i ordered a peach pie a month in advance and was told they could do it. I called last week to confirm in case I needed to make other arrangements and was assured they had my order. iI show up today and no pie. The baker says to give him a few hours and he will call me. And I received no call. Not a good first impression of the new owners. I dont think I will go back

Walked inside, and it was just a mess. No signage, prices, or menus. A cheerful clerk explained that they had only opened in June… well, 4 months should be enough to clean up and organize things. Donuts and cookies are basically all they have right now. I got a half-dozen donuts. The chocolate donut was soggy with grease and overly sweet. The regular«vanilla» donuts are better. I can’t really recommend this place yet, but the service was great.

It’s local and home made. If you like to have something different that the food by the masses(aka Dunkin), head to Keller’s.

I loved this place and patronized it for nearly 50 years. The new owners have definitely lost something in trying to replicate the original Keller’s recipes. One of my favorites was the chocolate cake dough donuts. By no means is the chocolate frosting as good as Keller’s was. Jelly pies not as good either. There seems to be a great inconsistency in products.

I’ve only been to Keller’s twice before the ownership change, thus if the recipe’s changed it wouldn’t stand out to me. My third trip was on a Sunday morning. They had one young lady working the counter and even thou the shop had a few customers, she wasn’t too busy to hold a conversation. I came just to get one glazed donut and ended up with a few donuts and this petite raspberry filled pastry that another customer highly recommended. Everything was delicious. I heard another customer doubtfully ask if they had coffee… they do. The coffee question made me ponder why isn’t the coffee in a more prominent location and why aren’t they asking customers if they want coffee as well. The donuts and pastries are great but this place could be so much more. This shop is shabby without the chic, maybe they should rename it Shabby Sweets. The size of space is not bad, but it’s dingy and cluttered with no seats. Yes, I believe there is enough room for seats. I love the notion of there being a neighborhood donut shop other than the big name chain, but sometimes I want to sit, sip, surf and nibble.

What happened. First time back since the new ownership. I like the fact they sell some drinks, sodas and juices but the donuts. They are much smaller than the originals, and they taste totally different. Inconsistent dough… Why buy a business if you are not going to have the same great taste. I guess Tom took his secrets with him or even worse the recipe is just not followed. Take it from guy who bought donuts here for 15 plus years, they are not the same. New owners take my advice slow it down, stick to the original size and recipe and just maybe I will return one day. I wish you luck and want you to do well… Sad face…

Keller’s Bakery is just as great under its new ownership! Thank goodness! We just stopped by yesterday for breakfast on the way to O.C., and it was a fantastic start to our day. Another Unilocaler noted that the new ownership wasn’t friendly, but that wasn’t my experience at all. They were busy, but pleasant. I’ve been going to Keller’s for close to 40 years. The marshmallow buns are, by far, my favorites. I challenge you to find anything like them elsewhere(and if you do, please send me the address!). The other doughnuts and pastries are also delicious. Try the jelly turnovers. They’re addictive. I’m looking forward to trying all my Keller’s favorites, to see how the new owners do.(But first, I’ll go buy some new stretchy pants.)

While the doughnuts are good, the customer service is so terrible that I will forgo the food. The owners and managers are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered and treat customers terribly. The shift workers they hire are equally surly. Although this is in my hometown, I refuse to patronize a shop with such blatantly awful service.

Donuts here are the best(and filling, unlike DD donuts) but don’t expect any bells or whistles. Bakery needs an update or some decorations at least, but I doubt this bakery will ever get the face lift it deserves. No credit cards or checks accepted so be prepared with cash. Also, the staff has probably never heard of the term«customer service» which is fine, as long as you’re used to it. It’s like a dive bar, but for donuts. Missing one star for the lack of customer service, but I’d still eat a donut from Keller’s over DD any day!

Keller’s Bakery has good doughnuts, let me start off by saying that. They are soft and taste much better than any you are likely to get at any major chain. My wife is a sucker for their jelly pies, small jam-filled pastries that seem to be one of their major sellers(I find them unique but a little dry.) Unfortunately, no love or attention seems to be being paid to the business side of things. The bakery itself lacks decoration and has so much unused space I always wonder if I’ve caught them in the middle of a going out of business sale. Also, they have no variety or imagination when it comes to their products. They do offer a variety of doughnuts and pastries, but only those doughnuts and pastries. The styles and offerings never change. For instance, they have a purple-sprinkled doughnut, I suppose to appeal to Ravens fans. Why not one with orange sprinkles, considering it’s baseball season and the Orioles are doing quite well? Most telling, I ordered a cup of coffee the last time I was there. It was served with powdered creamer, because why would a bakery keep actual milk and cream on hand?

My co-workers brings them in our office from time to time and I LOVE them. They’re DELICIOUS. I tried the donuts and the raspberry danish. YUMMY. I don’t live near Linthicum so I eat when I can!!! I’m not a fan of the other donuts with jellys or marshmallows in them but my co-workers LOVE them.

I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect donut in the Baltimore area and have tried all the mom and pop shops. I have to say that Keller’s Bakery is overrated. It is located in a strip mall and has a small time mom and pop shop feel. I wanted to love these donuts but they were a little tough in my opinion. A dozen will cost $ 10.20 and I got almost every variety and tried it. The donut itself was made of the same dough for all the doughnuts and it was really heavy and dense. Not like the airy and fluffy soft variety I like from Carlson’s Donut or Arundel Donut. The vanilla custard and even the fruit jelly were under whelming. I’m a little disappointed. But I guess now I can say I’ve tried their doughnuts. Back to my Carlson’s Donut in Odenton. :)

Overall, very good donuts with a decent selection. We got 4 glazed, a marshmallow, and a jelly donut. Came out to $ 5.10. Cash only, BTW. Not sure if it’s a Maryland thing… But why do donut bakeries not offer Pigs in a Blanket?! Will be back to try others, the ones that we got were delicious!

Fantastic raised donuts! I highly recommend the chocolate topped and the cinnamon. Also, this place is cheap – about $ 10 for a dozen donuts. Note that you do need to bring cash. Staff politeness is hit or miss, but I don’t really care.

Anyone who says Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme, 7 – 11, Giant, or Safeway, has better donuts than Keller’s Bakery… is a FULLTIMESTUPIDFUCK!!! Not part time… FULLTIME!!! They do it the old school way, and that is the best way. In 10 years, I haven’t had a donut from there that has sucked, and I don’t think they will let it happen. They are a legit BAKERY… and not a doughnut shop. Maybe that is why some of you stupid fucks get it wrong. My wife and I love their Honey Dipped, Cinnamon, and their Coconut Donut.

During a layover at BWI airport, I caught the rail to Keller’s which is a short walk from one of the stops. I was led to the bakery due to its location and Unilocal reviews. I arrived about an hour before closing so I was not expecting anything fresh out of the oven. I tried three doughnuts, a raspberry filled, a glazed, and a marshmallow filled doughnut. I have to say that the doughnuts were good not great. My favorite was the jelly filled doughnut and my least favorite was the marshmallow filled doughnut. Although a broke a cardinal rule by ordering an ingredient I don’t really like, but the marshmallow doughnut looked so inviting. I will try them again in the future but only if I can get there when they first open and the doughnuts are fresh. The staff was nice and courteous which is always a plus when distinguishing between where to grab a quick breakfast treat.

We get our doughnut fix at work from Kellers Bakery. This is the real deal, real bakers making the goods by hand, god bless em. The dough is fresh and literally melts in your mouth. the selection is basic but very good. the glazed are my favorite. They don’t last long at meetings so you better grab two. I just wish they would stay open a little later. Two big thumbs up for Kellers Bakery!

just took a quick visit here again when a friend was in town. Still the best raised donuts around in my opinion. Main reason for me is the dough. most places that sell raised donuts tend to have doughs that are airy and light. Keller’s dough is a little more substantial … it has more of a chew to it, which I personally like. There are many flavors here, and my favorite is chocolate with coconut. They also sell marshmallow donuts and jelly pies here, but I personally stick with their regular donuts. They also have cakes and bread too I think. I hope this place stays around for a while longer!
