Okay donuts, and only okay. I had high hopes when I saw the creative flavors, but they are all a little dry and very dense. This place does have the coolest donuts in town but they are also expensive for donuts. For my money, Lamars has a better donut and is cheaper, and has better parking. All this place has is wacky flavors…

What an amazing place. Amazing doughnuts, great coffee, and best of all great customer service. I ordered 3 dozen and they met my silly demands that I made. By the the best doughnuts in town!

I LOVE their donuts, but sadly I am not happy with the hours they are open. I work close to the downtown location and I try to plan to get donuts in the morning but they have posted that they don’t open until 7:30, I got there at 7:35 and no one was there. It’s difficult to know when they are going to be there. I get that they only make a certain amount per day and they might close early if they are sold out, but at least be open on time. However, the donuts are amazing and creative, this won’t hinder me from going back. I just might have to make it a mid morning snack for myself instead of going to pick up 2 dozen for my team.

Excellent doughnuts and this place has some really different ones. PB&J is awesome, as is the maple frosted bacon, blueberry, and the chocolate peppermint. Nobody else in town has anything like these doughnuts. Most of the rest of the places like Dunkin or Hyvee have basic fair and typical stuff. This place is off the wall and they do a nice job. Plenty of seating and location is in the Railyard area. Really not a bad doughnut in the place. Their selection is good and it changes frequently. The only complaint is they run out of the good stuff quickly so you want to get here earlier rather then later, but hey that’s ok I want them to stay busy and stay open! Support local places, and shop here if you want good Doughnuts.

Delicious, fresh doughnuts. What more can you ask for? I’ve had the maple bacon doughnut, the chocolate doughnut, and I tried a friend’s PB&J(not all on one visit, promise). All were perfect. Get there early because they do sometimes run out of doughnuts and close early. I love bringing out-of-town guests here because it’s always a huge hit and I love sharing our local treasures. Keep it going Doughnut Hole! Lincoln loves you!

So good! Their coffee is wonderful, too. The only bad reviews I see here are about the service. People don’t understand that they close up when they run out if donuts. I’m not sure what else people thing they should do… Stay open without anything to sell? Typical Lincolnites, I guess.

We stopped here while driving through Nebraska and this was definitely with the couple extra minutes of I-80. The Donut Hole has super fresh and super tasty donuts of so many different varieties. And it seems like they change them everyday. On our visit we had to try one of their«Deluxe» donuts. When we stopped it was Maple Frosted with Bacon. It was perfect. Sweet with the savory. Yum. Their vanilla glazed donuts are like a Krispy Crème donut on steroids and a million times better. The weigh a ton. The kids had basics, chocolate frosted and vanilla frosted cake, which were perfect as well. In addition to their donuts, coffee was pretty good as well. We came here on our way to Denver and we will definitely hit this place again for donuts on out ride home.

Delicious donuts. Yes, I am a fan and I don’t really like donuts that much. The only reason I am marking them down one star is they don’t seem to make many and they run out fairly quickly. How am I supposed to get my donut fix if they are out?

I wholeheartedly LOVE their donuts– the company that I currently work for frequently buys them in large quantities as a fun treat for everyone. Quality product, by far. My only complaint is that the business hours currently listed are not correct. I just walked through about 30 mins ago to see if they were actually open, and unfortunately they were not. As they are a bakery, I figured that they would have early hours and close sometime mid-day. I was excited to see(on Unilocal) that they were open until 6pm, but I was disappointed to see the gate in front of the shop while the other 3 businesses in the ‘marketplace’ were open. I’m unable to access Facebook at work, so I could not see their hours from there, but I am wondering if FB has different hours posted. Either way, the hours should definitely be updated and/or specified clearly online.

Awesome doughnuts! They have so many choices and all of them are great! I had the caramel delight doughnut which is basically the Girl Scout cookie in doughnut form(yes please!). My husband had the maple bacon doughnut which he described as «Sunday morning breakfast all wrapped up into a doughnut.» They also serve Stumptown coffee which is superb coffee.

Stopped in this morning on «National Doughnut Day» and was told they were out of doughnuts. Granted it was 10:45a on a Friday, but really? Not even, «we’ll have some more this afternoon» or «sorry, there are some coming out soon». They’re supposedly open until 6p — what for, may I ask? I hope I can update this review at a later date — maybe if I show up at 7a?

Visiting Lincoln from Illinois, someone happened to recommend this place as having«the best doughnuts ever». I’m not really sure what that means, but I left Nebraska with a half dozen different doughnuts from the Doughnut Hole and I was not disappointed. I got a smattering of different kinds, but my favorite was the maple bacon long john. I’m not a huge bacon person but this doughnut worked on levels that Dunkin and other fast food doughnuts could only dream of. Also, as another recommendation I’d say go for the cake style doughnuts — they are quite hearty and filling. Also, not that it matters much but I really liked the packaging for the doughnuts! My container looked really high end. I felt pretty fancy riding back to Illinois with my gourmet doughnuts.

Stopped in for the sake of convenience. Wow! Never has a donut stood out like this one. I could tell it made fresh with care from the best ingredients. Will be back often.

First, I love how creative the flavors are! I had a banana/peanut butter glazed doughnut one day and it was really delicious. Like stated in other reviews, not too sweet, which I love. Also their lattes are really delicious, I could tell that the guy who made my latte knew what he was doing. I said I had to drive across town with my drinks, so he made them extra hot for me! Thanks! I want you guys to open another location closer to me!

We first fell in love with the rich yet light and fluffy taste of the doughnuts at the Farmer’s Markets in The Haymarket and at Old Cheney Center. Once we found out they were made with local ingredients, unbleached flour and fried in canola oil the love affair only grew. We used to count the days til we could sink our teeth into another flavor at the next market so color us thrilled that we can now get the goods almost any day of the week! The crème brûlée flavor is amazing as is the peach but on a crisp autumn day the chocolate glazed doughnut paired with a pumpkin spice latte is like a little slice of heaven. The only downside is that these treats are so delicious they often sell out and you might have to wait a spell til the next batch is ready.
