I miss Danny’s but glad to come to Palumbos. I always have a good conversation w the owner. Pizza is ok but I really enjoy the subs.

This review might be unfair… they just redid the place and it’s possible they have new owners? I ate here at least 4 times last year, and the pizza was rubbery and the cheese consistently undercooked. I don’t know why (maybe because it’s close), but growing up my parents ordered from here every week, and we were consistently disappointed. This place was known locally to be run by a bunch of stoners who messed up orders and couldn’t find their way out of a pizza box. Hope to give it a shot and re-​review!

New Jersey is filled with mom and pop pizza shops. In the Eatontown area alone, I can probably name 6 – 7 all within 10 minutes from each other. I drove by this place a few times to give it a shot. I think for all the times I’ve been up there, I know why it hasn’t been recommended by the locals.
Pizza is very greasy and not that great. The crust is chewy, but not the good kind of chewy. Almost a little stale. They have an «oven» to reheat the pizza which is the size of a toaster oven.
They also charge extra for refills. Not cool bro.
