Meet the Business Owner
Sam K.
Business Owner
The owners of the Big Island Sams are Hiram Sam Kaoo — Hiram goes by Sam — and Donald Carter. Sam is from the Big Island, hence the name Big Island Sams. And Donald is a local, right here in Lindon. Sam and Donald were in the same LDS mission — Southwest — stayed friends since their missions; and decided to open Big Island Sams, here in Utah County. Sam has restaurant experience working for his brother, who has two Hawaiian restaurant on the Big Island. And after working for his brother for a couple of years, decided (and teamed up with Donald) to open Big Island Sams here in Lindon, UT.
