After graduating from beauty school Yong assisted for over a year with a high-​end salon located in the cherry creek area, which she then transitioned into a hairstylist and continued her educational needs with Vidal Sassoon Academy in LA, California and Toni & Guy Academy in Dallas, TX. Yong continues to place education as a must in her lifestyle and will continue expanding her technique. While in beauty school, she had dreams and hopes of owning her own salon; and her expectations for a successful, high-​end salon are nowhere near standard. The goals and expectations for Salon Alibi are quality service and an excellent experience for every client that walks in, be it an appointment or a passerby.
