Mendocino Inn & Spa

Great, relaxing atmosphere. Perfect location just outside of town. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Already thinking about our next visit.

Our stay was one of the most thoughtful, professional and wholesome of the many stays we have had at B&Bs along the coast of California and Oregon. The entire experience was luxurious. Fabulous décor, amenities, views, aromas and scents. The highlight for us and our two kids was the wholesome breakfast while enjoying the views of the ocean and the neighboring lama farm! I felt so well taken care of in this little gem. We cannot wait to come back!

Booked a room for a birthday trip. Couldn’t have picked a better place.
First, a great location just south of Mendocino. Right next to a state park with great hiking trails and across for the headlands which is also good for walking.
Knew we would love the place as we pulled in the driveway. Felt comfortable as soon as we saw it. The innkeeper Tina could not have been more accommodating. Surprised with a bottle of wine on arrival and guided to a beautiful room with a nice view of the garden.
Then she built us a fire in the great room and we spent the early evening relaxing there.
The rooms were great and it was nice to experience the tempurpedic bed.
Got a great nights sleep and can’t wait to return

The girlfriend and I wanted to get (far) away from the city for a weekend and came upon this place. The price seemed almost too good to be true, compared to other spots in town that were on par or even seemingly lower quality.
However, we arrived and everything was great. The grounds are beautiful and secluded, the room was spacious, the bed tempurpedic bed was wonderful, breakfast in bed was delicious, and Tina was a terrific host.
We got exactly what we were looking for out of this mini vacation and it was primarily because of this place. We would definitely go back again, and hopefully soon before it gets discovered and the prices go up!

My husband and I came to Mendocino for our 3 year anniversary and stayed here. The manager, Tina, was amazing from the get go. We found ourselves on a weird road late at night and she called us to let us know where to reach her for late check in (which I was getting increasingly worried about the later it got). She greeted us at the entrance (with wine!) and gave us a tour of the inn, which is gorgeous and cozy. The room had a separate living area with a table, couch, fireplace, and tv. It overlooked the back garden and you could see the ocean off to the right. It was quiet and secluded, with only 10 rooms in the inn. We booked a couples massage on site in a private room, and the gals were sweet and amazing. One of the better massages we have had :) there are also two hot tubs on site, one which you can request to reserve for some private time. They are outside among the trees and stars :) this place was homey and the manager Tina is amazing. I highly recommend this place! It is located only 2 miles south of Mendocino on highway 1, which is basically a main drag for Mendocino and fort Bragg.

This past weekend my brothers and I wanted to have our own little road trip so we decided to come stay at the Mendocino Inn and Spa! It was very close to the beach, the property was beautiful, the scenery was just wow, breakfast in bed, fantastic management, hot tub, and the town is right down the road! Everything we were looking for we had found in this Inn and Spa! This weekend was just perfect and we can’t wait to come back! Totally worth it and will relax your mind from everything! We got back and had already started planning out the next time we would come! Just the perfect weekend!

We visited Mendocino Inn and Spa over the labor day weekend. Right from the moment we entered the property we knew this was a winner. From the décor in the lobby to the furnishings in the rooms and the sitting areas on the decks this property is an 11 on 10. The rooms are huge suites with seating space for 6 – 7 people. Very close to downtown Mendocino and local attractions /​parks. The management is beyond amazing. You can feel their passion for customer satisfaction and pride of their property with every interaction. All they want is happy, satisfied guests. Highly recommend a stay here.
