I have a great time at the games there. Great lighting, sound, giant screens. Love it. Enjoy the parking. Like the Rail yard being nearby

The arena is pretty nice. A modern structure with plenty of multilevel seating. I am not a fan of the seating. I am tall and apparently wide. I liken these seats to that of a small domestic airplane seat built by someone with an eating disorder to make themselves feel fat. Up until then I have felt fairly comfortable with my physique. There is also a lack of leg room. Fortunately someone was not sitting in front of me of they could have had to contend with my knees in their neck. I was honestly ready for the two hour event to finish so I could pour myself out from the chair and feel my toes again. I may have mistakenly bough a seat in the children’s section, but for seating so close to the floor that they had to be premium seats I would have been fuming if I had not gotten them at a discount. Overall, great facility until you need to sit.

The Arena itself is first class in just about every way. They have plenty of concessions and bathrooms, which is usually my first complaint of large Arenas. They acustics are fantastic, we have been to many concerts there so far, and every one has sounded spectacular if your in the 5th row, or in the upper decks. There are no bad seats in the place for sound or sight as everywhere has a great view and sound of the main floor. They can move the floor around and adjust it to accomidate Charity events, Ice shows, Basketball, top notch bands or whatever else you could think of. It holds up to 15,000 people and when its full the place is rocking for basketball games. Is the food and beer pricey, yes. Its $ 2 or $ 4 for hotdogs, and $ 5 for pizza. Beer ranges from $ 7 – 9. Popcorn is $ 3, and soda is $ 3 – 4. Compared to larger cities, these prices are actually a little cheaper, but in line with nearly all major venues in the US. Example, Chiefs beers are $ 8.50, and 49ers its $ 10.50. And food, Try $ 13 for a burger at Vikings Stadium. Basketball arenas are usually similar so Honestly, Pinnacle Bank Arena is right in line with what I expect to pay. And I don’t mind to keep all these great shows coming. World class events like Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Michael Bublé, The Eagles, and much more. We never would have gotten such great concerts without such a world class event center and arena. Parking: 8 parking garages in and around Haymarket and Pinnacle Bank Arena provides about 6,000 parking spots plus another 800 street parking spots for events. If the weather is nice, I recommend parking a little further away and walking because you will get in and out of the area faster. Area Restaurants: Some great choices within a short walk include Hiro 88, Lazlos, Lead Belly, Brix and Stone, JTK, Mellow Mushroom, Wings and Rings, Blue Sushi, Dozo, Rodizio, Buzzard Billys, and many others. Lincoln is really coming up in the world. The new Haymarket area is becoming vibrant and full of fun bars and restaurants to visit. I can’t wait to see what they build next!

Went to the recent Paul McCartney show at the Pinnacle Bank arena and it was my first time there. I love the party atmosphere around the arena in the Hay-market and Railyard. While this is not the arena, you can tell through their social media that they are partnering with these area’s to create this big event feel. We got their close to showtime and found reasonable parking in a garage close to the arena so that doesn’t seem to be a huge issue. Getting in was very frustrating. The way the flow to get to your seat is set up is a huge design flaw IMO. It’s a crush scene with only a certain amount of people(very few) being let on one escalator(but a huge line to get on it) and everyone else crushing on the steps. Then you go through it again with the second escalator(though this one is a free for all with people coming from every which way to get on it)-then you get to your level and the halls are jam packed and merch and food booths are blocking your way. Insane. Leaving was even worse as we were all crammed into this stairwell(with locked doors) and it took forever. Got to our seats which were way up there(not a complaint-we bought them) and it sounded pretty good where we were. Much better than The CLink in Omaha. It’s a fine arena with good sight lines. We didn’t really run across any staff except for who was scanning tickets. We didn’t get any concessions as the show was getting ready to start after the getting in craziness, and once we were seated we just could not find a good spot in the show to want to leave our seats. ‘ If they can fix that flow in and out of the arena this would be a great spot to see a large arena show. I attend shows four or five nights a week and can’t remember ever seeing anything like this anywhere except in some parking lots.

Very nice arena. It almost looks like a space ship as you drive into town. We came in from Omaha to take in a show. The layout is well done. Sound was amazing. The lines were a little long to get a drink for those on the floor. Also the security needs some serious training. I get the whole retiree thing. I’m sure they all know somebody who knows somebody who got them the job, but… Stay out of the way!!! We went to a cirque du soleil show and were repeatedly distracted by several misinformed«security» staff members running around throughout the entire thing. The key here is CIRQUEDUSOLEIL show. The security staff needs to use some common sense and have a seat. The arena was less then half full. Many in the crowd spent well over $ 100 a ticket to watch THESHOW. Not obese«security» staff constantly scurrying around and taking away from the experience. One lasting image I had was a rather large female security member just standing next to the production table on the back side of the floor just watching the show, literally blocking the view from paying patrons behind her! I hope the review is seen by management so they can receive further training. I know it’s all new and exciting in Lincoln, but the concepts I speak of are simple and have been around for a long time. Drive 45 mins to Omaha to Century Link Center for a blue print if needed. Security should be like refs in sports. Unnoticeable until needed.

Very nice arena with great acoustics. Nice addition to Lincoln and the Haymarket. Only problem is we purchased premium seats on the side of the stage. Ushers are letting people sit in the section next to us which was not sold. Had a front row seat until people from the top sections moved in. Staff is not performing their jobs. Could have saved hundreds of dollars on tickets and set anywhere.

Very nice facility. Had my graduation from UNL here. Seems like a bit too much stadium for a town the size of Lincoln, especially with the arena in Omaha, but it’s a nice facility.

AWESOME venue… season ticket holder for Nebraska Basketball and couldn’t be more pleased with the place. Beginning of the season there were some cell phone issues with service but they got it fixed and now the place is one of the top venues in the country!

Did not think I was going to like it for a basketball games but turns out I like it a lot. Has the best sound for a concert at an indoor arena I have ever been to. I noticed at the mens basketball game the other day they do have the frozen malts again. It would have been a shame had they not brought these back. They could have put a couple more escalators to get the top floor and more concession down the west side would make sense but overall turned out pretty good for this little town.

In the past, the best thing that could be said about Nebraska basketball was that it was a great fundraiser for Nebraska football. While that’s still true to some extent, Pinnacle Bank Arena is AMAZING. Overnight we went from having an afterthought of an arena to one that ranks up there with Michigan State’s Breslin as one of the best in the country. It’s a brand new arena, so of course you’d expect the seats to be comfortable and the floors immaculate(they are and they are). But what struck me right away were the first class amenities, from the sizable souvenir shop to concession stands that are all«Nebraska-themed» with unique offerings at each stop. Now, this last may not seem like a big deal to you, but if you’ve dealt with the incredibly monotonous offerings at most Big Ten or Big XII venues(i.e., popcorn and peanuts at every concession stand, resulting in plenty of nervous glances at your watch as you worry that any nearby restaurants with real food will all be closed by the time the game ends), then you’ll have a much greater appreciation of what the university is trying to do here. The Haymarket Square around the arena has been significantly upgraded and can now be considered a destination spot before and after games(be sure to check out the«Doughnut Hole» for some unique flavors – I recommend the peanut butter glazed). Nebraska may never be a basketball school, but if this arena doesn’t at least help us start to draw in better recruits, nothing ever will.
