History

Established in 2002.

Dr. Clayton J. Stitzel, a Lancaster County native, graduated from Manheim Central High School before attending Penn State University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (an advanced study of biomechanics) before attending the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. While attending Palmer College, Dr. Stitzel received research honors and was inducted into the school’s research fraternity.

Now in private practice, Dr. Stitzel continues his research in scoliosis with the Pettibon Spinal Biomechanics Institute and as a member of the board of directors for the CLEAR Institute. He is a national and international lecturer in the field of scoliosis and co-​developed the scoliosis traction chair.

As a leader amongst scoliosis specialists in PA, Dr. Stitzel is regarded as one of the foremost experts on scoliosis exercise based treatments.

A native to Pennsylvania, Dr. Clayton J. Stitzel, knew from early on that he wanted to serve those with scoliosis in Pennsylvania. To achieve this goal Dr. Stitzel attended Penn State University where he received his bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Kinesiology before attending the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. Dr. Stitzel was inducted into Palmer College’s research fraternity where he also received research honors.

His additional accolades include being a member of the board of directors for the CLEAR Institute. He is also an international lecturer on scoliosis and co-​developed the scoliosis traction chair. Dr. Stitzel now operates a private practice that is dedicated to providing the best scoliosis treatment in Pennsylvania.
