Advanced Lisle Dental

Dr. Patel is amazing! Advanced Lisle Dental was my first time back to a dentist after years of being scared by them. He really made me feel safe and relaxed. I got a root canal done and it was 100% painless and very quick. The Dr really knows how to make you feel comfortable and rocks at what he does. He cares about his patients and doesn’t see them as just dollar signs. This will definitely be my go to for dental care in the future!

Dr. Patel is very nice and good at what he does. I like to tell people he rebuilt my mouth because he basically did.
If your nervous or uncomfortable about going to the dentist, he’s your man. Anxiety or nervousness can be checked at the door.
I also feel like he’s in it to make me feel good and not just for the money, I know a lot of people have concerns that dentists, who try to sell you stuff you could do without, but Dr. Patel isn’t that guy. I’ve been seeing him for over 5 years and can’t imagine ever switching.
He has an excellent chair side manner and works very quickly, especially when it’s a less than comfortable procedure, and that keeps he his well taken care of happy patient.

Looking for a new dentist? Advanced lisle dental would be a great switch. I went in with a Groupon for a cleaning, exam, xrays and whitening. And found out I had cavities in the process. Dr. Patel was super funny, and made the experience easy. He went in, got out. It was a very painless process. His staff are nothing but helpful and incredibly nice. The facility itself is beautiful, as they are a newer facility, the 45 teeth whitening process went by quickly as they provide a Netflix movie for you the whole time. Constantly check on you if you need anything, and make you feel a priority when you are there the whole time. Absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I found Dr. Patel to be very well informed and a practiced dentist.
Here is an account of my time with Dr. Patel. There are always two sides to every story:
1. Dental assistants are wonderful. They made me feel comfortable and at ease at all times and setting up appointments is always easy. I had a root canal done yesterday and Dr. Patel knew I was terrified. After a moment he brought in one of his assistants and had her talk to me and walk me through what he was doing. She got me to laugh and got my mind off of the procedure. It was special attention like that that I really appreciated.
2. My time with Dr. Patel was over an hour and a half but that is because I had to have an extensive root canal, a few more pictures here and there to make sure everything went well, and wait time for the numbing to set in before he did any work, which I appreciated. Anytime you go to a dentist and are a new patient you should expect to have some wait time as they get to know you and do all the primary check ups on your teeth.
3. After my xrays were taken on my first visit and my second visit after my root canal, Dr. Patel pointed out everything he saw and allowed me to ask questions. He would then make sure I understood and saw what he was talking about. Even his assistant would walk me through my xrays to get a look at what they were seeing. It was very obvious that I had a cavity and needed a root canal. Dr. Patel is the dentist and he acted that way. He didn’t ask me if I saw the problem myself before he pointed it out. Even after this he still said I had great teeth but I needed to improve on my flossing which is in line with any and all dentists I have ever had before.
4. Dr. Patel went on to explain he saw that I had braces to correct my bite and that I stopped wearing my retainer. He also mentioned how much better my teeth would be if I did floss on a daily basis and came in for 6 month cleanings. From every dentist I ever had, cleanings are suppose to be done every 6 months not every 8 – 13 months. You also need to be consistent with your flossing for it to matter not just start flossing once a day for 6 months and expect your teeth to be impeccable.
5. At this point I thanked Dr. Patel for his kindness and specialized attention he gave me to make me feel better about getting a root canal. He promised me it would not hurt and if it did he would stop immediately. Which he did when I told him I could feel a little. He was very up front with me about my teeth and told the truth.
