Business Owner

Candy is the Owner and Senior Designer at Curtain Call Creations, Inc. Her design philosophy is to bring out the best of her clients style and desires and always delivers on budget. She firmly believes fostering a professional, yet comfortable partnership with her clients has been the key to her success.

Candy describes herself as «the luckiest person, ever!» Sharing her life is David her husband, her two wonderful sons, Brock and Brian and two crazy cats named Frank & Beans. She feels blessed to have such a loving family, wonderful friends, and good health. Candy smiles (something she does a lot) and admits to being «a little crazy, beautiful, artistic, passionate, funny, hardworking, complicated… and most of all… happy.»

I have an update regarding the status of my complaint against Curtain Call and Candy Kloster. Now add LIAR to my long list of complaints. See my original negative posting from 6÷25÷14.
I alleged breach of contract and fraudulent inducement to the IL Attorney General office. She LIED in her response to them. On 8−7−14 Candy wrote to the IL AG that she informed me that she couldn’t complete my project because «the fabric selected is no longer available.» This is the FIRST time she ever mentioned anything regarding the fabric or a problem with the treatments and never directly to me. I have 50 emails and texts that she never mentioned any issue with the fabric. In fact, before she cancelled my ½ completed order (6 months after taking my money), the last words from her regarding my treatments were that she was ready to complete the install in April! So now 3 months after cancelling my December 2013 order in May 2014 «due to circumstances beyond her control» and blaming her health, «PRAY FOR HER» she told me, now she tells the IL AG office that it was the fabric and that she told the client (me) that is why she cancelled the order. LIAR! LIAR! She never even provided any excuse except she made me think she was dying! Did you even have a health crisis you crazy lying B?
Bottom line, she delivered half of a custom order and did NOT deliver the balance that was supposed TO MATCH for who knows what real reason and who knows what really happened to my curtains that she told me were complete and ready to be installed in April. Candy refuses to take back and refund the $ 1,200 cornice that was supposed to MATCH the other cornices that she chose not to deliver despite our contract. I call that BREACH.
Beware of the unethical business practices of Curtain Call Creations. I posted screen shots of the texts from Candy to me that proves my allegations in my profile.
God am I sorry I stumbled onto her website. I recommend you hire someone you personally know and trust because she seemed like a nice old lady. HA!

My husband and I were building a new home and Candy was able to help us achieve our vision. She has a great eye for color and design! She made picking out colors, tile and the design for the tile, lighting fixtures and countertops so easy! We would still be trying to pick things out if not for her, she saved us a lot of time! She assisted us with furniture selection for our great room and we have some window treatments being installed this week, which I am sure will be wonderful. I am sure she can assist you with any decorating need you may have! We will continue to use her services as we work to make our house a beautiful home!

Candy is wonderful! She helped me prioritize where I needed curtains the most-​the living room. She really stayed true to my style as well as making the curtains flow with the rest of the room. She also gave me lots of free design ideas that were either free or low cost that really helped make the entire living room perfect. We plan to use her again!
