sketch covers. Big kids section which is a serious plus. Nice back stock collection again at reasonable prices. If you’re in the area stop by.
