Chop’s Barbershop

Great first experience, will be back for my next cut. Joe listened to what I wanted and executed my cut just as we had talked about. I appreciated that he took his time, and didn’t rush. He wasn’t slow, but you can tell he was looking at the details. I had my three year old also get a cut from him. I wasn’t quite sure if he would sit, since it wasn’t the mall shop with toy car chairs to sit in, but Joe was very patient and his cut turned out great. Joe also made suggestions based on my son’s hair. Finally, i bought some of his pomade. I’m very happy with the product compared to some other famous pomade brands out there. Looking forward to the next cut.

Joe is an amazing barber with and old fashioned touch. He believes that a trip to the barber should be an experience and not just a cut. When you sit in Joe’s chair you know you are going to get a great looking fresh cut. He has passion for the business anyone can learn how to use the tools but if you do not have the passion for it you are just going through the paces. He is an artist and every client is a blank canvas and it is his job to make that canvas a masterpiece and believe me he does. I enjoy my visits to his shop, he has a great personality, he has a great skill set, and always does a great job. Being a fellow Barber myself I am very picky about my look as well. He hits the nail on the head every time.

Everytime I go in, I always come out with a fresh, clean and crisp cut. He enjoys his craft, and is always personable. A talented barber who believes in an old fashioned touch. Has his own pomade that holds for a full days work, and is beyond easy to wash out. A complete one stop shop, thank you for the great experience!

I’ve been going to Joe for years and I can honestly say he’s one of the greatest barbers I have ever met. As good as he is a barber, he is an even better man, very family and community oriented. He will make a great addition to the Lisle community.

Outstanding barber, dedicated to his craft! You want it done right, Joe is the man to see. The straight razor shave he does is amazing, u can’t get any closer than that. I won’t go anywhere else. So give him a try and u won’t either.

A true barber and master of his craft. I can say that about Joe because I’ve been getting my haircut from him since before he did it for a living. Since before he moved out of the city when I could walk a few blocks to get my haircut… As opposed to now, when I choose to fight traffic and travel out of the city to receive a haircut from him, rather than choose a more convenient location. I’ve seen his progression from the beginning to where he is now… And there’s no doubt his skill and understanding of the trade has grown exponentially. Along with that great skill, is a great personality and someone who cares very much about his friends, family and customers. You’re not just getting a guy who’s great at what he does… You’re also getting a great guy! In the end it’s not just about the end result… It’s about the experience! So I suggest that you sit down in one of his chairs and look better, feel better than in your average salon or barber shop. I’m extremely excited for his new place to open and I know he’s gonna do very well!

I’m super excited about Chop’s opening! Joe has been cutting my hair for two years, and he consistently delivers the best cuts I’ve ever had. His Chop’s pomade is also an amazing product, been using Joe’s Pig Pen products since their inception, and have been nothing but 100% happy with the results.
