The Crazy Merchant, Inc. is a jewelry, gift, beading store and event space right near the heart of Littleton, Colorado. Located only one block east of Santa Fe on Belleview Ave., you can’t miss the GIANT turquoise building.

Manager

Hi, I’m the General Manager for The Crazy Merchant, Inc. I am a Colorado native and a CSU alumnus. I graduated from CSU with a degrees Business and Fashion Merchandising. I have been intermittently working for The Crazy Merchant, Inc. for the past 15 years. My beading style is contemporary classic and I love keeping up with the latest fashions and styles. I also have a lot of passion for website design and development and information technology. When I’m not at the store you can find me at the nearest golf course, on the ski slope with my husband, or watching my Denver Broncos. I love The Crazy Merchant, Inc. with all my heart and couldn’t ask more amazing individuals to work with.

This place is a priceless community-​building resource. The store is huge and fun, with several round tables where you can sit and work on your projects. Each table holds a small set of tools and other necessities. The helpful, knowledgeable, and talented staff circulate, and will help you with your design and technical aspects of your piece if you want. Staff and customers are friendly, and normally you will be greeted at the door by a staff member and made to feel at home. Often refreshments are served. There is a huge selection of fabulous beads and also findings and other things you may need for your work. Saturdays are buzzing with lots of people enjoying themselves and creating inspiring pieces of jewelry — some are truly magnificent. What a treasure!

I was so excited to visit this location. Working at a bead store all through college, I love to meet people with the same love of creating their own jewelry. This place looked amazing due to size and reviews but I was deeply disappointed. Here is our experience in a nutshell.
Walk in with my 2 friends, one bride, one bridesmaid to purchase materials for wedding jewelry.
Welcomed with a lack of enthusiasm and judgement. Asked where the seed beads were. Told to go somewhere else. Thought I’d try again and get my findings here.
Received attitude when I asked about clean and not ornate SS caps for my multi-​strand necklace. Told SS was a bad idea because it was just going to tarnish.
Asked where clasps were. Received attitude for not knowing the oddly placed cubby that held clasps. Thanks but no thanks.
All in all I was extremely disappointed. I’m not sure if everyone who walks in there looks the same but apparently we did not fit their bill of worthy customers.
It’s a shame to make people feel unwanted period. In such a unique creative setting, it’s even more a shame to turn away people who might be new to your business or excited to learn more about the craft.

Stubled along this place with a coupon for a jewelry class. I like right down the road and didn’t even realize it was here! The class was a lot of fun and we learned a lot about how to properly make jewelry. We stuck around after class and did a bit more shopping! The prices seem a bit spendy, but the selection is amazing. I took what I learned from our class and purchased some supplies to make the jewelry for my wedding and received a lot of compliments on it!

Littleton, CO
Celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday party here with a few of her friends. Kids got to make a bracelet and necklace, and they even threw in a bookmark. We had a large room to ourselves that had good workspace for making our jewelry and pizza and drinks afterwards. Service was excellent.
