In addition to my first review and the problems I had while living at this HORRIBLE place I could still not get away from them when trying to rent a new apartment. My current apartment wanted a reference from these people saying I paid my rent on time and never had any trouble with them, but when contacted they said we don’t do that. I called after and explained the situation to which a woman with an Asian accident said«I don’t give a fuck what you want. I don’t have to do anything for you and I’m not going to.» Another person then proceeded to harass and say nasty things to the woman from my current apartment when she inquired why they were being so difficult. Fortunately my new apartment realized what sleezy people they were trying to get information from and just forgoed that part for us. But be warned these people at Donald Nuckle will haunt you even after you leave. They are the worst people to rent from. If I could give them negative stars I would…

I’m still having night terrors after renting here. The plumbing is very old and units share plumbing so your toilet may be leaking into your neighbor below and you would have no idea. Grit used to flow up into the sink and tub when the adjacent neighbors ran their water a lot. Once, I asked the super to fix a minor leaking faucet and the next time I turned on the faucet it became a gushing leak so instead of fixing it, he made it worse. The super came more times than I can count to fix the toilet and always left it running. The landlord seems like he will do anything for money and/or power. He had an apartment right on premises where you could watch him grill, which was a bit amusing watching his staff grill for him(as two of my windows were facing his grill); however, tenants were not allowed to grill themselves. If they find a reason not to like you they will figure out a way to harass you. They towed my car on a Tuesday without giving me proper warning before my insurance company had a chance to pick it up after it was involved in a six car accident on the prior Wednesday. I was still driving it around on Thursday and Friday before the appraiser from my insurance company recommended that I stop driving and I call to make an appointment with their towing company on the following Monday. The car was parked in a legal spot that I often parked in – but they never called me and the super told a neighbor he did not know it was my car even though the had a parking tag that they had mailed to me, and the plates which they had record of to mail the parking tag; I think my only fault was I came from a long weekend because my step-father was suddenly hospitalized. One of my biggest concerns was that I had over $ 1000 of missing items from my apartment and no one else entered the apartment besides me and the landlord’s employees. Oh, and the Little Ferry police station is on a street named after the landlord. They seem to have a lot of nice new vehicles. I lived there for more than 15 years and always paid the rent on time, but after this nonsense, forget about it. They suck!
