Donald Nuckel & Company

These are the most rude and ignorant people I have ever had to deal with. Not only did they use vulgar disgusting language when I called to make a complaint, but they continued to just hang up the phone instead of talking.
A woman named Mia illegally ran my credit and then proceeded to say well If you have a problem I did that then call your attorney. They work under illegal practices and the owner Donald Nuckel whom I had the displeasure of speaking with told me to stop fucking calling. And in addition to credit fraud, they fail to fix anything in my apartment, even after their «maintenance» people say it needs to be fixed immediately.
Meanwhile, I pay my rent every month on time, sometimes even early. They are the WORST landlords I have ever dealt with. DO NOT rent from these disgusting low life trash people.
UPDATE:
In addition to my first review and the problems I had while living at this HORRIBLE place I could still not get away from them when trying to rent a new apartment. My current apartment wanted a reference from these people saying I paid my rent on time and never had any trouble with them, but when contacted they said we don’t do that. I called after and explained the situation to which a woman with an Asian accident said «I don’t give a fuck what you want. I don’t have to do anything for you and I’m not going to.» Another person then proceeded to harass and say nasty things to the woman from my current apartment when she inquired why they were being so difficult. Fortunately my new apartment realized what sleezy people they were trying to get information from and just forgoed that part for us. But be warned these people at Donald Nuckle will haunt you even after you leave. They are the worst people to rent from. If I could give them negative stars I would…

Gilbert Manor Apartments
Great location if you take the 161 bus (NJ Transit) into the city. The stop is right outside your door.
The apartments are older and they only offer one bedroom units. However, each unit is over 700 square feet and there is plenty of resident parking. There’s no charge for having multiple vehicles but there is a charge if you’re storing a work vehicle here.
The floors are hardwood throughout. Good counter space and storage in the kitchen. Bathroom could use a remodel but at least there’s storage and the shower heads are high.
You have to provide your own A/​C and it has to be approved and installed by the landlord. All utilities aside from electric are included in the rent; which is nice.
Decent apartment for the price. Not so great if you’re a fan of amenities.
