Dixie 24 Hour Wrecker Service

Dixie «24 hour» wrecking services is a terrible name for this company. I’m not sure what mental state the mechanic was in when he recommend Dixie. I’m not sure if it’s my bitterness of being left broken down on the side of the road at 3 AM, calling for 3 hours, or when someone finally answered the phone I was greeted by an ill-​manner woman. It might have been when a uncivilized man hung up on me & said to call back at 6. If you’re in an emergency go somewhere else!

I have been doing Business with Dixie Wrecker for over 25 years now. I have always had quick responses and reliable services. I would recommend them to my family and friends. Great people, great service.

These guys saved my butt. last week I got a flat tire while in the left lane of I-​20. I had to go to the left shoulder, where a state trooper pulled over behind me. I then realized my spare tire was also flat. the state trooper offered to call a wrecker for me, and these are the guys he called. it took them maybe 20 – 30 minutes to show up, which is actually shorter than I expected, and the guy who showed up was very friendly and got my truck hooked up in probably 90 seconds flat. I had him take it to a tire place not very far from where we were and he was nice enough to only charge me the hookup fee, $ 50. the whole experience of having to get your car towed is usually not a good one but it could have been a lot worse as far as I’m concerned. the whole thing really only took about 45 minutes. I hope you don’t ever a tow truck, but if you do, I would definitely recommend calling these guys.
