I have to disagree with the other reviews on this page. Shelly cleans our house at a very reasonable rate, and does an extremely thorough job. I would recommend her to anyone!

We had a terrible experience with this service, and the woman in charge. We made the mistake of trying a groupon deal on a move-​out cleaning. The company website has an extensive list of cleaning services included with this type of cleaning, and it sounded like exactly what we needed. The owner quoted us $ 100 to perform the work, which was about half of anywhere else that we had checked. Sounded great, but turned out too good to be true. The crew did clean, but only did about half of the work that we expected. They sent my wife a text stating that our house was too dirty to clean for $ 100, or in the two hours they alotted. So they just left. When we got to the house, and saw the condition we tried to talk with the owner. She just yelled and talked over my wife the whole time, and finally hung up on us. Then she had the audacity to blame us for having too dirty of a house. Well, news flash, that’s why we hired you!!! If it takes you longer to clean than expected, then maybe you should have looked at the house before you accepted the agreement to clean at that price. But, apparently, these people operate under the motto: «the customer’s always wrong.» Totally unprofessional. Don’t use this service under any circumstances.

AWFUL! Do not buy her services on Groupon! Shelley was suppose to show up at 2:00. Did not show up until 4:30. Had to literally kick her out at 11:00 so I could get my key back. My friend even had to help her take her stuff down to her car to ensure she left. She cleaned the fridge and microwave and steamed the wood floors. Made sure to leave cigarette buds on the patio too. That is it.
So when I hired a move out clean thinking maybe 3 hours for a 1 bedroom that is completely empty– I was wrong. Very Wrong.
Do not recommend at all and I am disgusted I paid her at the beginning.

Shelly Baker, is the owner, and as their company name, SHE Is An ANGEL!, to make a long story short my son, who leaved in the mountains, moved last week, still in need to get house clean and garbage out. He moved 5 hours away, I leave in Illinois, kept making calls for a cleaning service, and no luck, the house location was too far.
I called Shelly, she agreed right away, her fee was very, very affordable,. She sent me pics of before and after, I could not believe it! She did an amazing job!
the job took her probably double the time, and she never mention charging more… out of decency and fairness I offer to send her extra.
As a profesional and personally, I am so glad I met her! I wish she would move to Illinois!
I am so happy, that I was so overwhelmed trying to get some one to go clean, that I did not have time to check the reviews in Unilocal,I do it all the time.
Shelly takes pride in what she does, she cleaned like an angel, kept me informed from miles away, did so much more then what I asked, she had an actual concern for my son getting his security deposit.
Ignore all the hateful reviews that people posted! Try her, you will just love her work!

Hired Shelley to come help me clean. She offered a special of 4 hours for $ 75. Growing up using cleaning services, I new that to be about average for a one-​person general clean (though higher than many I have used). She was to help me clean my house and get things organized before the baby comes (I am going to be having a baby in about a week) and when I asked her what day she was available, she chose to come Tuesday. I told her it would have to be in the morning as I have an early afternoon doctors appointment. She was scheduled from 10 – 2 and told me she planned on being there before 10 am. I called at 10:15 and she had not left her house yet, then proceeded to tell me that she needed to get gas and food because she can’t really work without eating something. I asked if we could reschedule since I would have to leave before she could finish and she insisted on coming anyways and split the time between two days. She supposedly showed up at around 11:15, though I never saw her. To be honest, I got a very bad vibe from her. I will be finding another, actually reputable company to work with.

One of the worst cleaning companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with, and that is saying something. We hired her to do a move out turnover clean of a rental with the strict guidelines that carpet cleaning would be done the next day. We received an invoice for 9.5 hours of work the next day, with the condo not even vacuumed, which caused us to have to reschedule the carpet cleaning.
In 9.5 hours you couldn’t manage to vacuum any of the carpet in this 1000 Sq ft unit? Not too mention that 9.5 hours is over a full days work. This condo was not nearly that dirty, and the estimate was about 3 hours worth of work. We received an email after we had requested she go back and finish the job that said something along the lines of «after being 1.5 hours over the time you estimated I decided I would rather do the cleaning in the time you estimated rather than be accused of taken advantage by a cleaner» so on so forth.
We manage hundreds of units, with our company owner having been in business 15 years. You have no clue how to «professionally» clean a vacant unit. We refuse to pay an invoice for incomplete work. A move out clean should have no questionable areas, no debris anywhere, smell fresh and should SHINE.
An abbreviated list of the issues we found after a walk through include: stainless steel appliances streaked after improper cleaner used, dog hair everywhere including baseboards and corners of all rooms, HVAC vents full of debris, dirt and crumbs, no blinds dusted, cobwebs on every light fixture, insides of appliances not cleaned, no toilets cleaned etc etc etc
We ended up paying $ 100 to end the contact between us, after receiving a 5 page email rambling incoherently about why all those areas were missed. You cost us time and money and for that you are truly deserving of a one star review.

Oh lordy, do not use this company. See other 1 star reviews. We called Shelly the day before she was scheduled to come, to confirm the time she’d arrive, and got «oops, I have court tomorrow morning». So we rescheduled for 2 days later. We’d hired a 2 person team for 3 hours, and only 1 person came. We had requested a deep, move in/​out cleaning. Whole areas of our house weren’t touched. Totally unreliable.

Shelly A. Baker is the owner and is very unprofessional, smells like smoke and doesn’t know how to clean!!! I purchased a voucher for her to clean my home for 2 hours and the whole time she was there, she wanted to tell me about her problems! She was constantly on her cell taking personal phone calls. When I walked up to my brand new stainless steel frig, I noticed large deep scratches on it and when I confronted her about it, she said she couldn’t figure out how that could have happened. When I went to see if she was using my Kirby vac correctly, she wasn’t, After she left (before the full two hours) I was shocked to find that she did not clean/​wipe down the counters in the main bathroom or even make my bed!!!
I sent her an email for the repair and here is her exact quote: «I am not in a position to pay for these products, nor am I in a position to admit guilt to causing the scratches on your refrigerator.» So in other words, she doesn’t have a very successful business if she doesn’t have any money!
