Specialties
Historic accommodations with 18th Century luxury and 21st Century comfort. Beautiful lodgings surrounded by pastoral quality grounds. In a secluded valley on 120 acres, between a lake and a natural park, Speedwell Forge offers a sanctuary to it’s guests. Wake to a delicious three course breakfast using fruits and vegetables from local farms. After lingering a bit over your second cup of tea or coffee, you can take a walk over to the Wolf Sanctuary of PA, or just sit on the porch and enjoy natures beauty. We cater to dietary restrictions, allergies and food life styles such as vegan and vegetarian.
History
Established in 2006.
When I was three years old I told my grandma this was my house. Little did I know I would share it as a bed and breakfast, but that is exactly what I did. Today my home is open and serves as a respite to travelers. Come stay a while and if you wish we can share stories or dreams that become reality and reality that seems like a dream. Check out my Inn Page for more information or just come stay for a few days and let Speedwell Forge wrap around you and take you back to a quieter time.
